Abstract Algal bloom (AB) is a serious water environment problem in China, but it is still unclear how AB affects microorganisms with special functions (such as nitrogen-, phosphorus-, sulfur- and iron-related bacteria) at different AB stages. Samples of water and sediment were taken in the AB region and free algal bloom (FAB) region of Chaohu Lake at different AB stages, and the numbers of N-, P-, S- and Fe-related bacteria were determined by culture-dependent methods. Results showed that during the whole experiment, numbers of N-, P-, S-, and Fe-related bacteria in the AB region were significantly higher than those in the FAB region, especially at the AB outbreak stage. In the FAB region, numbers of above bacteria showed little variation with time. In the AB region, however, numbers of N-, S-, and Fe-related bacteria evidently changed as ‘Λ’-type with AB process. They presented upward trend at the AB formation stage and the initial stage of AB outbreak, and then showed downward trend. Numbers of P-related bacteria also showed similar trend as above bacteria, but they kept high level for long time at the AB outbreak stage. This study indicated that AB produced different effects on microorganisms with special functions at different AB stages.

Educating students through a learning process is not only aimed to enable them to obtain knowledge and skill in various things but also, ethical formation is an essential part of the education objective itself. Knowledge, expertise, and ethics can be achieved through problem-based learning with a socio-scientific context integrated with Islamic values. Problem-solving with socio-context issues has strengthened students' engagement in environmental issues, and their involvement is finally able to improve their understanding of environmental problems. Islamic values which integrated with knowledge are believed to influence students' mindset and perception. Ethics and sensitivity to the environment begin with the way they view and act on the environment. An effective environmental educational concept can strengthen environmental literacy and readiness to behave well concerning the environment. Problem-based learning is learning using the problem as a starting point for learning. This learning has directed students to seek and determine relevant sources with knowledge. Therefore, this learning challenges students to build knowledge independently.

Pharmaceutical science has provided humans with better and cheaper treatments. However, with improved access to medicines, the amount of pharmaceutical waste also grows. Pharmaceutical waste is regularly mismanaged by households, which is considerably and unnecessarily adding to the “pharmaceuticals in the environment” problem. Redesigning existing pharmaceutical takeback schemes and their regulation is a potential step towards a reduction of the problem. Interdisciplinary research between the fields of psychology, law, public health and medical science is necessary to tackle the issue and to design effective regulation steering responsible patient behaviours.

Problem solving while using creative thinking is vital for generating ideas by individuals and teams. In this study, creative problem skills of individuals and teams based on perceptions of their creativity and their assessment of five creative advertisements was assessed. The experiment was completed using 10 participants in five teams while working on a retail environment problem using virtual reality. Different creativity assessment tools (CPS, CSDD & CPSS) were used for evaluating individuals and teams. The CPS scale scores ranged from 4.30 ± 0.67 (have done things others find strange) to 1.50 ± 0.97 (avoided reading difficult material), while for the CSDD the scores ranged from 3.50 ± 0.97 (solving their own problems) to 2.80 ± 1.93 (art). There was no particular pattern on how individuals selected the advertisements using the CPSS scale. This study demonstrated that individuals with different personalities from different disciplines, and varying degrees of creativity can problem solve in teams effectively.

Abstract - Al Qur’an is the word of Allah SWT as the rules and guidance to get harmony and success life in here and after. The explanation and ways how to implement command of Al Qur’an are found in Al Hadist Muhammad SAW. Al Qur’an teaches may aspect of life and one of them is how using and managing the natural resources and conserve of environment, using the source of energy, water, health and sanitation. In the other hand the people of the world included Indonesia facing environment problem. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from United nation are collected of 17 global goal or agenda 2030 for transforming our world 2030 and containing strategy to solve environment problem. Base on the fact, the problem is how awareness the senior high school and higher education (university) students specially Islamic students to contribute conserve the environment?. The goals of the research were to know how environment awareness and action performance of students from senior high school and university. Methodology of the research was survey and observation concerning in 320 student from 4 senior high schools and in 1 university. The result of the research showed 41,5% of natural and 40.35% social science students from Islamic values senior high schools (SMAI IPA and IPS) showed the awareness action to environment. In SMAN IPA students showed their awareness 51.1% and SMAN IPS 20.6% Based on observation students from university with Islamic values showed low awareness of environment.

Keyword - Al Qur’an, Awareness, Environment, Hadist, Students

The environment problem is a sustainable hot topic in the field of transportation research. With higher awareness of the environment problem, travelers tend to choose more environment friendly traffic modes and travel routes. However, for motor vehicle drivers, the environmental cost is an implicit cost, which is not easily perceived. With the help of the advanced traveler information system (ATIS), a fresh scheme was proposed to reduce the environmental cost of the transportation network, which incorporates the information of environmental cost into ATIS to guide drivers to choose more environment-friendly routes. To test the validity of the scheme, we adopted the theory of stochastic network user equilibrium to assign two classes of drivers on the transportation network and analyzed the impact on environmental cost after applying this scheme. Mathematically, a mixed stochastic user equilibrium (SUE) model was proposed to analyze this scheme. The corresponding algorithm was also proposed. Both the model and algorithm were tested in the numerical examples. Through the examples, the validity and feasibility of our proposed scheme were also identified. Our research provided some new ideas for traffic planners and managers to reduce environmental costs caused by traffic.
