New Linguistic Behaviors in the Eldest Generation of Village InhabitantsThe objective of the paper is analysis of the eldest village inhabitants’ linguistic behaviors which result from the universalizing influence of general culture on folk language. The contemporary globalizing tendencies which are strongly reflected in rural environments result in the fact that the eldest generation is forced to include new words in their own dialectal vocabulary that refer to modern realities that often do not fall within the scope of the cultural, social and customary sphere of rural communities. The materials, which include verbal behaviors collected in 2015–2020 in the rural commune of Babice in Chrzanów district, indicate the villagers’ lack of linguistic competence in terms of knowledge of the newest layer of general Polish. This is because, in the verbal behaviors of the members of the eldest age group, we can find numerous forms of deviation, and new words are often pronounced using traditional dialectal phonetics. Morphological transformations also occur. The reasons for these transformations include articulation difficulties combined with etymological unclearness. New words are sometimes unclear to elder people, which is why semantic shifts often occur when transferring general Polish units into the dialectal code.

Objective: We aimed to analyze the related risk factors for blood transfusion and establish a blood transfusion risk model during the per-ioperative period of posterior lumbar interbody fusion (PLIF). It could provide a reference for clinical prevention and reduction of the risk of blood transfusion during the peri-operative period. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 4,378 patients who underwent PLIF in our hospital. According to whether they were transfused blood or not, patients were divided into the non-blood transfusion group and the blood transfusion group. We collected variables of each patient, including age, sex, BMI, current medical history, past medical history, surgical indications, surgical information, and preoperative routine blood testing. We randomly divide the whole population into training group and test group according to the ratio of 4:1. We used the multivariate regression analyses get the independent predictors in the training set. The nomogram was established based on these independent predictors. Then, we used the AUC, calibration curve and DCA to evaluate the nomogram. Finally, we verified the performance of the nomogram in the validation set. Results: Three or more lumbar fusion segments, preoperative low hemoglobin, with hypertension, lower BMI, and elder people were risk factors for blood transfusion. For the training and validation sets, the AUCs of the nomogram were 0.881 (95% CI: 0.865–0.903) and 0.890 (95% CI: 0.773–0.905), respectively. The calibration curve shows that the nomogram is highly consistent with the actual observed results. The DCA shows that the nomogram has good clinical application value. The AUC of the nomogram is significantly larger than the AUCs of independent risk factors in the training and validation set. Conclusion: Three or more lumbar fusion segments, preoperative low hemoglobin, with hypertension, lower BMI, and elder people are associated with blood transfusion during the peri-operative period. Based on these factors, we established a blood transfusion nomogram and verified that it can be used to assess the risk of blood transfusion after PLIF. It could help clinicians to make clinical decisions and reduce the incidence of peri-operative blood transfusion.

Elderly abuse represents a whole of actions that include mistreatment, intentionally or not, or neglect against elder people. Mistreatment and neglect may be presence as restrictions, lack of basic care, poor hygiene, poor work conditions and lack of qualificated careers. Poor hygiene is the most serious problem of oral health on clependent elderly. In this population, oral hygiene must be provided. However, it has been constantly neglected, resulting in oral health collapse. Thc aim of this work is discuss some concepts and classify elderly abuse and neglect, list hypothesis of risk factors, review the legislation and identify the difficulties of caregivers. Furthermore, this study wants to stress the necessity of dentist's attention and responsibility of this issue. Dentists must be aware on this reality due to the high prevalence of oral health problems and needs in this group, emphasizing their social responsibility. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a communicable disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). It was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan province, China and has resulted in an ongoing pandemic. Most people infected with the Covid-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring any special treatment or medicines. But elder people, who has some past medical history problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer etc. are more likely to develop serious illness and want some medical treatment to cure the disease. In this paper, we experimented with applying a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm by using a dataset of 760 Chest X-ray images , some of them are covid positive images and remaining are covid negative images. Among 760 images, we have used 80% of Chest X-ray images for training purposes and 20% for testing purposes. After completing the process, we got the accuracy of 92.84%.

The technology of An Autonomous "follow me" platform for carrying and moving objects has gone through rapid technological advancements. Numerous follow me robots are accessible with various running advancements, yet the expense is high. These robots are not user-friendly and therefore not much successful. In this research, a fully automated, economical, fast, efficient and smart “Follow Me” robot is designed. This robot has the ability to carry luggage or move objects from one place to another place. It will help pregnant women and elder people to carry their things. An autonomous follow me robot has two working modes, the first one is the default mode and the second one is Bluetooth mode or remote mode. In default mode, the user will walk in the front of the ultrasonic sensor and it will follow the user until it goes beyond the range. In Bluetooth mode, the customer needs to interact with the robot with the help of a mobile application. The customer by then has the Graphical User Interface (GUI) to control the robot. This framework enables the client to vigorously communicate with the robot at various dimensions of the control (left, right, forward, backward, and stop). The application interface is built as simple as it can be used by a wide range of patients.
