Abstract Process diagrams of are widely used to develop conceptual database models, in particular to establish the types of relationships between process elements. For some types of process diagrams, methods have been developed for converting them into sets of relationships. However, there are objective reasons that make it difficult to convert process diagrams into adequate and complete sets of relationships.

This research aims to increase the revenue sector of the creative industry by increasing the number of new entrepreneurs created, especially on the MSME scale, as well as to help prospective entrepreneurs when planning to open a business sector that has recommended by the circumstances of the surrounding environment. This research model is devoted to the creation of new entrepreneurs that need for allied governments and the community. The results of the research that has done that has obtained a model that consists of hardware and software requirements, system architecture using web technology, database models, and calculation models used in providing recommendations. These research models have been validated by stakeholders so that they can implement at a later stage of research.

This paper considers the construction of principles and the synthesis of a system of effective control over the processes of synchronization of generator sets (GSs) that form a part of the distributed MP-control systems for complex ship technical systems and complexes (STS and C). The tasks of synchronization have been set, the process and database models have been built, the system configurations have been defined. Based on the use of resultant functions, we have determined stages in solving the tasks of control over the frequency adjustment synchronization in a hierarchical sequence. The performance analysis of the STS and C control elements has been carried out; the use of the integrated optimization criteria and dual management principles has been proposed. Practical techniques to manage the GS synchronization have been given. We have solved the problem of high-speed control over the frequency of synchronized objects based on the principles of adjustment. That has made it possible to determine in advance the moments of GS enabling under the deterministic and stochastic statement of the synchronization task. The results of the experimental study into the GS synchronization processes are given; the effectiveness of the proposed GS control has been proven. The principles underlying the construction of procedures to control the GS composition when using the methods of "rigid" and "flexible" thresholds have made it possible to define the optimization criteria and implement a control law that satisfied the condition for an extremum, which is an indicator of the feasibility of the set goal and takes into consideration the limitations of control influences. We managed to design a system in the class of adaptive control systems by the appropriate decomposition of the system's elements by splitting a synchronization task into the task on performance and the task on control under the required conditions. The given examples of the processes where the synchronization failed while using standard synchronizer control algorithms, as well as processes of successful GS synchronization when applying the proposed synchronizer dual control algorithms, have confirmed the reliability of the main scientific results reported here.

The appearance of the “big data” phenomenon has meant a change in the storage and information processing needs. This new context is characterized by 1) enormous amounts of information are available in heterogeneous formats and types, 2) information must be processed almost in real time, and 3) data models evolve periodically. Relational databases have limitations to respond to these needs in an optimal way. For these reasons, some companies such as Google or Amazon decided to create new database models (different from the relational model) that solve the needs raised in the context of big data without the limitations of relational databases. These new models are the origin of the so-called NonSQL databases. Currently, NonSQL databases have been constituted as an alternative mechanism to the relational model and its use is widely extended. The main objective of this chapter is to introduce the NonSQL databases.

The article presents an approach aimed at automatically deriving the initial conceptual database model from a set of business process models. The approach proposes the incremental synthesis of the target model by iteratively composing the partial conceptual database models that are derived from the models contained in the source set. The approach is implemented by the AMADEOS tool, which is the first online web-based tool enabling the automatic derivation of the conceptual database model from a set of business process models. The experimental evaluation proves that the implemented approach enables effective automatic derivation of the initial conceptual database model.

Abstract Mining engineering is the most dangerous peace-time profession in the world. Primary Organization for coal mining in India is Coal India and extensive research has been conducted to improve performance. Development computerized methods emphasize better project scheduling, and converting scheduling and monitoring of a project in common package format for the multi-projects of a company The authors have also developed models for cost benefit analysis of improved systems of mining operations on ground realities and database models. The authors have developed for viable mining data-based computer methods in 14 original models, of which few are detailed for lack of space. India has 320 billion tonnes of coal reserve and it is 7 per cent of the reserve of the world. The energy consumption in India is about one-third of the world average and 60 per cent of installed capacity of energy in the country is based on thermal plants.

Recent years, many fuzzy or probabilistic database models have been built for representing and handling imprecise or uncertain information of objects in real-world applications. However, relational database models combining the relevance and strength of both fuzzy set and probability theories have rarely been proposed. This paper introduces a new relational database model, as a hybrid one combining consistently fuzzy set theory and probability theory for modeling and manipulating uncertain and imprecise information, where the uncertainty and imprecision of a relational attribute value are represented by a fuzzy probabilistic triple, the computation and combination of relational attribute values are implemented by using the probabilistic interpretation of binary relations on fuzzy sets, and the elimination of redundant data is dealt with by coalescing e-equivalent tuples. The basic concepts of the classical relational database model are extended in this new model. Then the relational algebraic operations are formally defined accordingly. A set of the properties of the relational algebraic operations is also formulated and proven.
