The article presents the features of construction and modeling of the system of operational remote monitoring of the technical condition of the truck in operation, and ensuring the interaction of monitoring data of the technical condition of the vehicle, trailer, mode of operation and rest of the driver and physical condition of the driver. The peculiarity of the vehicle monitoring information system equipped with the means of registration, mode of work and rest of the driver and physical condition of the driver is that it considers the features of remote inspection of the mode of work and rest of the driver and physical condition of the driver in the modern information and communication complex. means. The on-board intelligent diagnostic complex allows to measure in the conditions of operation a large number of parameters of the vehicle with the internal combustion engine and to carry out their registration on the remote computer with use of possibilities of the claimed method. As a result of forming a model of information system for monitoring the technical condition of the vehicle, it is possible to simultaneously monitor the parameters of the vehicle, provide remote inspection of driver's work and rest, physical condition of the driver, environmental performance of the vehicle, speeding. The process of formation and analysis of information structures of information-analytical system of operative control of technical condition of vehicle in operating conditions (Systems of Operative Control of a Technical Condition of the Vehicle in Operating Conditions) is considered. The effectiveness of the remote monitoring information system is enhanced by the possibility of prompt adjustment of the level of negative impact of motor vehicles on the environment and road infrastructure.

Abstract The article considers the method for controlling the ferromagnetic component content in slurry flow by ultrasonic and magnetic measurements. One of the basic factors determining the efficiency of magnetic separators at iron ore concentration plants is the quality of distribution of the ground ore into the product containing the ferromagnetic component and the waste rock. Due to the fact that in most cases, magnetic separators extract minerals with strongly magnetic properties, it is essential to find the magnetic component content in the input ore and products of its distribution in order to improve control over the technological process. Currently, low accuracy and reliability make existing means of operative control over the ferromagnetic component content in the slurry flow inefficient. Density of slurry is one of the primary disturbing factors affecting the accuracy of measurements, and this fact determines the necessity of measuring this parameter while controlling the ferromagnetic component content. Combined methods of measurements are a promising trend in designing sensors of useful component content in the slurry flow. The article describes the method for controlling the ferromagnetic component content in slurry flow by ultrasonic and magnetic measurements.

Recent studies have indicated that extracellular vesicles (EV) may play a role in the pathogenesis of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). EV have been identified as potential biomarkers of disease severity and prognosis in other pulmonary diseases. We sought to characterize the EV phenotype within ARDS patient broncho-alveolar lavage fluid (BAL), and to determine whether BAL EV could be utilized as a potential biomarker in ARDS. EV from the BAL of sepsis patients with ARDS, sepsis patients without ARDS, and post-operative control patients were characterized with regards to size, number and cell of origin. ARDS patients had significantly higher numbers of CD14+/CD81+ monocyte-derived BAL EV than sepsis patients without ARDS (p=0.022). CD14+/CD81+ BAL EV numbers were significantly higher in those ARDS patients who died during the 30 days following ICU admission (p=0.027). Also, across all sepsis patients there was an association between CD66b+/CD63+ neutrophil-derived BAL EV and increased BAL IL-8 concentration, increased alveolar neutrophil apoptosis and decreased alveolar macrophage efferocytosis. Thus, CD14+/CD81+ BAL EV are a potential biomarker for disease severity and mortality in ARDS. These findings provide the impetus to further elucidate the contribution of these EV to ARDS pathogenesis.

Background: The purpose of this paper is to delineate a technique of using a 23G, single, sutureless transconjunctival pars plana sclerotomy to facilitate anterior segment surgery in eyes with increased positive vitreous pressure (PVP) ascribe to predisposing or intraoperative factors. Methods: We have implemented this technique in five eyes when PVP was anticipated before the surgery because of risk factors or it was encountered during anterior segment surgery. Different case scenarios in which PVP occurs during the surgery comprising phacolytic glaucoma, corneal tear repair combined with cataract surgery with IOL in a case with traumatic corneal injury, anterior capsule rupture and secondary glaucoma, Trabeculectomy in case of uveitic glaucoma, routine phacoemulsification cataract surgery with PVP encountered during surgery were addressed by using this technique. Results: The new technique outlined by the authors consists of passing sutureless 23 G trocar cannula which enables controlled and gradual efflux of clear watery fluid, resulting in passive vitreous decompression with minimal risk of vitreous traction and retinal breaks. Once PVP is reduced, anterior segment surgery can be safely completed without risk of developing devastating complications. Conclusions: This sutureless single port pars plana trocar cannula technique is minimally invasive, safe, effective and fast technique which can cause reduction of PVP intraoperatively in a controlled and graded manner, thereby minimizing complication rates in difficult case scenarios.

AbstractAcute compartment syndrome of the lower leg following computer navigated primary total knee arthroplasty is rare but potentially devastating. This could be triggered by a setting of the bicortical tibial navigation pin. It is essential to take care during the operation, and to implement close post-operative control, especially if there are risk factors or nerve blocks.

BACKGROUND: Many countries report decreasing on the number of hospital visit even on the emergency cases. AIM: This study aims to reveal the important data on how big the impact of coronavirus-19 pandemic on orthopedic services in two Government’s tertiary-referral hospitals. METHODS: This research is a comparison study to measure the trend of orthopedic services, the monthly orthopedic surgical load and outpatient visit were examined during the period of March to May 2020 (the early pandemic period) then compared to the same period in the 2019. RESULTS: The lowest number of outpatient visits occurred during May 2020 with 715 total number of outpatient visit. The lowest number of orthopedic surgery occurred during May 2020 with 167 total number of orthopedic surgery. Significant decrease of outpatient visits is recorded in 3 months of early pandemic period compared to the same period in 2019 (p < 0.005). Regarding the orthopedic surgical loads, the data show significant decrease in number of orthopedic surgeries in early pandemic period compared to those months in 2019 (p < 0.005). The largest declines were in visits for post-operative control patient (–179), spinal problem (–127,33), and osteoarthritis (–91,33). CONCLUSION: There was a significant difference in outpatient visit and orthopedic surgery number in the early pandemic period compared to the period before the pandemic occur. The largest drops in outpatient visit were in visits for post–operative control patient and spinal problem.

Ocular surface neoplasm(OSSN) represent a rare but broad spectrum of disease, including mild dysplasia on one end of the spectrum and invasive Squamous cell carcinoma(SCC) on the other. Thus, the diagnosis completely depends on histopathological examination of the lesion. The incidence of ocular surface neoplasia is strongly associated with factors like solar ultraviolet radiation, HIV and human papilloma virus(HPV) infections. Most lesions occur at the limbus within the interpalpebral fissure particularly the nasal side. Their importance lies in the fact that they mimic benign lesions like pterygium or even chronic conjunctivitis and thus can be misinterpreted and inadequately treated. Red eye and ocular irritation are the most common presenting symptoms. No tumor related deaths or metastasis are generally seen. Surgery with intra-operative control of surgical margins and adjunctive chemotherapy, immunotherapy and cryotherapy result in good tumor control rates, with promising results in aggressive, recurrent and large tumors.
