Pendidikan dan Ekonomi Orang Tua terhadap Kemampuan Literasi Anak Usia Dini di Masa Pandemi

Children's literacy skills are related to language skills in writing and reading. During pandemic times parents are required to meet facilities and guide children at home. The education and economics of parents play a role in this situation. The purpose of this study is to find out the educational and economic influence of parents on children's literacy skills. This research used quantitative research. This research used a questionnaire instrument, observation, and interviews in data collection. The results of this study indicate: (1) the influence of parental education on the literacy ability of early childhood, (2) the influence of the economy of parents on the literacy ability of early childhood, and (3) the influence of parents' education and economy on early childhood literacy skills.

Analyzing, Modeling, and Utilizing Observation Series Correlation in Capital Markets

In this paper, we consider the task of the analysis, modeling, and application of dependencies between asset quotes at various capital markets. As an example, we study the dependency between financial instrument observation series in the currency and stock markets. Our work intends to give a theoretical basis to asset management strategies that estimate an asset’s price via regression, taking into account its correlated assets in various markets. Furthermore, we provide a way to increase the estimate quality using an evolutionary algorithm.

Oral Presentation to Improve the Students’ Speaking Skill of the Seventh Grade Students at SMPN 35 Surabaya

The aim of the study was to improve the students’ ability in speaking skill by applying Classroom Action Research (CAR) using a collaborative design. The procedures of the study consist of five steps, namely: preliminary study, planning, implementing the plan, observing the action, and reflecting on the action. The study was conducted in two cycles. The study was conducted at SMPN 35 Surabaya. It was applied in the first semester of the academic year 2020/2021. The subjects of the study were the ninth-grade students comprising 41 students. The data of the study were obtained from the following research instrument: observation and test. The improvement was indicated by the increasing of the students’ mean scores of speaking skill test administered at the end of students’ means score in preliminary study was indicated by the increasing of the students’ means score in preliminary study was 6.95 in the first cycle and 7.21 in the second cycle. Meanwhile, the percentage of increasing was from 46% (first cycle) to 75% (second cycle).

Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Ceramah Berbasis Internet Bagi Siswa Kelas XI

Learning media includes alternative options that can represent what is less capable teachers speak through language, so that product embodiment can be expressed with the presence of learning media. This research aimed to produce an Internet-based learning medium that could help students write lecture texts according to aspects and proper linguistic structure. The text structure of the lecture included correct sentences, effectiveness of sentences, and punctuations. This research applied R&D (Research and Development) with a descriptive analysis technique. The development steps on the research included the preliminary stages or the analyses of students’ needs and characteristics, the implementation stage of development (design draft) and the validation test phase by expert lecturers. The data were collected using observations with observation sheets as the instrument and documentation with data cards as the instrument. Observation sheets and data cards were deployed to determine students' writing mistakes on the effectiveness of the students' sentences and punctuations. Based on the error, it was needed the supporting tool through media Blogger Kahoot. Blogger Kahoot media referred to two tools having an association in the learning process. It represented a Blogger media as the material delivery and a Kahoot media as the evaluation stage. BloggerKahoot media had been validated by expert lecturers with the eligibility of content, language eligibility, presentation eligibility, and grafapia eligibility. The results of the validation demonstrated that the Blogger Kahoot learning media was worthy to use

SELF-REGULATED LEARNING MODEL WITH MIND MAP TO IMPROVE STUDENTS COGNITION AND METACOGNITION SKILLS IN SOLVING CHEMICAL PROBLEMS

The research has been conducted on the application of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) model with mind map in solving chemical problem on Hydrolysis Salt material in class XI MIPA . This study aims to improve (1) implementation SRL model with mind map in classroom, (2) student activity, (3) learning outcomes of cognition, and (4) metacognition skills. The study used a classroom action research design consisting of two cycles with four learning meetings and two evaluation meetings. The subjects of this study were students of class XI MIPA 6 SMAN 7 Banjarmasin with 36 students. Instrument of research in the form of metacognition skill and cognition test instrument, observation sheet of teacher and student activity, and questionnaire of metacognition skill. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis of quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that there was an increase (1) teacher activity from good category to be very good, (2) student activity from active category become very active, (3) mastery of cognition learning result from 44,44% to 88,89%, and (4) metacognition skills of the category began to develop into a well-developed.

Instrument observation strategy for a new generation of three-axis-stabilized geostationary meteorological satellites from China

The Fengyun-4 (FY-4) satellite series is a new generation of geostationary meteorological satellites from China. The newly adopted three-axis-stabilized attitude-control platform can increase observation efficiency and flexibility while bringing great challenges for image navigation as well as integrated observation mode design. Considering the requirements of earth observation, navigation and calibration as well as observation flexibility, instrument observation strategies are proposed. These include the earth, the moon, stars, cold space, blackbody and diffuser observations on which the instruments' in-orbit daily observations must be based. The most complicated part is the star observation strategy, while navigation precision is dependent on in-orbit star observations. A flexible, effective, stable and automatic star observation strategy directly influences star data acquisition and navigation precision. According to the requirement of navigation, two specific star observation strategies for the two main instruments on board FY-4A were proposed to be used in the operational ground system. The strategies have been successfully used in FY-4A in-orbit tests for more than a year. Both the simulation results and in-orbit application results are given, including instrument observation strategies, star observation strategies and moon observation tasks, to demonstrate the validity of the proposed observation strategies, which lay important foundations for the instruments' daily operation.

EFEKTIFITAS KAMUS BAHASA ARAB BERBASIS APLIKASI ANDROID DALAM MENERJEMAHKAN QIRAAH

This research aims to know how Arabic dictionary affective in translating Qiraah by using android application. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Meanwhile, the population of this research is the second semester academic year 2016/2017 with purposive sampling as a technique to collect the sample is PS 6. The data were collected by using test, observation, and interview. The instrument of this research is performance instrument, observation guidance, and interview guidance. The data collection have done from the result of this research would be analyzed by using qualitative data analyzed. The result of this research showed that 1). Based on the performance of the students in general were able to translate Qiraah that have been prepared. 2). The result of interview showed that the students easy to find out the meaning of each mufradat so that by using this method in translating the Arabic text at the previous meeting. As the result, this application is very helpful in translating.
