After primary uses of the plastic product, most developing countries like Ethiopia are facing a shortage of postconsumer disposal waste sites and it became a very serious problem on environmental pollution due to its nonbiodegradable nature. For this reason, regenerating and using the waste product as resources and reducing environmental pollutions are a great opportunity. This research is aimed at the manufacturing of composite materials from waste poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) bottles reinforced with glass fibers and filled with waste glass powder for floor tile applications. The tile composites were prepared by the melt-mixing method followed by compression molding. The effect of filler, fiber, and PET matrix loading on the composite was investigated using their tensile, compression, and flexural strength tests. The sample was characterized using a universal testing machine. PerkinElmer FTIR instrument was also used. For this, eleven samples prepared by varying the glass fiber weight % from 0 to 10, PET matrix weight % from 70 to 85, and glass powder filler weight % from 5 to 20. The measurement results of the composite were maximum tensile strength (81.625 MPa) and flexural strength (1067.59 MPa) recorded at 10%weight of glass fiber, 85% weight of PET matrix, and 5%weight of window glass filler. The maximum compressive strength is 1876.14 MPa at 10% weight glass fiber, 70 wt% PET matrix, and 20 wt% window glass filler. Based on this, the tensile strength and flexural strength increased with increased weight % of glass fiber and decreased with increased window glass filler. The FTIR spectrum shows some of the groups that have been removed from the recycled PET; this explains the brittleness of the recycled PET as compared to the waste bottle PET. The microstructure was uniformly distributed, and the material became opaque, probably because the decrease in chain length improves chain packing, increasing the crystallinity degree and crystal size.

The publication represents a review of three major types of filter-fabrics which are actively applied by domestic industrial enterprises. It's specially noted that contemporary high-technological manufacturing is impossible without highquality materials. The domestic technologies on filter-fabric production deserve attention unconditionally. Nevertheless, together with modernization of domestic industrial production, the technologies on filter-fabric accumulation have to change also. Namely that's why the functioning of such enterprises, which lean on competitive ability principles, product quality and its high technology, is utterly important now. In this regard, it represents an interest the activity of research-production enterprise Filter-Fabrics (RPE Filter-Fabrics Ltd) where from 2013, there has been started the manufacturing of innovational products which basis on, polyamide mini-thread and filament (complex) thread from high-test polyamide with glass filler which is stable to abrasion and having lower shrinkage during exploitation in the liquid medium. Besides, RPE Filter-Fabrics Ltd has significantly expanded filter-fabric market by the way of correction of thread basis and weft that has allowed to introduce the production on many concentrating factories.

The study investigates the use of waste glass as filler in asphalt concrete. Waste glass constitutes a significant proportion of the waste generated in both developed and developing countries. Successful utilization of the waste glass in asphalt will reduce the problem faced by environmental agencies at ensuring safe disposal of the non-biodegradable waste and may improve the asphalt properties. In the study, a waste glass in form of a filler was introduced into the asphalt mix at 8%, 10%, 12%, 14%, 16%, 18% and 20% of the total mix. The asphalt concrete samples with and without waste glass as filler were subjected to the Marshall test to determine the stability, flow, air voids, void in mix aggregate and void filled with bitumen. The Marshall test results show that stability increases when increasing glass filler up to 18%, although the values were lower than of the asphalt concrete without waste glass. This implies improved resistance to fatigue for higher waste glass content. Also, the flow increases with increasing glass filler, which implies the resistance to permanent deformation which did not improve. Generally, the introduction of waste glass in the asphalt concrete is environmentally friendly, and it will aid the sustainable management of waste glass.

Drinking water is very important for the human body, humans will lose concentration and even feel dizzy when lacking water. At the North Serpong District Office there are several locations for drinking gallons of water, but when someone wants to drink but the gallon water runs out the person must tell the officer about it, so the clerk will refill the gallon. When you want to drink you have to hold the glass and open the tap manually to fill the glass and then close it when it's full. This research was conducted using the SDLC method and Black Box testing. This study discusses about designing a gallon water monitor and automatic glass filler with Wemos D1 that uses the ESP8266 chip as a microcontroller, load cell as a detector for the weight of the remaining gallon water and the weight of glass, ultrasonic sensors to measure the distance of glass and servo motor to move the water tap lever . The rest of the gallon water can be monitored through the internet using a smartphone, notifications are sent when the remaining 2 liters of gallon water and the glass can be filled automatically as much as 250ml.

The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between the structure and properties of a gypsum composite based on semi-aquatic gypsum with a filler in the form of hollow glass microspheres with characteristics of water demand and the degree of filling of the mixture with microspheres. We used a glass filler with the sizes of hollow microspheres of 0.1 - 50 microns with a vacuum inside. To solve this problem, a two-factor planned experiment was chosen, where the ultimate compressive strength and the average density of the gypsum composite were selected as the output factors. The data obtained confirm the effectiveness of using hollow microspheres for producing light materials based on calcium sulfate hemihydrate. Domestic samples of glass microspheres were used. It is shown that they have a plasticizing effect in the composition of raw mixtures based on gypsum binder and contribute to a decrease in their average density.
