This review deals with the inconsistency of inner dark matter density profiles in dwarf galaxies, known as the cusp–core problem. In particular, we aim to focus on gas-poor dwarf galaxies. One of the most promising solutions to this cold dark matter small-scale issue is the stellar feedback, but it seems to be only designed for gas-rich dwarfs. However, in the regime of classical dwarfs, this core mechanism becomes negligible. Therefore, it is required to find solutions without invoking these baryonic processes as dark matter cores tend to persist even for these dwarfs, which are rather dark-matter-dominated. Here, we have presented two categories of solutions. One consists of creating dark matter cores from cusps within cold dark matter by altering the dark matter potential via perturbers. The second category gathers solutions that depict the natural emergence of dark matter cores in alternative theories. Given the wide variety of solutions, it becomes necessary to identify which mechanism dominates in the central region of galaxies by finding observational signatures left by them in order to highlight the true nature of dark matter.

The number of domestic violence is 50% out of violence against woman cases in Indonesia. This condition is intriguing to analyse. There must be a reason behind rising number of crimes related to inequality of women position in the society. One of the ways that can be used to reflect on this subject is through theatre. It is a work of art that can be used to discuss and inspire a necessary social change or social agenda. Therefore, applying textual analysis method on A Story of Wounds, a play by Jessie Monika, I would like to find the reasons behind that inequality to find the core problem of domestic violence as portrayed in ASoW. I utilize Bourdieu’s capital, habitus and field theory to prove that inequality between the wife and the husband, the deeply rooted patriarchy values create imbalance power that open opportunity for domestic violence toward women.

This review aims at proposing to the field an overview of the Cusp-core problem, including a discussion of its advocated solutions, assessing how each can satisfactorily provide a description of central densities. Whether the Cusp-core problem reflects our insufficient grasp on the nature of dark matter, of gravity, on the impact of baryonic interactions with dark matter at those scales, as included in semi-analytical models or fully numerical codes, the solutions to it can point either to the need for a paradigm change in cosmology, or to to our lack of success in ironing out the finer details of the ΛCDM paradigm.

This paper studies how Ishida Sui’s Tokyo Ghoul creates its typical sense of “tragedy,” by stressing the injustice inherent in every act of eating, and by generalizing the model of nutrition to every ethically laden act. Ishida undermines the Kantian principle that “ought implies can,” depicting a twisted world which forces us into wrongdoing: we have to eat, but there is no Other we can eat with moral impunity. Still, his characters provide some ethical models which could be implemented in our everyday food ethics, given that the tragicality spotted by Ishida is not that alien to our food system: food aesthetics, nihilism, amor fati, living with the tragedy, and letting ourselves be eaten are the options Ishida offers to cope with the tragedy, to approach the devastation our need for food brings into the world in a more aware and charitable way. The examination of Ishida’s narrative device, conducted with the mediation of thinkers such as Lévinas, Ricoeur, Derrida, and other contemporary moral philosophers, shall turn the question: “how to become worthy of eating?” into the core problem for food ethics.

This paper presents a new bidirectional search algorithm to solve the shortest path problem. The new algorithm uses an iterative deepening technique with a consistent heuristic to improve lower bounds on path costs. The new algorithm contains a novel technique of filtering nodes to significantly reduce the memory requirements. Computational experiments on the pancake problem, sliding tile problem, and Rubik’s cube show that the new algorithm uses significantly less memory and executes faster than A* and other state-of-the-art bidirectional algorithms. Summary of Contribution: Quickly solving single-source shortest path problems on graphs is important for pathfinding applications and is a core problem in both artificial intelligence and operations research. This paper attempts to solve large problems that do not easily fit into the available memory of a desktop computer, such as finding the optimal shortest set of moves to solve a Rubik’s cube, and solve them faster than existing algorithms.

In the course of the nineteenth century, physical scientists became increasingly self-conscious of the need for a theory of how scientific knowledge was produced. Though many theories were proposed, none won a consensus. As explicitly stated by William Whewell, the core problem was the same for everyone: how to ground claims of knowledge of experience in a way that also justified claiming that the object of these claims was a reality independent of experience that caused experience. Everyone was acutely aware of the Fallacy of Affirming the Consequent and of the logical gulf between induction and deduction. John Herschel, Whewell, John Stuart Mill, August Comte, Hermann Helmholtz, Pierre Duhem, and Ernst Mach were some who proposed theories of science. Of these, Mach alone decisively rejected reality as the objective of science. Meanwhile, the nonscientist J. B. Stallo argued for the fundamental role played by metaphysical concepts in modern science.

AbstractForty years and 157 papers later, research on contaminant source identification has grown exponentially in number but seems to be stalled concerning advancement towards the problem solution and its field application. This paper presents a historical evolution of the subject, highlighting its major advances. It also shows how the subject has grown in sophistication regarding the solution of the core problem (the source identification), forgetting that, from a practical point of view, such identification is worthless unless it is accompanied by a joint identification of the other uncertain parameters that characterize flow and transport in aquifers.

Thepower industry of Bangladesh is not enough sustainable and eco friendly which is governed by anumber of centralized authorities The energy is received from various power plants and then route theenergy to substations and eventually to the consumers which is palpably inadequate to meet the farreaching demand This leads to the load shedding in many areas which is still a burning question from thesocio economic perspective of Bangladesh A significant percentage of people are still deprived ofuninterrupted energy supply and a many more are still out of the energy distribution network due to lackof resources The energy currently available in the country is mainly fossil fuel energy which is neithersustainable nor eco friendly and the centralized distribution of energy requires the transmission of energyat high voltages which has a lower efficiency and adds to the wastage of energy Another core problem isunauthorized connection of energy and intentional faulty meter reading submission by operators whicheventually leads to a momentous loss of revenue, and this creates a sense of skepticism among the massusers on the local authorities responsible for proper energy management From the economic perspective,it is imperative to create a sustainable sector of investment for mass people due to the current fragile stateof stock market and banking system Addressing these issues is obligatory to maintain the economicgrowth of Bangladesh as well as to elevate the lifestyle of mass people The aim of our project is to attainthese milestones by creating a localized energy generation, storage, transmission and distribution systemusing blockchain which exhibits some genuine concern on pertinent areas and solution of the issues.
