The repair of sphincter injury following vaginal delivery is often inadequate or the injury was undetected. The consequence is fecal incontinence. In this descriptive study, five patients underwent sphincter repair by the “overlap” technique. Evaluation of postoperative outcomes at 3 and 12 months showed that the Wexner fecal incontinence score at 17 - 20 score decreased to 0 - 6 score. Transperineal ultrasound showed that all five patients healed well. Measurement of anal manometry, functional anal canal length, resting anal pressures and squeezing anal pressures was better after surgery.

The synthesis of nanomaterials has been reported by many researchers using different methods. One of the methods that can be used with perfect pureness and have less pollution in the synthesized materials results is the vapor phase growth technique (VPGT). Several types of nano shapes materials were reported such as nanoparticles, nanorods, nano triangular, nanosphere, and nanocrystal. The synthesis method has a fundamental process where the nanomaterials evaporated and condensed based on the temperature difference. There are three important variables, i.e., stochiometric ratio of source materials, temperature and baking time. The synthesis was occured in the quartz tube and sealed in the vacuum condition. This create the material was synthesis in pure and isolated conditions. The application of the nanomaterials synthesized via Horizontal Vapor Phase Growth (HVPG) can be implemented in anti-pathogen, anti-bacterial, gas sensing and coating applications.

Background and Objectives: To assess the impact that pharmacist education has on proper inhaler technique and adherence in a teaching clinic. Methods: This was prospective, non-randomized, pre-test/post-test study. Patients were 18 years or older, had a diagnosis of asthma or COPD, and prescribed at least 1 inhaled medication. Initial visits consisted of a baseline asthma control test (ACT) or COPD assessment test (CAT), the Test of Adherence to Inhalers (TAI), and a baseline inhaler technique evaluation. The pharmacist then educated the patient. Then inhaler technique was assessed again (post-education inhaler technique evaluation #1). Follow-up visits occurred 4 to 8 weeks later. ACT or CAT and TAI test were administered and inhaler technique was assessed again (post-education inhaler technique #2). The primary outcome was the comparison of the percentage of correct steps performed from baseline to post-education inhaler technique evaluation #1 and from baseline to post-education inhaler technique evaluation #2. Results: Eighteen patients were included, with a mean age of 58 years old. Over half had asthma, were female and African American. There was a significant difference in inhaler technique from baseline to post-education inhaler evaluation #1 and from baseline to post-education inhaler evaluation #2. The most common step missed was no exhalation before inhalation. There was no significant difference when comparing the individual and overall TAI test scores from initial to follow up visit. Conclusions: This study supports pharmacist-led inhaler technique education.

The rapid growth of Internet technologies and availability of web tools created an opportunity to develop a robust and user-friendly web service model for medical care, and it demands urgent solutions as the uncertainty of disease spread threaten humanity. With changing Quality of Service principles, many existing web services need to offer specific medical services that suit practical needs. The provision of an effective service selection and recommendation features that best meet the user's requirements will be able to improve the quality of web service model. The Quality of Service metrics should be calculated and analyzed before optimizing a recommendation technique. Evaluation therefore forms an important part of the process for designing and implementing recommendation systems. Further, predicting Quality of Service indicators accurately from historical background dataset under complex scenarios and combination of conditions is useful. In this perspective, lots of web service methods are studied, and this paper presents our comprehensive analysis mainly focusing on the development of better web service based framework for medical applications.

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan, problematika, dan solusi  evaluasi ranah afektif siswa pada pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum 2013 di MTs Negeri 2 Kotamobagu. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian yaitu: 1)  Implementasi evaluasi ranah afektif di MTs Negeri 2 Kotamobagu secara umum sudah dilaksanakan namun belum maksimal 2) Problematika evaluasi ranah afektif di MTs Negeri 2 Kotamobagu, guru belum memahami dengan baik tentang pengukuran ranah afektif siswa, sehingga penilaian hanya berdasarkan pengamatan di dalam kelas, tanpa ada catatan tentang sikap siswa selama pembelajaran. 3) Solusi terhadap problematika evaluasi ranah afektif siswa di MTs Negeri 2 Kotamobagu berkaitan dengan teknik evaluasi, maka kepala madrasah menginstruksikan kepada guru untuk membuat laporan  evaluasi sikap. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan berkaitan dengan pelanggaran terhadap ranah afektif siswa, maka guru melakukan bimbingan terhadap siswa di MTs Negeri 2 Kotamobagu. Abstract : Research objectives to analyze the application,  problems, and solutions  to evaluation domain affective on learning based Kurikuum 2013 in MTs Negeri 2 Kotamobagu. Using techniques data collection observation, interviews and documents. The results are:  1) The implantation of the evaluation affective domain in MTS Negeri 2 Kotamobagu in generalization have been implementation, but unoptimized.  2) The problems of evaluation affective domain in MTs Negeri 2 Kotamobagu is teachers understand about measuring affective domain studen, that is implementation of assessment base direct observation in the classroom, without have note a students on the learning process. 3) The Solutions of problems to evaluation affective domain students in MTs Negeri 2 Kotamobagu relating to a technique evaluation, so the head madrasah instructed the teachers to make a report evaluation of attitude. To solve the problem pertaining to a violation of domain affective students, the teacher do guidance of students in MTs Negeri 2 Kotamobagu.Kata Kunci : Evaluasi, Ranah Kognitif, Kurikulum 2013
