Abstract The work reported in this paper demonstrates the cosmology of f(Q) gravity and the reconstruction of various associated parameters with different versions of holographic dark energy with generalized cut-offs, where Q = 6 H 2. The Universe is considered to be filled with viscous fluid characterized by a viscous pressure Π = – 3 H ξ, where ξ = ξ 0 + ξ 1 H + ξ 2 ( H ˙ + H 2 ) and H is the Hubble parameter. Considering the power law form of expansion, we have derived the expression of f(Q) under a non-viscous holographic framework and it is then extended to viscous cosmological settings with extended generalized holographic Ricci dark energy. The forms of f(Q) for both the cases are found to be monotonically increasing functions of Q. In the viscous holographic framework, f(Q) is reconstructed as a function of cosmic time t and is found to stay at a positive level with Nojiri-Odintsov cut-off. In these cosmological settings, the slow roll parameters are computed and a scope of exit from inflation and quasi-exponential expansion are found to be available. Finally, it is observed that warm inflationary expansion can be obtained from this model.

In this paper, connections between the path integrals for four-dimensional quantum gravity and string theory are emphasized. It is shown that there is a natural relation between these two path integrals based on the theorems on embeddings of two-dimensional surfaces in four dimensions and four-dimensional manifolds in ten dimensions. The isometry groups of the three-geometries that are spatial hypersurfaces confomally embedded in the four-manifolds are required to be subgroups of [Formula: see text], which is the invariance group of the Pfaffian differential system satisfied by one form in the cotangent bundles on the four-manifolds. Based on this and other physical conditions, the three-geometries are restricted to be [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] with a boundary, which may be included in the quantum gravitational path integral over four-manifolds which are closed at initial times followed by an exponential expansion compatible with supersymmetry.

In this work the nonrelativistic ionization energies 3He2+μ−e− and 4He2+μ−e− of helium-muonic atoms are calculated for S states. The estimates are based on the variational principle of exponential expansion. Convergence of the numerical values of variational energies is studied by increasing a number of the basis functions N. That allows to claim that the obtained energy values have 30-33 significant digits for S states

The most ancient macroscopic plants fossils are Early Silurian cooksonioid sporophytes from the volcanic islands of the peri-Gondwanan palaeoregion (the Barrandian area, Prague Basin, Czech Republic). However, available palynological, phylogenetic and geological evidence indicates that the history of plant terrestrialization is much longer and it is recently accepted that land floras, producing different types of spores, already were established in the Ordovician Period. Here we attempt to correlate Silurian floral development with environmental dynamics based on our data from the Prague Basin, but also to compile known data on a global scale. Spore-assemblage analysis clearly indicates a significant and almost exponential expansion of trilete-spore producing plants starting during the Wenlock Epoch, while cryptospore-producers, which dominated until the Telychian Age, were evolutionarily stagnate. Interestingly cryptospore vs. trilete-spore producers seem to react differentially to Silurian glaciations—trilete-spore producing plants react more sensitively to glacial cooling, showing a reduction in species numbers. Both our own and compiled data indicate highly terrestrialized, advanced Silurian land-plant assemblage/flora types with obviously great ability to resist different dry-land stress conditions. As previously suggested some authors, they seem to evolve on different palaeo continents into quite disjunct specific plant assemblages, certainly reflecting the different geological, geographical and climatic conditions to which they were subject.

The exponential expansion of genomic data coupled with the lack of appropriate clinical categorization of the variants is posing a major challenge to conventional medications for many common and rare diseases. To narrow this gap and achieve the goals of personalized medicine, a collaborative effort should be made to characterize the genomic variants functionally and clinically with a massive global genomic sequencing of “healthy” subjects from several ethnicities. Familial-based clustered diseases with homogenous genetic backgrounds are amongst the most beneficial tools to help address this challenge. This review will discuss the diagnosis, management, and clinical monitoring of familial hypercholesterolemia patients from a wide angle to cover both the genetic mutations underlying the phenotype, and the pharmacogenomic traits unveiled by the conventional and novel therapeutic approaches. Achieving a drug-related interactive genomic map will potentially benefit populations at risk across the globe who suffer from dyslipidemia.

Abstract The late time crossover from matter dominated era (represented power-law evolution) to the dark energy dominated era (represented exponential evolution) of the Universe evolution is the major problem in today’s physical cosmology. Unless this critical transition problem is solved, it is not possible to reach a holistic theory of cosmology. To explain this critical transition we propose a new model where the dark matter and dark energy interacting through a potential. Based on the FLRW framework we analytically solve this model and obtain the scale factor a(t). In addition, we numerically compute all cosmological quantities. We find more significant results to enlightening the physical mechanism of the critical transition. Firstly, we show that the scale factor a(t) has a hybrid form as a(t) = a0(t/t0) α e ht/t0 . This is main and important result in the presented work, which clearly indicates that the transition from the power-law to the exponential expansion of the Universe. The numerical results clearly provide that there is a time crossover tc in the scale factor a curve, which indicates the transition from the power-law to the exponential expansion of the Universe. Below t/t0 ≤ tc, matter era dominated hence time evolution of the Universe is given by a(t) ∝ (t/t0) α , on the other hand, above t/t0 > tc, the evolution is represented by a(t) ∝ exp(ht/t0). It is first time, the hybrid result for scale factor is exactly obtained from the presented model without use any approximation. Secondly, we fit the scale factor below and above tc. Surprisingly, we find that the scale factor behaves as a(t) ∝ (t/t0) 2/3 below t/t0 ≤ tc, and as a(t) ∝ exp(ht/t0) which indicates that the Hubble parameter takes the value in the interval of the around H0 = 69.5 and H0 = 73.5 km s−1Mpc−1 depend on the weak and strong interactions between dark components above t/t0 > tc, respectively. These are remarkable that α = 2/3 is completely consistent exact solution of the FLRW and re-scaled Hubble parameter H0 is the observable intervals given by Planck, CMB and SNIa data (or other combinations) for chosen interaction values are purely consistent with cosmological observations. Thirdly, we find from the model the transition point from matter dominated era to the dark energy dominated era in the cosmic time is the t0 = 9.8 Gyear which is consistent with the theoretical solution and observations. Additionally, we numerically obtain and analyse other cosmological quantities such as dimensionless Hubble parameter h, deceleration parameter q, jerk parameter j and EoS parameter w. We show that all cosmological quantities of this model are consistent observational results for the matter and dark energy dominated eras. As a result, we consider late time crossover of the Universe, we propose an interacting dark matter and dark energy model, we show that this model can explain the late time crossover phenomena of the Universe and our solutions are very good consistent with theoretical and observational results. Finally, we state that this work makes essential steps towards solving a critical outstanding problem of the cosmology, and has a potential to creates a paradigm for future studies in this field. Furthermore, the model also sheds light on the interaction mechanism of dark matter and dark energy in the Universe.

Accelerated development of mobile networks and applications leads to the exponential expansion of resources, which causes problems such as trek and overload of information. One of the practical approaches to ease these problems is recommendation systems (RSs) that can provide individualized service. Video recommendation is one of the most critical recommendation services. However, achieving satisfactory recommendation service on the sparse data is difficult for video recommendation service. Moreover, the cold start problem further exacerbates the research challenge. Recent state-of-the-art works attempted to solve this problem by utilizing the user and item information from some other perspective. However, the significance of user and item information changes under different applications. This paper proposes an autoencoder model to improve recommendation efficiency by utilizing attribute information and implementing the proposed algorithm for video recommendation. In the proposed model, we first extract the user features and the video features by combining the user attribute and the video category information simultaneously. Then, we integrate the attention mechanism into the extracted features to generate the vital features. Finally, we incorporate the user and item potential factor to generate the probability matrix and defines the user-item rating matrix using the factorized probability matrix. Experimental results on two shared datasets demonstrates that the proposed model can effectively ameliorate video recommendation quality compared with the state-of-the-art methods.

The holographic dark energy (HDE), a form of dark energy, has been a useful tool in explaining the recent phase transition of the universe. In this paper, we study the anisotropic and homogeneous Bianchi type-III model of the universe filled with minimally interacting matter and holographic dark energy under the framework of the Brans-Dicke (BD) scalar tensor theory of gravitation. Considering two physically plausible conditions such as, (i) the special law of variation for Hubble parameter and (ii) the scalar expansion proportional to the shear scalar, we propose two new models namely, exponential expansion model and power law expansion model. We also show the dynamics of these models fit with existing observational data and literature thereof. The transit behavior of the equation of state parameter for dark energy has been analyzed graphically. The jerk parameter is also studied for both of the models describing cosmological evolution. The exponential expansion and advancement of wartime technology has the potential to wipe out ‘war’ as a meaningful category. Assuming that the creation of new wartime technologies continues to accelerate, it could soon be the case that there will no longer be wars, but rather mass killings, slaughters, or genocides. This is because the concept of ‘war’ entails that opposing sides either will, or are able to, fight back against one another to some recognizable degree. In fact, this is one of the differences between war and wholesale killing, slaughter, or genocide. With the asymmetric proliferation of killing and maiming wartime technologies, there may soon no longer be even the possibility of a fair, or somewhat fair, fight; there will only be scorched earth.

To compare the damage zones of spherical and cylindrical charges in rock and soil, a quasistatic spherical model was established to predict the characteristic dimension of the cavity. The results indicated that the damage zones of cylindrical charges were larger than those of spherical charges. Furthermore, the cavity development of two charges with different shapes was obtained by numerical simulation, and a comparison of the prediction results between the quasistatic model and numerical simulation was made. The comparison showed that the model could predict the damage zones exactly and faster than numerical simulation. Ultimately, the influence of explosions and soil media was discussed by the quasistatic model. It was observed that larger damage zones were generated by smaller values of the product of pressure and exponential expansion. However, the influence of soil media was complex, and larger damage zones were usually generated by the harder soil media.
