E-commerce is referred to as application of ICT in business and E- commerce. ICT is term which involves usage of computers, including hardware, software, application and networks used to communicate, store and cover the requisite information. The concept of e–Business has been evolving since a number of years and is causative to the economic growth of several developing economies. The approaching for the growth of e-commerce in the developing countries is very high but ICT being the precondition, lack of ICT infrastructure hampers the rate of its growth. The growth of e- commerce is primarily dependent upon the boost in ICT infrastructure. The Smart mobile phone market and Internet diffusion has proved to be a catalyst for growth of ecommerce industry. This paper focus to discuss the role of ICT and ecommerce its services in driving ecommerce industry in developing countries like India and the shift from e-commerce to commerce in large scale in the near future.

This study aims to investigate the online learning readiness of learners and to examine this readiness according to various variables. The descriptive survey model was used in this study. The data of the study were collected from 1963 higher education students who participated voluntarily according to the convenience sampling method. Demographic information form and online learning readiness scale were used as data collection tools. The pandemic period academic grade point means of students constitute their academic achievement for this study. MANOVA was used to investigate whether the demographic variables influenced the readiness sub-factor mean scores of the students. One-factor ANOVA was used to determine whether the academic achievements of the students differ significantly according to their readiness levels. In this study, it was observed that the students had moderate-level readiness, but they were close to the high-level limit. It was observed that gender, education level and the faculty/college were effective on readiness while the grade level and the type of education were not effective. Learners who have a personal computer, internet connection or smart mobile phone are more ready for online learning. In addition, students with a high level of readiness got academically more successful. Readiness is crucial in the success of the experiences and activities to be performed in the online learning environment. Increasing the technological facilities and computer use, the competence of learners will increase online learning readiness and academic success.

Security is always an issue both in individuals and communal attentions. Any forms of threats and crimes that occur in the village area of Karyawangi Parongpong, such as motor vehicle theft, violence, drug abuse, gambling, and others are caused by a lack of supervision from local authorities. The limitation of surveillance distance is one of the problems. Thus, an effective and appropriate security system in a place is indispensable. In this paper, the design of the security system using IoT modules and ESP32 Camera, will be elaborated for karyawangi Parongpong's village. The system secures a village environment by detecting an intruder on the road, triggering Passive Infra Red (PIR) sensor, capturing all activities with ESP32 camera, and then sending data to a smart mobile phone through with Telegram application. These service activities were aimed at the improvement of security systems and increase knowledge of technology advances for rural communities in the Karyawangi Village environment, especially in security systems based on IoT.

Komatsu PC200-8M0 excavators operate mostly in the mining and forestry sector that covers a very large land area up to thousands hectares. Operation of this excavator requires a fuel tank for refueling process. In many cases, there were fuel thefts from the fuel tank of this excavator because the excavator were located in remote area. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to develop a fuel monitoring tool that can monitor and send warnings to the excavator owner if there is any fuel access into the excavator fuel tank during the rest time of the excavator. The monitoring tool is developed by using a NODEMCU ESP8266 microcontroller that connected to the internet network so that it will be able to communicate with the Thingspeak webserver. With internet access, the monitoring process can be carried out by using a computer and also smart mobile phone.

This chapter deals with the implementation of our own monitoring system with home security. The system is designed using IoT modules and uses ESP32 microcontrollers. The chapter describes the design of the system, its hardware components, software implementation, security solutions, communication, the collecting and monitoring of processed data, as well as the quantification of costs for the production and deployment of this system. The proposed system secures a house by detecting an intruder in the building, triggering an alarm and capturing it all with camera images, and then sending data to the owner’s smart mobile phone. The secondary task of the system is to collect data from sensors for monitoring the temperature of an object and presenting it via a web server.

Background & Objectives: Excessive use of mobile phones has raised a great concern about adverse health effects on human health. The present study’s aim was to investigate the association of the usage of smartphones with cognitive function impairment in the Saudi adult population. Methods: The present cross-sectional study was conducted in the Department of Physiology, College of Medicine, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia during September 2019 to January 2020. A total of 251 Saudi adults who were using mobile phones were recruited, and knowledge, attitude and practices were assessed by interview using a predesigned proforma. The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA) tool was employed to assess the cognitive functions, comparison was made between daily mobile phone usage group and their correlated Montreal Cognitive Score (MOCA). Results: The mean age for 251 Saudi adult participants was 32.43±12.8 years. More than 80% of the participants used their mobile phone for more than two hours daily. About 61% of the participants were not aware of the side effect of the radiation generated from mobile phone. The participants showed a decrease in MOCA score with increased daily mobile phone usage (MOCA=26.8 for <1 hour daily usage, 26.1 for 1-2 hours, and 24.6 for >2 hours with P< 0.05). In addition, participants showed decreased MOCA score by keeping their mobile phone near their pillow while sleeping; MOCA=24.35 for near pillow groups and >25.5 for the groups that placed their mobile phone away from the pillow. Conclusions: Excessive use of mobile phones can cause cognitive function impairment. Strict policies must be implemented to control the use of smartphones in order to minimize the effects on mobile phone radiation on cognition. The media has to be on the forefront in educating the public about the proper usage of mobile phones. doi: https://doi.org/10.12669/pjms.36.7.2826 How to cite this:Al-khlaiwi TM, Habib SS, Meo SA, Alqhtani MS, Ogailan AA. This paper presents an interactive application to be used in an important entertainment place visited by young, old and children on holidays and vacations to spend fun times. The system consists of the zoo's mobile application, quick response (QR) code technology as front end, and network system as back end. The mobile application helps the visitor to scan the QR tag that attached on each animal's cage to send the request to a network system that processes the request and returns the result to the visitor's mobile screen in the form either text or text to speech. on the other side, the network system consists of a network provider to provide services that enable the visitor's mobile to access the system and the main server which contains animal's information in three languages; English, Arabic and French. The system provides several capabilities, such as playing audio files stored in the server which contains the animal’s voice. The visitor can also see a list of pets that the zoo administration has offered for sale where the visitor can buy any pet that he/she wants. The aim of this system is to facilitate the visitor's tour of the zoo by using modern technology to make the tour fun and non-routine.
