Abstract We compute the unpolarized quark and gluon transverse-momentum dependent fragmentation functions (TMDFFs) at next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order (N3LO) in perturbative QCD. The calculation is based on a relation between the TMDFF and the limit of the semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering cross section where all final-state radiation becomes collinear to the detected hadron. The required cross section is obtained by analytically continuing our recent computation of the Drell-Yan and Higgs boson production cross section at N3LO expanded around the limit of all final-state radiation becoming collinear to one of the initial states. Our results agree with a recent independent calculation by Luo et al.

On March 17, 2021, Rosrybolovstvo Order No. 238 of May 6, 2020 "On Approval of the Meth-odology for Determining the Consequences of Negative Impacts during Construction, Recon-struction, and Major Repairs of Capital Construction Facilities, the Introduction of New Techno-logical Processes and other Activities on the State of Aquatic Biological Resources and their Habitat, and the development of measures to eliminate the consequences of Negative Impacts on the State of Aquatic Biological Resources and their Habitat, aimed at Restoring their Disturbed State" (Methodology) [1]. This document is not only a normative act, but also a practical guide to the independent calculation of damage when planning economic activities. Earlier, the Order of Rosrybolovstvo No. 1166 of November 25, 2011 was used to assess the damage [2]. Due to the exceptional importance of the Methodology in the field of fish protection and impact assessment on aquatic biota, we have prepared a brief overview of the significant changes that have affected the text of the document. References in the text, unless otherwise specified, point to the points of the new Methodology.

Computer-aided designing of lighting systems has been remaining of relevance for more than ten years. The most popular CAD packages for calculating lighting systems, such as DIAlux and Relux, are based on solving the radiosity equation. By using this equation, the illuminance distributions can be modeled, based on which the standardized quantitative lighting characteristics can be calculated. However, the human eye perceives brightness, not illuminance. The qualitative parameters of lighting are closely linked with the spatial-angular distribution of brightness, for calculation of which it is necessary to solve the global illumination equation. An analysis of the engineering matters concerned with designing of lighting systems points to the obvious need for a so-called view-independent calculation of lighting scenes, which means the possibility to visually represent a scene from different positions of sighting (a camera). The approach based on local estimations of the Monte Carlo method as one of efficient techniques for solving the global illumination equation is considered, and an algorithm for view-independent modeling based on the local estimations method is presented. Various algorithms for solving the problem of searching the intersection for the casted beams from a light source with the studied illumination scene are investigated.

Algorithmic approach principles relating to development and use of wireless sensor network (WSS) key spaces are formulated based on an analysis of the keys management peculiarities. The formulated principles, which meet certain requirements for the WSS key spaces, have been elaborated proceeding from the assumption that their structure corresponds to one of the varieties of combinatorial block diagrams: cyclic or acyclic projective plane, linear or quadratic transversal block diagrams. Owing to the WSS having a distributed configuration, it becomes possible to avoid the need to construct a combinatorial block diagram in full scope, and the required blocks are computed, whenever necessary, in scaling the network (in adding new nodes) or when determining, in a decentralized manner, the switching parameters of specific nodes. To do so, it is necessary to have algorithms for computing the blocks of the combinatorial block diagram (as the sets of key numbers allocated to a given node) and dual blocks (as the sets of the numbers of nodes to which keys are assigned with the numbers coinciding with the numbers of dual blocks), as well as algorithms for solving derived problems: computing of the key numbers common to two nodes and the number of the node that has a common key with one of two nodes and, possibly, another key with the other one. These problems are solved by using the numbering of elements, blocks and dual blocks in accordance with the proposed duality rule: sets of elements and dual blocks are in one-to-one correspondence by numbering; the dual block with a specified number contains the numbers of blocks containing elements with this number. Distributed (independent) calculation of blocks is carried out on the basis of algebraic identifiers computed by block numbers. In addition to the possible absence of a physical connection between the nodes, the inadmissibility of using separate (compromised) keys is taken into account, and the incomplete furnishing of the network nodes with keys, as well as the incompleteness of the system implementation as a whole. Algorithms for computing the switching parameters of two nodes in designing the WSS and an algorithm for computer modeling of the calculation of such parameters during the WSS operation subject to the specified constraints and in using any of the above types of combinatorial block diagrams are presented.

Abstract In previous work, the two-loop five-point amplitudes in $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 4 super Yang-Mills theory and $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 8 supergravity were computed at symbol level. In this paper, we compute the full functional form. The amplitudes are assembled and simplified using the analytic expressions of the two-loop pentagon integrals in the physical scattering region. We provide the explicit functional expressions, and a numerical reference point in the scattering region. We then calculate the multi-Regge limit of both amplitudes. The result is written in terms of an explicit transcendental function basis. For certain non-planar colour structures of the $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 4 super Yang-Mills amplitude, we perform an independent calculation based on the BFKL effective theory. We find perfect agreement. We comment on the analytic properties of the amplitudes.

Abstract We extend our algorithm for automating the calculation of two-loop dijet soft functions to observables that do not obey the non-Abelian exponentiation theorem, i.e. to those that require an independent calculation of the uncorrelated-emission contribution. As the singularity structure of uncorrelated double emissions differs substantially from the one for correlated emissions, we introduce a novel phase-space parametrisation that isolates the corresponding divergences. The resulting integrals are implemented in SoftSERVE 1.0, which we release alongside of this work, and which we supplement by a regulator that is consistent with the rapidity renormalisation group framework. Using our automated setup, we confirm existing results for various jet-veto observables and provide a novel prediction for the soft-drop jet-grooming algorithm.

The author considers the new approaches to the rating system (labor complexity evaluation) of directors and specialists of the production and structural subdivisions of Transneft system entities, based on the results of independent expert and analytical evaluation of a universal set of production and technical values, representing the subdivisions’ activities. The author performed a number of practical studies and developments in the area of forming universal mathematical models, which allow economic analysis to be carried out and establishing a justified salary as per the positions of the directors of various subdivisions, regardless of activity type and level of position. The article introduces universal systems of point-based and factor-based ranking, based on the use of innovative mathematical analysis methods (multi-innovating normalizing, decision matrices, hierarchy analysis) for obtaining normalized assessment of production activity), administrative work load and professional labor complexity. The devised analytical approaches to the selection and assessment of the performance of subdivisions provide the possibility for objective and independent calculation for rating determination (salary) both for the Transneft system as a whole and for separate structural subdivisions (observing labor laws). The represented methods have significant applicability in modern conditions – on the stage of transition to the new system of professional standards and evaluation of qualifications, as well as the rejection of traditional models, based on strict attachment to the rating and qualification system, fixed salaries, etc.

Based on an analysis of the reliability requirements for electrical products of data acquisition devices in telemetry systems, a reliability rating is calculated in accordance by the elemental method using an automated reliability calculation system. The additional capabilities of the automated system are investigated: splitting the source data into independent calculation projects. A calculation estimate is made for the exponential law of the distribution of time between failures, the stationary flow of failures, and the assumption that failures are random and independent events.
