Metamorphoses and transformations of Protestant ritual in the socio-cultural space of Ukraine since the independence period

The purpose of the article is to analyze the methodological aspects of the application of the concepts of "metamorphosis" and "transformation" in the context of the analysis of modern religious activity, in particular Protestant religious practices. The methodology consists of the application of synergetic, axiological, historical, sociological, religious, and culturological approaches. Both: traditional methods of scientific research (analysis and synthesis, system method) and phenomenological and interpretive methods were used to reveal the peculiarities of Ukrainian Protestantism. The scientific novelty of the work is to identify the socio-cultural potential of ritual practices of Ukrainian Protestant communities. Conclusions. The analysis examines the impact of the metamorphosis and transformation of the Ukrainian Protestant ritual on the social and cultural space of Ukraine since its independence, which on the other hand, is also undergoing transformations due to historical and political changes in society that require simple answers to critical life questions which form the national value context. Online Shop Dalam Perspektif Ekonomi Islam

This study aims to further discuss the problems caused by the existence of online buying and selling transactions in online shops in the perspective of Islamic economics based on the Al-Quran Surah An-Nisaa verse 29 and Al-Mutaffifin verse 1. library research with interpretive methods used in this research are maudu'i (thematic) research methods and tahlili (analytic) interpretation methods. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that an Online shop or online buying and selling place is allowed in an Islamic economic perspective as long as it is based on the principle of consensual or voluntary consent from both parties, namely from the seller and the buyer and there is no cheating or fraud, so that each party gets what they want. rights that should be accepted in full are not reduced and their rights are harmed or oppressed.Keyword: Online shop, Islamic EconomicAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas lebih jauh masalah-masalah yang ditimbulkan dengan keberadaan transaksi jual beli secara daring yang ada di online shop dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam berdasarkan Al-Quran Surat An-Nisaa Ayat 29 dan Al-Mutaffifin ayat 1. Introduction of Intercultural Communication Studies into the Curriculum of Pedagogical University

The article presents the results of the performed research of implementing the intercultural communication studies into the future teachers’ professional training. The relevance of the research is proved by the strong need to prepare today’s youth for reaching mutual understanding and avoiding barriers in communication. The purpose of the research is to substantiate the need of introducing the intercultural communication studies into the curriculum of future teachers training for enhancing their intercultural communication competence. The analysis of the structure of the intercultural communication competence is carried out, based on which the content of the intercultural communication course is developed. The research includes three stages. The methods which are applied in the research are theoretical methods for analysing the literature, modelling for substantiating the course content, and interpretive methods for assessing the research results. The article covers the main topics of the course, aimed at gaining culture knowledge and developing intercultural skills, behaviour abilities and attitude. To enhance future teachers’ intercultural competence, two methodological approaches are used: social scientific approach and interpretive methods. The effectiveness of the course is proved through measuring the level of language skills, assessed by Standardised test Cambridge English First, and behaviour abilities, assessed by a number of direct and indirect methods.

Methodology of the Commentary Makhzan Al-‘Irfān by Lady Amin (Regarding the Interpretation of the Verses Related to “Women” in the Qur'an)

This descriptive-analytical research is devoted to the review of the methodology and interpretive approach of Lady Nusrat Begum Amin in her commentary of Makhzan al-‘Irfān. The results show that Lady Amin, considering various narrations that confirm and encourage the use of the Qur’an in interpretation, has widely used the interpretive method of Qur'an by Qur'an. Narrations, as the second source of interpreting the Qur'an, have played a significant role in this commentary as well. In addition, the use of the source of reason (aql) and rational arguments is also often seen in the interpretation of verses to the extent that sometimes the commentator prefers the rule of reason to the appearance (zāhir) of the verse and commentators’ opinions. In this commentary, sufficient attention has been paid to the role of Arabic literature for interpreting the Qur'an, since in its different places, morphological and syntactic issues have been used extensively and the interpreter sometimes mentions the use of rhetorical methods in the verses. There are also many philosophical issues in this book, which itself proves the author's profound philosophical knowledge. The commentator has also tried to discover the esoteric meanings of the verses of the Qur'an, noting that in discovering the esoteric meanings, she has paid attention to the appearance of the verses and has taken very cautious steps in this field. In this commentary, theological and doctrinal issues are also discussed in detail along with some verses. Theological discussions are in some cases with an independent title and in some cases in the form of questions and answers. In her commentary, Lady Amin has dealt with jurisprudential issues very little and only for a brief explanation of the verses. Considering the prominent role of different interpretive methods and approaches, her interpretation can be considered as a comprehensive one. In interpreting the verses related to women in the Qur'an, Lady Amin has emphasized paying attention to the types of inherent and non-intrinsic differences between men and women. He stressed the need to pay attention to these differences in providing a correct interpretation of verses related to women.

Contextualization of The Istiṣḥāb Wa Sadd Al-Żarī’ah Towards Islamic Economic Practices in Indonesia

Istiṣḥāb wa sadd al-żarī’ah are two methods of legal decision making in Islam among other methods, whose application always rests on the concept of maṣlahāt. This study describes how the application of istiṣḥāb wa sadd al-’arī’ah to contemporary economic problems in Indonesia. This research is a research library. Data sources are literature or come from various literatures, including books, journals, newspapers, documents, etc. which are relevant to the contextualization of istiṣḥāb wa sadd al-żarī’ah in Islamic economic practices in Indonesia. Data collection techniques in this study used editing, organizing, and finding. Data analysis in this study used deductive and interpretive methods. The results showed that the method of istiṣḥāb wa sadd al-żarī’ah is still very relevant for contextualizing Islamic law in Indonesia in the midst of efforts to oppose social change in facing the challenges of the times, especially in fields related to social and economic practices in Indonesia. Its application still refers to the objectives of Islamic law (maqāṣid al-syarī’ah) and always takes into account the values of mafsadāt and maṣlahāt in istinbaṭ al-hukm.

Potential and Obstacles in the Implementation of Independent Learning Practice During the Covid-19 Pandemic for Public Senior High School in Denpasar City

This article intends to examine the potential and obstacles to implementing the national education program for the practice of independent learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and its implications for students, the learning process in the classroom, and school institutions in SMA Negeri 3 and SMA 8 Denpasar. Nationally, the objective of this independent learning policy is to improve the quality of learning and the quality of graduates nationally by applying the principle of autonomy in school management based on the potential of the school concerned. Essentially, the practice of independent learning includes four main points, namely (1) replacing USBN into school exams; (2) replacement of the national exam into a minimum competency assessment and character survey; (3) implementation of 1 sheet of RPP; and (4) the application of zoning-based new student admissions. The data collection methods in this study were observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies. Data were analyzed using qualitative-interpretive methods.

The Perennial Philosophy in the Bhagavadgita: Where the East and the West Meet

This article explores and interprets the fundamentals of perennial philosophy that the Bhagavadgita (the BG). The perennial philosophy of the BG crystalizes the first cause of reality. It leads to the zenith of knowledge, exhibiting how all the dualities and contradictions that run in this gross world merge into postulates the oneness of eternal reality. The eternity of the truth and first cause is in the integration and totality of oneness that radiates the entire creation. Western philosophy and science also make the same quest and disseminate the ideas and theories that resemble the perennial philosophy of the BG. In this regard, the entirety of perennial philosophy invites a systematic study. Having been compiled a few centuries before Christ, it remains to revisit how the BG resounds the rhythms of perennial philosophy propounded in the East and the West. This article has applied the qualitative approach. Exploratory and interpretive methods have been implemented to relate the ideas of perennial philosophy both from the BG and Western metaphysics.
