Students’ well-being among Indonesian scholars might be still unpopular as this topic could lead to a blundered result in a certain area of disciplines. Yet, this topic is essential to reveal as it can be one of the indicators which can be taken into account on measuring the workload of students enrolling in this state-owned institution. Not only that, but this also might be an eminent output indicator for the quality of education specifically on educational outcomes. The instruments occupied in this study were interviews and surveys. Students and alumni of the polytechnic were asked to participate in this study and several key figures as well. This study applied a mixed-method research design, which is commonly accepted as there are both qualitative and quantitative parts combined in the study. The results showed that the quality of student well-being in an emotional, social, and school dimension of student PPIM is relatively at a good level. Hence, with the tight schedule and tough physical activity, the institution should pay attention to a psychological aspect.

This study analyzes the changes in energy consumption of the Korean manufacturing sector using the index decomposition analysis (IDA) method. To capture the production effect based on actual physical activities, we applied the activity revaluation (AR) approach in the analysis. We also developed energy consumption data in terms of primary energy supply to consider conversion loss in the energy sector to avoid any distortions in the intensity effect. The analysis covers every manufacturing subsector in Korea over the period between 2006 and 2018. Combining two distinctive approaches from the previous literature, the AR approach and primary energy-based analysis gives us helpful findings for a climate policy. First, the overall activity effect estimated from the physical output indicator is lower than that from the monetary output indicator. The monetary indicator shows that the share of energy-intensive industries decreases, whereas the physical indicator shows the opposite. Second, in terms of energy efficiency, the intensity effect is estimated as an increasing factor of energy use, whereas inversed results are shown when we use the monetary indicator. Lastly, unlike the previous studies, the AR approach results indicate that Korean manufacturing sectors have been shifting toward an energy-intensive, so it is hard to anticipate positive intensity effects, which means decreasing energy consumption factor, for a while. These results support why analyzing the driving forces of energy consumption through the AR approach and primary energy base is highly recommended.

Object and purpose of research. This paper justifies the prospects of compensated gross tonnage (CGT) as a main indicator for output potentials of Russian shipyards. Materials and methods. This paper analyses foreign and Russian publications for the most popular ship types built and delivered in recent years, as well as those under construction now, with an insight to Russian economy needs in ships and other marine technology. Main results. CGT indicator commonly used for marketing and statistical purposes, is the most unbiased measurement unit for the potential of separate shipyards and the entire marine industry. This paper suggests СGT as a main statistical indicator for potential of Russian marine industry as a whole and its specific commercial yards. Conclusion. This paper analyses the prospects of CGT as main indicator for production potential of shipbuilding enterpris-es. The methodology of this research can also be applied to Russian shipyards, so as to figure out their true potential and work-load, as well as to determine current underload of existing shipyards.

The term ‘empowerment' has been defined in many ways in different professional fields. Empowerment means to develop a person's full potential to achieve a range of human capabilities. For people to be productive, they may need to be empowered to gasp their sense of self-worth and be able to tackle their personal issues. The study investigates the contribution of ICT tools such as telecentres for the empowerment of women in disadvantaged areas of the Western Cape, South Africa. The essence of empowerment entails the alteration of individual lives to attain goals they may have not been able to achieve. Thus, empowerment is an active, multi-dimensional progression that allows people to comprehend their potential and powers in all spheres of life. The study used the Dimensions of Empowerment Theory to explain the outcome of women's use of the telecentre using the dimensions of empowerment output indicator.

Considering time lag and accumulation of inputs and outputs, this paper adopts the superefficiency data envelopment analysis (DEA) model to study the technological innovation efficiency of high patent-intensive industries using panel data from 2007 to 2017. Given the characteristics and the actual circumstances of the industries, the innovation process is divided into two stages, and an input-output indicator system is established. The results show that the overall innovation efficiency level of high patent-intensive industries in China is increasing. However, the R&D achievements in technology are not quickly applied or sufficiently transformed.

This research aimed to assess the participation of members of farmer groups in Puring, Kebumen regency, and to compare the participation of members of farmer groups in advanced classes and beginner classes in Puring, Kebumen regency.. Through this research, farmer groups are expected to maintain the participation of each member so that the farmer groups to be effective, optimal and can achieve a higher grade category. Research location determined by purposive in Puring, Kebumen regency. Method of sampling determined by multistage cluster random sampling. To determine whether there are differences in the participation and effectiveness of farmer Group in advanced classes and beginner classes used by Man-Whitney Test From the Mann-Whitney U test, can be seen in all statistical Test output indicator for the level of participation and effectiveness has a small z value and sig. 2-tailednya greater than 0.005. It states the test results are not statistically significant, thus the hypothesis is accepted that there is no difference in the distribution of scores on the level of participation in the advanced classes and beginner classes.

This study aims to determine and analyze the effectiveness and benefit of UPPKS program based on welfare after receiving UPPKS program assistance.Given the importance of improving welfare through family empowerment as a breakthrough to accelerate the transformation of non-socio-economic activities into economic enterprises, it is hoped that through this research, families especially PreSejahtera and KS 1 are able to take advantage of existing business opportunities in the framework of learning productive economic enterprises at the household scale as a business improving family welfare, especially in Srimartani, Piyungan, Bantul. This research is quantitative with judgment sampling method through questionnaires and interviews on UPPKS Program beneficiaries. The effectiveness analysis of the UPPKS Program is done by comparing the realization of the average number of effectiveness of all indicator variables in both input, process and output. While the McNemar test is used to calculate the benefit of the program to the community that follows the UPPKS Program by looking at the significance of the changes. From the research result, it is found that the implementation of UPPKS Program in Srimartani, Piyungan, Bantul based on input, process and output indicator is very effective that is 83.33 percent. And the change in the welfare of respondents is significantly assessed from the aspect of income and working hours before and after following UPPKS Program.

W pracy uwzględniono rankingi opracowane na bazie indeksów: Global Innovation Index, Global Creativity Index, Global Competitiveness Index, Summary Innovation Index, Innovation Output Indicator. Do analizy zastosowano metodę Bordy i Dodgsona.
