Try and V construction is prevalent in British and American English. This construction is found in both spoken and written English, although with different frequencies. The verb in this construction only appears in in the base form. The lack of research on this verb formation leaves many aspects unexplored, one of which is the transitivity of the verb. Therefore, this study is intended to find out the number of arguments informed by this construction by matching the number of arguments to the verb try and the verb following it after the conjunction and. Two verbs were used to test this match, i.e., give and bring, which are three-place predicate verbs, and other two two-place predicate verbs, i.e., see and answer, were used to validate the finding. British National Corpus (BNC) and Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA) were used to collect the data. The findings show that the number of arguments matched the verb following the conjunction and. Therefore, it can be concluded the number of arguments in try and V construction is not unique to this construction, but it is similar to the try to V, where V is the non-finite verb which selects the number of arguments. This result suggests that try and V construction needs to be included in English grammar textbooks in order that non-native speakers can use and understand this rare grammatical rule in appropriate contexts.

Communication strategies include the use of nonverbal or paralinguistic communication strategies such as the use of mime, gestures, facial expressions and eye contact as well as the use of pauses for emphatic expressions could be assimilated. Communication strategies also include the use of verbal communication strategies which need to be learned and developed. One of the verbal communication strategies is a Malaysian classified variety, topic fronting. The issue is that, despite being an achievement communication strategy, topic fronting does not abide by the English language grammatical rule. Thus, a high use of this strategy among ESL learners might affect them adversely especially in academic discourse. This study looked into this strategy among the TESL trainees in two universities from two states in Malaysia. The findings obtained from their focus group discussions (FGD) identified the utilisation of topic fronting in online interactions and methods of overcoming it as well as the inculcation of suitable communication strategies. This study’s findings show a low utilisation of topic fronting (1.142 per thousand words) with the highest theme on the “concession of topic fronting in teaching” at 2.20% average. In the effort to inculcate the TESL trainees’ awareness of their use of topic fronting communication strategy, they need to be involved in active FGDs and be provided with communication strategy trainings on alternative strategies, specifically linguistic strategies like exemplification, circumlocution and paraphrasing.

This study aims to bring out some of the grammatical aspects that were included in the book of Al- Sharif Al- Radhi. It aims to study “Lao” (that is mean = if in Arabic language) in practice, by citing some verses that contain “Lao”. Following the descriptive and analytical approach. Where I put a title for the topic of the research, define the topic that was set for the research, and come to the house that was cited, document it, clarify the meanings of difficult words, while documenting this, and expressing the house, extracting the citation, and clarifying the face of citation in it, and citing the Quranic verses. To support and clarify the grammatical rule. And then I reached the most important results, which proved the following: That lao(if) is one of the condition tools that is brought to hold the causation between two sentences, that is, the link between the content of the two sentences, so that the content of the condition is a reason for the content of the answer. That (if) is used for the second abstinence, which is the recompense for the first abstention, which is the condition; This is the well- known saying of the majority of grammarians, and it was made on the tongues of the analysis. Its grammatical judgment; A conditional is probably not apocopate, unlike a few of them. It is most likely that the two sentences after it are verbs, are two verbs in past in pronunciation and meanings together, or only meaning, that the verb is present and its meaning fluctuates to past while the word remains the same. It is not followed by anything but a verb or an action, an implicit verb explained by an explicit verb after the noun. It is originally used for three basic connotations, which are: 1- The conditional is abstinence and is for comment in the past. 2- Conditional non- abstention: it is for future comment, 3- infinitive: It is synonymous: that the infinitive is in the meaning and the casting, but it is not in the subjunctive. It occurs most often in the past and present tense after: to be affectionate. For each one there is example from the poetry of Al- Sharif Al- Radhi. There are other types of (if) that many scholars have presented in grammatical extensions and linguistic; I referred to it in passing, due to the lack of citation it in the book of Al- Sharif Al- Radi. Among these meanings: wishful, provoking, and offering.

Grammatical controversy is one of the topics that still need serious study and pause from researchers and scholars who study Arabic grammar in order to complete its image, and it is based on a strong leg, and a pillar that runs alongside grammatical applications, especially if it is linked to mental evidence, because it enriches the grammatical lesson with discussion The analysis and evidence and evaluation of evidence, and then assessed, and the statement of strong evidence from the weak, and the student helps to understand the particles that may be overlooked, and what is most evident in the grammatical reason that is the most important part in the measurement, and what is going on around it, and the grammarians were aware of all that the grammatical cause could add to the grammatical lesson and the understanding of grammatical rulings, whether the reason is a party to the measurement, or that the grammatical rule is interpreted (the explanation), and it is not surprising that there is a lot of objection to it in the place of dispute Grammar, and it is known that its response means the issue hesitates between nullity and weakness or anomalies.

The research deals with the issues of grammar in (Al-Mujam Al-Waseet) through its terminologies, the forms of Quranic grammar, and the effect of that on giving the linguistic meaning. One of the objectives to be achieved is: To study the grammatical terms contained in (Al-Mujam Al-Waseet) and connect them to the theory of Quranic grammar, and to identify how to prove the grammatical rule out of the Quranic evidence in (Al-Mujam Al-Waseet). The major terms in the two sections were handled. The importance of the research lies in presenting a grammatical issue in a lexical dictionary besides linking it to what was mentioned in the grammar books. Because of the nature of the research, the descriptive and analytical approach was followed, the nature of the study required that it should be on two parts, as arranged in (Al-Mujam Al-Waseet) “nouns and verbs”. The main terms in the two sections were discussed. A conclusion has been appended to the grammatical issues in which the results of the scientific paper were explained.

The grammatical rule is considered the final model that will be followed construct a meaningful sentence as Arabic used to say. This rule has certain limits that governs the grammatical rule in order not to be confused with another .one of these limits is the condition put by grammarians which is considered an important limit. The condition is also regarded a must to the rule although it is not shared in governing it. Yet, if it is absent, there will not be a grammatical rule. The condition will be very essential if we have similar grammatical rules and it becomes important to put more than one condition to differentiate among these rules for this reasons, the condition is important for the grammarians.
