In this article, I argue that the ritual experience of water-baptism plays an essential role in Paul's metaphorical expression and rhetorical purpose in 1 Corinthians 12:13. To explore the role of baptism, I use conceptual blending theory from cognitive linguistics to define and demonstrate the metaphorical ways in which ritual functions in the human mind. In so doing, I emphasize the performance of a ritual itself and the contextual perception of its performance, arguing for a metaphorical relationship between the two. I apply conceptual blending analysis to interpret the complex interplay of three metaphors in 1 Corinthians 12:13. I argue that Paul forms a conceptual blend of three metaphors in this verse, and that baptism, the water-rite, plays a pivotal role in this blend by providing the physical pattern of immersion and the cultural understanding of this immersion as a new belonging. Using baptism, Paul achieves his purpose of re-picturing the reception of the Spirit and appealing for social union. This verse thus presents an excellent case of the role of ritual in the emergence of early Christianity and the explanatory power of ritual studies to the New Testament texts.

The current study aims to contextualise cohousing with a focus on analysing a traditional rural settlement in Iran. Azghad is a historical village located in Iran, which has been developed throughout centuries based on strong social and environmental systems. The research uses field studies in the form of observing the environment of Azghad village, initial and natural explanation of housing pattern and interviews with local people with a qualitative research approach and documentary studies examines the physical characteristics of this rural community. Through investigating the physical pattern of the village in the area under study, the elements of the social–physical system which form the residential type of the village were extracted. The comparison of the social and physical system of the residential fabric of the Azghad and its residential neighbourhoods showed that the residential pattern of Azghad could be introduced as an example of a collective housing model. The rural housing type is an example of a collective housing style that has been formed over time based on the shared values of residents and the activities they wanted to do collectively.

Based on research, milennials have one prominent character over the past generations, it is creative thinking. after several studies milenials have a huge interest on fashion and craft, as seen on their creative activity both In real life and digital life related to it. Indonesian Creative Entrepreneurs nowadays are dominated with Millennials1. But what prevent their bussinesses from growing are the synergy inbetween that is too complicated, waisting their time and money. Creative Hub is a space, sustainably supporting creative entrepreneurs and people to gather, collaborate, and grow. Createur itself is a combination of Creative and Entrepreneur. Createur located near Pasar Baru, a historic shopping center that supply various things related to fashion and craft, there are also skilled workers related. Design method that was used is Pattern Language by studying physical pattern around site and recreating new pattern associated with the building programs produced. Createur in this case provide various kinds of facilty related from idea searching, designing, producing, to publishing. Milenials that was working inside the Creative Hub can easily jump to the field discovering materials. watching the skilled workers, and practice directly inside the Creative Hub. AbstrakBerdasarkan pengkajian, milenials memiliki satu karakteristik yang menonjol dari generasi sebelumnya, yakni berpikir kreatif. Setelah melakukan beberapa studi milenials memiliki minat yang besar terhadap bidang Fashion dan Kriya, hal ini terlihat dari banyaknya aktivitas kreatif milenials baik di dunia nyata maupun di dunia maya yang terkait dengan kedua hal tersebut. Pelaku usaha kreatif di indonesia saat ini didominasi oleh Milenials. Namun yang menjadi penghalang berkembangnya usaha kreatif milenials adalah sinergi usaha yang terlalu rumit dan membuang banyak waktu dan biaya. Pusat Kreativitas adalah ruang yang secara berkelanjutan mendukung pelaku usaha kreatif dan orang-orang untuk berkumpul, berkolaborasi, dan berkembang. Createur sendiri adalah gabungan dari creative dan entrepreneur yang artinya adalah pelaku usaha kreatif. Createur berlokasi di dekat Pasar Baru, pusat perbelanjaan bersejarah yang menyediakan berbagai macam kebutuhan yang berhubungan dengan fashion dan kriya didalamnya-pun banyak tenaga terampil terkait. Metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah pattern language dengan mengkaji pola fisik di sekitar tapak dan membuat pola baru dengan mengaitkan dengan program bangunan yang dihasilkan. Createur dalam hal ini menyediakan berbagai macam fasilitas yang berhubungan mulai dari pencarian ide, mendesain, produksi, hingga publikasi. Milenials yang sedang bekerja di dalam Pusat Kreativitas dapat dengan mudah terjun ke lapangan berbelanja bahan produksi, melihat para tenaga ahli bekerja, dan langsung mempraktikannya di dalam Pusat Kreativitas.

In high-pressure gas-jet emitters, the source of sound energy is kinetic energy of gas jet at supercritical pressure ratios between the working pressure and the atmospheric pressure. Under certain conditions, interaction of a supersonic jet with the resonator is accompanied by powerful self-excited oscillating process with the generation of acoustic waves into the environment and cavity resonator. A model of a self-excited oscillating process arising from the interaction of non-isobaric jet with semi-closed cylindrical cavities, allowing to distinguish typical elements of gas-dynamic structure of the forming flow, is considered. The physical pattern of the flow in the cavity of gas-jet emitter is discussed, and a study of the dependence of the characteristics of the self-excited oscillating process on the gas-dynamic and geometric parameters is performed.

Supersonic jets are widely used in devices based on the phenomenon of a self-oscillating process that occurs when a gas flow interacts with circular cavities (gas-jet sound emitters). The mechanisms of maintaining undamped pressure oscillations and determining the flow field in the tube cavity during the interaction of a supersonic underexpanded jet with cavity are considered. The physical pattern of the flow in the cavity of a gas-jet emitter is discussed, the existence of odd longitudinal modes is shown, and wave diagrams are proposed for describing the flow in odd longitudinal modes. The wave diagrams are based on the analysis of the signals of piezoelectric sensors, recording pressure oscillations in the tube cavity. The calculation of the flow parameters in the tube cavity in longitudinal modes is based on the flow velocity and speed of sound diagram.

Цель статьи разработать и исследовать математическую модель колееобразования и уплотнения снежной целины, вызванного действием движителя лесной машины. Теоретическую базу исследования составляют положения теории движения автомобильного транспорта в условиях бездорожья. Методы исследования включают в себя математический анализ, вычислительный эксперимент и аппроксимацию расчетных данных. Составлены интегральные уравнения для расчета глубины колеи и сжатия массива снежной поверхности под воздействием движителя. Уравнения составлены с учетом изменения механических свойств снега в процессе уплотнения. По результатам аппроксимации результатов численного решения предложенных уравнений получены упрощенные соотношения, позволяющие определить глубину колеи и сжатие снега как функции его начальной плотности, толщины снежного покрова, среднего давления по пятну контакта движителя с опорной поверхностью и геометрических параметров пятна контакта. Установлено, что несущая способность заснеженной опорной поверхности увеличивается вслед за возрастающим давлением по пятну контакта, что вызвано как уменьшением толщины деформируемого слоя снега, так и увеличением механических свойств снега при уплотнении, что отражает физическую картину колееобразования на заснеженной поверхности. При нормальном давлении в 50 от несущей способности глубина колеи составит ориентировочно 20 толщины деформируемого слоя опорной поверхности, а при давлении, близком к несущей способности 60 от толщины снежного покрова. Соотношение абсолютной деформации сжатия снега и глубины колеипри давлении до 10 от несущей способности опорной поверхности составляет ориентировочно 1:1. При возрастании давления до 20 от несущей способности соотношение составит 1:2, а при повышении среднего давления до 100 от несущей способности соотношение деформации сжатия и глубины колеи составит 1:4. The purpose of our article is developing and investigating a mathematical model of rutting and compaction of snowy virgin soil, caused by the action of forest machine rover. Theoretical basis of the study consists of theory of offtheroad locomotion. Research methods include mathematical analysis, computational experiment and approximation of the calculated data. The study compiles integral equations for calculating the rut depth and compression of snow surface under the rover influence. The equations take into account changes in mechanical properties of the snow in the compaction process. Basing to the results of approximation of numerical solution of the equations, simplified relations were obtained, allowing to determine the rut depth and snow compression as functions of the initial snow density, snow cover thickness, average contact pressure and geometric parameters of the contact patch. The study establishes that bearing capacity of snowcovered surface increases following the increasing pressure on the contact patch, which is caused by both a decrease in thickness of deformable snow layer and an increase in mechanical properties of snow during compaction, which reflects physical pattern of rutting on snowcovered surface. With a contact pressure of 50 of the bearing capacity, the rut depth will be approximately 20 of the thickness of the deformable layer, and at a pressure close to the bearing capacity 60 of snow cover thickness. The ratio of absolute compression deformation of snow and the rut depth at the pressure of up to 10 of the bearing capacity is approximately 1:1. With an increase in the pressure up to 20 of the bearing capacity, the ratio will be 1:2, and with an increase in the pressure up to 100 of the bearing capacity, the ratio will be 1:4.
