The solution of a logistic problem to improve the efficiency of the supply chain in order to achieve an optimal delivery strategy is presented. The solution involves the use of mathematical methods to determine the location of the distribution center in the service area. The use of an optimal delivery strategy leads to a decrease in storage and transportation costs, which has a positive effect on the competitiveness of an enterprise in modern market conditions

The article is devoted to the traditional sphere of application of Geoinformation systems – logistics and use of Geoinformation technologies in the process of preparation of future logisticians on the basis of the offered technique of carrying out laboratory employment with use of vectorization of a rural settlement map. It is claimed that Geoinformation technologies allow to present statistical information on maps and provide tools for processing spatial statistical information with taking into account its qualitative and quantitative properties. The reasons of efficiency of the mechanism of the decision of a logistic problem are defined, some widespread ways of optimization of logistic activity on the basis of the geographical approach are considered and the directions of its optimization are established. The main professionally necessary tasks that represent a valuable part of cartographic literacy of future professionals in the field of logistics are highlighted. Due to the priority of development and detailing the maps of urban settlements, there is a decrease in attention to rural and remoted areas, which, to some extent, creates some inconvenience in designing transport routes to the necessary points of location. The sequence of laboratory work on vectorization of the selected part of the map of the rural settlement is offered. Comparing it with the modes "Satellite" and "Map" and adhering to the selected fixed scale, additional graphic prompts are applied. This work is performed in the training of specialists in the specialty 015.38 Professional Education (Transport) at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical

Introduction. Currently, there is a logistic problem in container transportation technology related to the transportation of empty freight containers, as returnable containers, since an empty container takes up as much space as a full one. A promising direction for solving this problem is the introduction of folding cargo containers. A disadvantage of this approach is the likelihood of injury to the maintenance personnel, which must be inside in the process of folding and unfolding. Problem Statement. The objective of this study is to study the conditions for increasing the safety of preparatory work due to the design of the container, the main feature of which is the ability to realize the effect of functional self-adaptation to working conditions. Theoretical Part. This approach allows us, when folding and unfolding, to balance the changing reactions from the own masses and the moments of its moving body parts by means of the corresponding lockable gas springs. Gas springs connect leading links and driven kinematic chains thereby ensuring that their movement in a given speed mode on the entire trajectory is independent of the speed of the driving link. For the practical implementation of the proposed design solution, the paper presents a general method for the synthesis of an adaptive controller of the container mechanisms in the process of folding and unfolding its moving parts. Conclusion. Testing of the container showed that the effect of functional self-adaptability is quite well implemented along the entire trajectory of the container elements without the use of external lifting mechanisms.

Disasters have been striking human-beings from the beginning of history and their management is a global concern of the international community. Minimizing the impact and consequences of these disasters, both natural and human-made, involves many decision and logistic processes that should be optimized. A crucial logistic problem is the evacuation of the affected population, and the focus of this paper is the planning of supported evacuation of vulnerable people to safe places when necessary. A lexicographic goal programming model for supported evacuation is proposed, whose main novelties are the classification of potential evacuees according to their health condition, so that they can be treated accordingly; the introduction of dynamism regarding the arrival of potential evacuees to the pickup points, according to their own susceptibility about the disaster and the joint consideration of objectives such us number of evacuated people, operation time and cost, among which no trade-off is possible. The performance of the proposed model is evaluated through a realistic case study regarding the earthquake and tsunami that hit Palu (Indonesia) in September 2018.

Incompleteness of processes of structural reformation of Ukrainian economy reveals itself on the regional level. Argument towards the utility of decentralization reform was Ukraine-Europe integration. Decentralization should be viewed as a powerful tool of governmental policy for balanced development of territorial communities. In addition, it’s crucial to remember that the greatest effect will be achieved in a long term. Strategic development of united territorial communities (UTC) includes countless tasks that need to be solved as soon as possible. And organization of effective logistic activity in the region appears to be one of the ways to strengthen regional economy, to improve security level and development. The problem of ensuring stable socio-economic growth of a community is as well a logistic problem. It can be represented as a problem of optimization of flow processes of effective resource usage to achieve balanced processes of creation and consumption of resources in socio-economic system. Logistization of economic relationships on UTC level allows community to ensure better decision making of key tasks of regional management such as creation of optimal strategy to manage structural offers and material flows of social production; optimization of material, financial and informational flows of the region.

During our research and industrial projects, we often meet difficult optimization problems, a lot of variables, a lot of constraints, nonlinear and mostly discrete problems, where the running time can be calculated sometimes in weeks with the usual optimization methods on an average computer. In the most cases in the logistic industry the strongest constraint is the time. The optimizations are running on a usual office configuration and the company accepts the suboptimal solution what the optimization method gives in the appropriate time limit. In this article we will investigate a multilevel method on supply chain problem, to increase the effectivity, improve the solution in a strict time condition.

In this paper, we are interested to an important Logistic problem modelised us optimization problem. It is the fixed charge transportation problem (FCTP) where the aim is to find the optimal solution which minimizes the objective function containig two costs, variable costs proportional to the amount shipped and fixed cost regardless of the quantity transported. To solve this kind of problem, metaheuristics and evolutionary methods should be applied. Genetic algorithms (GAs) seem to be one of such hopeful approaches which is based both on probability operators (Crossover and mutation) responsible for widen the solution space. The different characteristics of those operators influence on the performance and the quality of the genetic algorithm. In order to improve the performance of the GA to solve the FCTP, we propose a new adapted crossover operator called HOPX with the priority-based encoding by hybridizing the characteristics of the two most performent operators, the Order Crossover (OX) and Position-based crossover (PX). Numerical results are presented and discussed for several instances showing the performance of the developed approach to obtain optimal solution in reduced time in comparison to GAs with other crossover operators.
