This chapter presents an overview of smart technologies with description of using them in smart ways. It also explains the role of government flexibility as well as economic opportunity in developing smart cities. The direct and in direct impact of using smart technology on the life of citizens in a city are identified, covering the modalities as well as the enablers of such impacts. The chapter proceeds to examine the seven sectors essential of smart cities: healthcare, environment and public health, mobility and transport, energy, water, education, and security. For each sector, the significance of “smartness” is addressed with examples of how with digital transformation and usage of smart technologies citizens can greatly benefit. In general, this chapter acts as the main link between understanding smart technologies and sensors to actually employ them to enable smart living for citizens.

Internal control on cash receipts and disbuements in the company is vey important because cash is one of the assets that has an important role in the development of the company, where cash is the most liquid asset. This study aims to analyze the internal control of cash receips and disbursements in improving the quality of cash flows carried out at PT. Smart Living which is engaged in GPS installation services. In this study, the method used by the autho in analyzing the data is a qualitative method using inteview, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the internal control system for cash receipts has been unning effectively, wich has not been running effectively, because there are still dual function between recipients, depositors and cash registers.

The purpose of this study is to review the development of Smart Living for Smart City in Malaysia. Smart Living is an innovative concept of residential inspired through Smart City that complies with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by accomodating human well-being and environmental concerns. However, there have been inconsistencies in terms of definition and features practised for the local context. Hence, this research seeks to determine the practical definition and standard of Smart Living by referring to Singapore, Finland, Thailand, and Ho Chi Minh. A preliminary literature review analysis will be conducted to outline a comprehensive analysis. The outcome should be able to identify the direction of Smart Living development to be applied in Malaysia by reviewing the priority, adoption practice, available features, and special initiatives from those countries to demonstrate the essence of the study. The finding will form a basis of criteria for further development of Smart Living locally and to assist construction industry players for mutual consensus on the definition and standard of Smart Living. This is crucial to further determine the development cost concerning Smart Living development later.

12 to 13% of the GDP is spent on housing which incorporate gross rent, utilizes and owners imputed rent. Housing is important for all, India is a developing economy, housing price and affordable varies from city to city and also depending upon the population of the state, for better income and education facilitates people shift to the metropolitan cities or smart cities. Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Surat, Bangalore are facing a rise in population, where people are facing housing problems, in India people either have their own homes or they live in rented house, 65,000 million population live in the slums area in rural India due to heavy storm or cyclone the kaccha houses flow away. 1 % of the village have paccha houses which is part of smart villages. The government has launched many schemes for providing housing loans and construction of loans, however with the growing population, we require more space for housing, the smart city mission is one of the ways to provide housing for all. We need to adopt smart technology, smart living and smart housing which will provide maximum benefit at a limited cost.

Persediaan barang Pada PT Smart Living Indo yang belum efektif dan efisien ini yang melatarbelakangi penelitian, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pencatatan persedian yang sesuai dengan PSAK (Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan) No. 14 Tahun 2015 dalam menentukan harga pokok penjualan dan laba yang didapatkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kombinasi (mixed methods). Yang dimana penelitian ini menganalisis perbandingan antara penilaian menggunakan metode FIFO dengan metode average. Pengumpulan data ada pada penelitian ini meliputi pengamatan (observasi), wawancara, dokumentasi, kemudian disajikan dalam rekap perbandingan oleh perusahaan. Analisis yang dilakukan langsung ditempat acuannya untuk melakukan observasi. Dan memberikan hasil dalam penilaian persediaan dengan menggunakan metode FIFO menghasilkan harga pokok penjualan yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan metode average. Sehingga dimana laba yang didapatkan dalam perusahaan akan lebih banyak, hal tersebut penelitian menyarankan dalam perusahaan ini menggunakan metode FIFO didalam penilaian persediaannya guna untuk meningkatkan laba.

This study investigates how healthcare practitioners handle significant circumstancesof providing medical assistance and treatments to patients and what challenges theyface. Drawing on key healthcare stakeholders and mixed smart living methods, wedevelop a guideline service protocol for Internet of Things (IoT) solution to helphealthcare stakeholders in coping with operational difficulties. IoT technology is one ofthe key determinants that empowers healthcare professionals to achieve their tasks,and our goal is to study the functions that provides to local citizens, especially olderpeople, and to evaluate how the functions and platform could assist corporatecompliance policies to increase the efficiency of healthcare service. Our fieldexperiments have indicated a need to educate healthcare users about IoT applicationthat provide advantages in decision making. In addition, our research has explored andevaluated the impacts and factors that influence the development and collaboration byallowing workflows of healthcare stakeholders and by following integrated smart livingplatform and required service protocol.
