Biji alpukat (Persea americana Mill.) dapat dikembangkan menjadi amilum biji alpukat (Persea americana Mill.) yang dapat digunakan menjadi bahan eksipien formulasi sediaan farmasi. Akan tetapi informasi terkait manfaatnya dalam tablet masih sangat terbatas penggunaannya, sehingga industri farmasi masih jarang menggunakan amilum biji alpukat sebagai alternatif pengganti bahan eksipien dari bahan sintetis superdisintegrant pada fast disintegrating tablet (FDT). Telah dibuat sediaan fast disintegrating tablet dengan variasi konsentrasi amilum biji alpukat (5%, 10% dan 15%) dan pembanding Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG) konsentrasi 5%. Data yang didapat dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji one way ANOVA dan dilanjutkan ke uji tukey (Honestly Significant Difference) HSD. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa variasi konsentrasi amilum biji alpukat terdapat pengaruh pada sifat fisik granul dan sifat fisik tablet, formula III dengan konsentrasi 15% memiliki kriteria yang paling baik sebagai superdisintegrant pada tablet terdisintegrasi cepat. Perlu dilakukan modifikasi lanjutan amilum biji alpukat agar dapat digunakan sebagai superdisintegrant yang lebih efektif dalam formulasi fast disintegrating tablet pada penelitian selanjutnya.

Recently, heat and mass distributions within a greenhouse were assumed to be homogeneous. Heat is gained or lost in absolute terms, and crop contribution in a greenhouse or its effect is not considered. In this study, statistical analyses were conducted to establish the significance of heat and mass variation at sensor nodes in two single-span and multi-span greenhouses. Three greenhouses were used in this study, 168 m2 floor area a single-layered (SLG), double-layered (DLG) single-span gothic roof type greenhouses, and 7572.6 m2 floor area multi-span greenhouse (MSG). The microclimatic parameters investigated were temperature (T), relative humidity (RH), solar radiation (SR), carbon dioxide (CO2), and vapor pressure deficit (VPD). To check their horizontal distribution, all microclimate data collected from each sensor node in each greenhouse were subjected to descriptive statistics and Tukey honestly significant difference (HSD) test. The lowest minimum temperatures of 2.93 °C, 3.33 °C and 10.50 °C were recorded at sensor points in SLG, DLG, and MSG, respectively, whereas the highest maximum temperatures of 29.17 °C, 29.07 °C and 27.20 °C were recorded at sensor point, in SLG, DLG, and MSG, respectively. The difference between the center and the side into the single-span was approximately 0.88 °C–1.0 °C and in the MSG was approximately 1.03 °C. Significant variation was observed in the horizontal distribution of T, RH, SR, and VPD within SLG, DLG, and MSG. Also significant was CO2 in the MSG. Estimating the energy demand of greenhouses should be done based on the distribution rather than assuming microclimatic parameters homogeneity, especially for T, with VPD as a control parameter. Such estimation should also be done using a crop model that considers instant changes in air and crop temperature.

This study sought to examine the variations of internal and external load measures in soccer players when performing different types of 4 vs. 4 small-sided games (SSGs). Ten U-23 professional and sub-elite soccer players, eight outfield players (age: 20.1 ± 1.5 years old; height: 1.83 ± 0.04 m; total body mass: 76.1 ± 3.6 kg) and two goalkeepers (GK) (age: 20.5 ± 2.1 years old; height: 1.91 ± 0.04 m; total body mass: 77.0 ± 1.4 kg) participated in the study. Five SSGs were performed with 3 min duration and 3 min rest interval. SSG1, SSG2 and SSG4 aimed for ball possession play, while in SSG3 and SSG5, two GK were added, defending regular-size goals. The pitch size changed from SSG1 (16 × 24 m) to SSG2 and SSG3 (both 20 × 30 m) and SSG4 and SSG5 (both 24 × 36 m). All players were monitored using WIMU Pro device during the tasks. Anova One-Way and the post hoc Tukey honestly significant difference were used for analysis of statistically significant differences (p < 0.05) and effect sizes were determined by calculating partial eta-squared. The framework was associated with relevant but steady state internal load fatigue and induce a considerable external load stimulus. GK participation in SSGs should be carefully considered as it seems to have a greater impact on physical load measures when compared to the pitch size manipulation.

OBJECTIVE Given its minimally invasive nature and effectiveness, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) has become a mainstay for the multimodal treatment of intracranial neoplasm. However, no studies have evaluated recent trends in the use of SRS versus those of open resection for the management of brain tumor or trends in the involvement of neurosurgeons in SRS (which is primarily delivered by radiation oncologists). Here, the authors used publicly available Medicare data from 2009 to 2018 to elucidate trends in the treatment of intracranial neoplasm and to compare reimbursements between these approaches. METHODS By using CPT Professional 2019, the authors identified 10 open resection and 9 SRS codes (4 for neurosurgery and 5 for radiation oncology) for the treatment of intracranial neoplasm. Medicare payments (inflation adjusted) and allowed services (number of reimbursed procedures) for each code were abstracted from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Part B National Summary Data File (2009–2018). Payments per procedure and procedures per 100,000 Medicare enrollees were analyzed with linear regression and compared with tests for equality of slopes (α = 0.05). The average payment per procedure over the study period was compared by using the 2-tailed Welsh unequal variances t-test, and more granular comparisons were conducted by using ANOVA with post hoc Tukey honestly significant difference (HSD) tests. RESULTS From 2009 to 2018, the number of SRS treatments per 100,000 Medicare enrollees for intracranial neoplasm increased by 3.97 cases/year (R2 = 0.99, p < 0.001), while comparable open resections decreased by 0.34 cases/year (R2 = 0.85, p < 0.001) (t16 = 7.5, p < 0.001). By 2018, 2.6 times more SRS treatments were performed per 100,000 enrollees than open resections (74.9 vs 28.7 procedures). However, neurosurgeon involvement in SRS treatment declined over the study period, from 23.4% to 11.5% of SRS treatments; simultaneously, the number of lesions treated per session increased from 1.46 to 1.84 (R2 = 0.98, p < 0.001). Overall, physician payments from 2013 to 2018 averaged $1816.08 (95% CI $1788.71–$1843.44) per SRS treatment and $1565.59 (95% CI $1535.83–$1595.34) per open resection (t10 = 15.9, p < 0.001). For neurosurgeons specifically, reimbursements averaged $1566 per open resection, but this decreased to $1031–$1198 per SRS session; comparatively, radiation oncologists were reimbursed even less (average $359–$898) per SRS session (p < 0.05 according to the Tukey HSD test for all comparisons). CONCLUSIONS Over a decade, the number of open resections for intracranial neoplasm in Medicare enrollees declined slightly, while the number of SRS procedures increased greatly. This latter expansion is largely attributable to radiation oncologists; meanwhile, neurosurgeons have shifted their involvement in SRS toward sessions for the management of multiple lesions.

Ekonomi global yang semakin kompetitif membuat setiap negara bekerja keras untuk meningkatkan kinerja ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kondisi makro ekonomi negara-negara ASEAN yaitu Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Filipina, Kamboja, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapura, Thailand dan Vietnam selama tahun 2015 - 2018 yaitu di masa periode pemerintahan Presiden RI Ir. H. Joko Widodo. Kondisi makro ekonomi setiap negara ASEAN digambarkan melalui beberapa indikator yaitu pertumbuhan ekonomi, pendapatan per kapita, tingkat inflasi, dan tingkat pengangguran.  Perbandingan makro ekonomi pada negara ASEAN dilakukan melalui analisis komparasi uji beda One Way ANOVA untuk menjawab apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara indikator makro ekonomi Indonesia dan 9 negara ASEAN, dan teknik uji lanjut (post hoc test) menggunakan uji Tukey Honestly Significant Difference untuk menjelaskan pola perbedaan dalam hasil uji One Way ANOVA. Hasil uji beda One Way ANOVA menununjukan pertumbuhan ekonomi, pendapatan per kapita, tingkat inflasi dan tingkat pengangguran di Indonesia dan 9 negara ASEAN masing-masing memiliki nilai signifikansi α kurang dari 0.05 sehingga disimpulkan bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi, pendapatan per kapita, tingkat inflasi dan tingkat pengangguran di Indonesia dan 9 negara ASEAN memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan. Practicing as a nurse may be a factor influencing the overall level of satisfaction with life. The aim of the study was to assess the level of satisfaction with nurses’ lives in relation to the place of employment. The research was conducted among nurses working in hospitals, primary health care, and outpatient specialist care. The study was carried out with the use of the satisfaction with life scale (SWLS) scale. Statistical analysis included a quantitative and qualitative approach to life satisfaction of the nurses surveyed. The impact of independent variables, measured on nominal (qualitative) scales on the results of the SWLS scale in quantitative terms, was assessed using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). Pairwise comparisons were assessed with the assumption of equality of variance with the Tukey honestly significant difference test. The level of satisfaction with life of the surveyed nurses was average. The place where nurses worked significantly influenced the level of life satisfaction. Nurses working in a hospital had a high level of satisfaction with life more so than nurses working in primary care or outpatient specialist care. The workplace is a factor that significantly differentiates the level of life satisfaction of the surveyed nurses.

Aim: The aim of the present study was to compare the effects of remineralizing agents (nano-hydroxyapatite [n-HAP], NovaMin, calcium sucrose phosphate [CaSP], and Pro-Argin) on surface characteristics of slenderized enamel using Vickers microhardness and scanning electron microscope–energy dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX) analysis. Materials and Method: Sixty extracted premolar teeth were divided into 6 groups: group 1—natural teeth; group 2—slenderization and polishing; group 3—n-HAP; group 4—NovaMin; group 5—CaSP; and group 6—Pro-Argin. Remineralizing agents were applied for 21 days. Specimens were evaluated using Vickers microhardness and SEM-EDX analysis. A 1-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and post-hoc Tukey honestly significant difference (HSD) test were used for intragroup comparisons. Results: Among all remineralizing agents, CaSP showed significantly maximum surface microhardness, followed by NovaMin, n-HAP, and Pro-Argin. SEM also showed increased surface roughness for all remineralizing agents. EDX showed maximum increase in mineral content obtained with CaSP. Conclusion: All remineralizing agents significantly remineralized the stripped enamel surface. CaSP demonstrated promising results by effectively and significantly remineralizing the enamel lesions as compared to other test agents.
