Geophysical electromagnetic (EM) methods are used in geological mapping, mineral exploration, groundwater studies and geotechnical investigations. Airborne EM methods have the benefit of avoiding terrain obstacles such as lakes, rivers, swamps, and ravines. Compared to manned aircrafts, drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have benefits of their own. Drone-based surveys are versatile, fast to deploy, economical and ecologically more friendly. Presently, magnetic surveying is the only geophysical method that is routinely conducted with drones. The modest maximum payload limit of drones imposes severe restrictions on the applicability of other methods including EM and radiometric methods, for example. Finnish company, Radai Ltd has been developing Louhi, a novel drone-based frequency-domain EM survey system, in an EU funded Horizon 2020 project NEXT – New Exploration Technologies. The EM system has two operation options – the first uses a large loop on the ground as an EM source and the other uses a small portable EM transmitter loop. Both systems utilize a stand-alone and light-weight three-component EM receiver that can be towed by a drone. This article presents the theoretical background of the EM methods, the solution developed by Radai Ltd, the current version of the EM device, and results from field and flight tests that demonstrate the applicability of the drone-based EM system under development.

Comprehensively monitoring indoor environmental quality (IEQ) parameters and their dynamic relations is essential to ensure improved productivity and a healthy environment for building occupants. Although IEQ significantly influences working efficiency, studies addressing this aspect with researchers in institutes as the focal point are limited. Thus, this study employed drill-down analyses, such as floor-by-floor and building-by-building examinations and used an occupant IEQ survey approach to evaluate working conditions in research buildings. This study systematically and objectively assessed IEQ using the Korea building occupant survey system. The results indicate that acoustic qualities affect the work productivity and satisfaction of the building occupants. The floor-by-floor analysis is necessary to identify IEQ factors and the reasons for the satisfaction of occupants. Additionally, it is important to improve the user-friendliness of the system, implement frequent survey distribution systems, and empirically analyze data associations among building, spatial, and demographical characteristics.

A drogue is used to stabilise and straighten seismic arrays so that seismic waves can be well-received. To embed the effect of a cone-shaped drogue into the numerical modelling of the deep-towed seismic survey system, one surrogate model that maps the relationship between the hydrodynamic characteristics of the drogue and towing conditions was obtained based on data-driven simulations. The sample data were obtained by co-simulation of the commercial software RecurDyn and Particleworks, and the modelling parameters were verified by physical experiments. According to the Morison formula, the rotational angle, angular velocity, angular acceleration, towing speed, and towing acceleration of the drogue were selected as the design variables and drag forces and aligning torque were selected as the research objectives. The sample data of more than 8500 sets were obtained from virtual manoeuvres. Subsequently, both polynomial and neural network regression algorithms were used to study these data. Finally, analysis results show that the surrogate model obtained by machine learning has good performance in predicting research objectives. The results also reveal that the neural network regression algorithm is superior to the polynomial regression algorithm, its largest error of mean square is less than 0.8 (N2/N2 mm2), and its R-squared is close to 1.

Information modeling technology also known as BIM is becoming an important part of working with data in various fields of activity. At the same time, there are still no specific recommendations for the transition to the use of digital models at the survey stage. Although engineering survey data is the basis for further actions within the life cycle of objects. The article characterizes the methodology for the modernization of engineering surveys in the context of information modeling, operating with the methods of systems analysis, foresight research and risk management. The combination of these methods allows you to identify ways of development and characterize them. All changes in the engineering survey system are described using the example of the engineering and environmental section. This is due to the fact that environmental engineering surveys use information from other sections of the survey and show reactions to changes in the system. The authors believe that under existing conditions, the most effective direction is the presentation of the results of engineering surveys in a standard form, provided that they are supplemented with a set of digital models by type of survey. In this case, it is assumed that the role of information modeling will gradually increase.

People's Business Credit (KUR) is a government program to increase Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). Micro Business Loan (KUR) is a credit for financing productive business segment of micro, small, medium, and cooperative feasible but not yet bankable for working capital and / or investment credit through direct and indirect financing pattern (linkage) guaranteed by Lembaga Penjamin Kredit. This study aims to examine how the implementation of KUR distribution and its role in the empowerment of women. This research uses mixed methods method. The sample in this research was 71 respondents who were drawn using Taro Yamane formula with precision 0,1. The location of this research is PT. Bank Mandiri branch of Medan Iskandar Muda (Tbk). The results of this study show that the distribution system of KUR PT. Bank Mandiri branch of Medan Iskandar Muda (Tbk) through nine stages using the 5 C standard (Capital, Collateral, condition, character, capacity) as the implementation guideline. The results of the study of obtaining the KUR program have a good impact on the business development and personal debtor. This is because the survey system conducted on an ongoing basis by PT. Bank Mandiri branch of Medan Iskandar Muda (Tbk) forced the debtor to discipline in financial management.
