In this work, the individual difference of the honk effect is explored on two lanes via traffic modeling of the lattice model under Vehicle to X (V2X) environment. We study the impact of individual difference corresponding to honk cases on traffic stability through linear stability analysis for a two-lane highway. Furthermore, the mKdV equation under the lane changing phenomena is conducted via nonlinear analysis. Simulation cases for the early time and longtime impact reveal that individual difference of driving characteristics has a distinct impact on two lanes under the whistling environment.

In this paper, white noise functional solutions of Wick-type stochastic fractional mixed KdV-mKdV equations have been obtained by using the extended G ′ / G -expansion method and the Hermite transform. Firstly, the Hermite transform is used to transform Wick-type stochastic fractional mixed KdV-mKdV equations into deterministic fractional mixed KdV-mKdV equations. Secondly, the exact traveling wave solutions of deterministic fractional mixed KdV-mKdV equations are constructed by applying the extended G ′ / G -expansion method. Finally, a series of white noise functional solutions are obtained by the inverse Hermite transform.

Abstract A novel car-following model is offered based on the cooperative information transmission delayed effect involving headway and velocity under V2X environment. The stability conditions and mKdV equation of the new model are obtained via the linear and nonlinear analysis. Through numerical simulation, the variation trend of headway and hysteresis phenomenon are researched. At the same time, we investigated the additional energy consumption of the vehicle during acceleration. In brief, theoretical analysis and simulation results confirm that the new car-following model based on the cooperative information transmission delayed effect can improve traffic stability and reduce additional energy consumption.

How to solve the numerical solution of nonlinear partial differential equations efficiently and conveniently has always been a difficult and meaningful problem. In this paper, the data-driven quasiperiodic wave, periodic wave, and soliton solutions of the KdV-mKdV equation are simulated by the multilayer physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) and compared with the exact solution obtained by the generalized Jacobi elliptic function method. Firstly, the different types of solitary wave solutions are used as initial data to train the PINNs. At the same time, the different PINNs are applied to learn the same initial data by selecting the different numbers of initial points sampled, residual collocation points sampled, network layers, and neurons per hidden layer, respectively. The result shows that the PINNs well reconstruct the dynamical behaviors of the quasiperiodic wave, periodic wave, and soliton solutions for the KdV-mKdV equation, which gives a good way to simulate the solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations via one deep learning method.

A modified lattice hydrodynamic model is proposed, in which the impact of strong wind and the optimal estimation of flux difference integral are simultaneously analyzed. Based on the control theory, the stability condition is acquired through linear analysis. The modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equation is derived via nonlinear analysis, in order to express a description of the evolution of density waves. Then, numerical simulation is conducted. From the simulation results, strong wind can largely influence the traffic flow stability. The stronger the wind becomes, the more stable the traffic flow is, to some extent. Similarly, the optimal estimation of flux difference integral also contributes to stabilizing traffic flow. The simulation results show no difference compared with the theoretical findings. In conclusion, the new model is able to make the traffic flow more stable.

With the continuous advancement of electronic technology, auto parts manufacturing institutions are gradually applying electronic throttles to automobiles for precise control. Based on the visual angle model (VAM), a car-following model considering the electronic throttle angle of the preceding vehicle is proposed. The stability conditions are obtained through linear stability analysis. By means of nonlinear analysis, the time-dependent Ginzburg–Landau (TDGL) equation is derived first, and then the modified Korteweg-de-Vries (mKdV) equation is derived. The relationship between the two is thus obtained. Finally, in the process of numerical simulations and exploration, it is shown how the visual angle and electronic throttle affect the stability of traffic flow. The simulation results in MATLAB software verify the validity of the model, indicating that the visual angle and electronic throttle can improve traffic stability.

Traffic interruption is one of the important factors resulting in traffic jam. Therefore, a new optimal velocity model is established involving the traffic interruption probability for self-expected velocity. Linear stable condition and mKdV equation are deduced with regard to the self-interruption probability of the current optimal velocity from linear stable analysis and nonlinear analysis, respectively. Moreover, numerical simulation reveals that the traffic self-interruption probability of the current optimal velocity can increase traffic stability, which certifies that the traffic self-interruption probability of the current optimal velocity plays important influences on traffic system.
