AbstractThe present study aimed to identify the factors regulating aspiration rate (AR) of backflush needles and to compare those factors across various backflush needles from different manufacturers. The 27-gauge (27G), 25-gauge, and 23-gauge backflush needles from four different manufacturers, Alcon, MedOne, VitreQ, and DORC, were used for this experiment. AR was measured at four different aspiration vacuum levels: 100, 200, 400, and 650 mmHg. AR was significantly increased as the aspiration vacuum level increased when both aspirating balanced salt solution (BSS) and ethylene glycol; however, 27G products from VitreQ and MedOne were unable to aspirate ethylene glycol at the low aspiration vacuum level of 100 mmHg. When aspirating BSS at the high aspiration vacuum level of 650 mmHg, a smaller gauge number generally resulted in a significantly higher AR. AR, inner diameter, and cross-sectional area in Alcon products were significantly larger in any gauge, and the shaft length of Alcon products was significantly shorter than those of other manufacturers’ products in any gauge. Cross-sectional area negatively correlated with the degree of shaft deflection (r2 = 0.21, p = 0.042). These results imply that AR differs significantly among backflush needles and among companies depending on the shaft cross-sectional area.

There is not much Islamic madrasa in the majority of non-Muslim regions. The existence of Islamic madrassas is important for Muslim communities who live in predominantly non-Muslim areas. In the province of North Maluku, there are approximately nine madrassas that have existed until now. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining the existence of these madrassas in a society that is predominantly non-Muslim. The research focuses on is the social support influence the aspiration of the students of Madrasah Aliyah in West Halmahera regency. The method used in this research is quantitative correlational which aim to know the correlation between the predictor variable with the criterium variable. The result of the research shows that for all, education aspiration, social support, and also perception and subject its in-between position category. Subject shows that aspiration education has a correlation with social support and perception. Social support research subject has more than a contribution to education aspiration compare with perception, that’s why, its concluded that simultaneity social support and perception have the influence to education aspiration, The highly social support, the high education aspiration. Otherwise, the high education perception owned, it means the high aspiration education must be owned too.

Millennials, born starting from the 1980s, who are also called Nexters, the Net Generation, and Generation Y represent a new workforce in a global market and have high aspiration. Because of their digital, liquid, and collective mindset, they are adapting the way people generate the future. But now we have three generations representing the workforce at the same time . Before them, the world had two other generation groups: Generation X, born between 1965 and 1980, and the Baby Boomers who were born between 1946 and 1964 . Following the Strauss-Howe generation theory, each type of generation falls on a certain cycle of social and economic development, namely high, awakening, unraveling, and crisis. As a result, the Baby Boomers were born during the high, Generation X during the awakening, and millennials entered the unraveling period.

The goals of this research are to describe the use of authentic materials on teaching reading, the problems and the solutions in using authentic materials, and its effects on students reading motivation. This research was case study research. The sources of data were event, informant, and document. The techniques of data collection were observation, interview, and document. The results of the research are in determining the materials; the teacher considers criteria such as the topic and the difficult level of the text. The problems of the use of authentic materials are related to time constrain and the students’ lack of vocabulary mastery, proper use of authentic materials gives positive effects on students reading motivation. The student have positive task orientation, ego involvement, need for achievement, high aspiration, goal-orientation, perseverance and tolerance of ambiguity.

Aspiration levels play an important role in everyday decision making. In practice, however, decisions are not based on an aspiration level alone. The aspiration level and the overall probabilities of success and failure may receive special attention, but subjects will not be completely insensitive to difference within the classes of gains and losses. Aspirations have a significant impact on pupil attainment net of family background and other individual factors, but their effect is reduced when examining pupil progression. Some students, particularly from low-income or first-generation backgrounds, in spite of having high aspirations fail to meet their goals to attend college. Aspiration is a strong desire to achieve something in life. Every people they want to be successful man in life, they want famous, popular in society, so aspiration has vague meaning and sense. In this research student of Nepal they have high aspiration in life. Some of they want social worker, doctor, pilot engineer, great motivator and great leader in future. The study was conducted among the 511 students of grade ten students of three districts of Nepal.

The KVK has excelled in bringing the modern technologies at the farmers doorstep with the help of various instructional aides. The KVK today has sufficient resources to impart training, skills and knowledge for not only the farmers but also to the rural youth. The present study was undertaken to assess the income generation of beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries of KVKs working in the tribal districts of Madhya Pradesh, India. The study was conducted with 300 tribal farmers randomly selected in 12 villages of Mandla, Dindori and Shahdol district, which were results showed that, tribal farmers were of comparatively middle age group, education up to high school, agriculture plus other as their occupation, medium annual income, medium landholdings, medium experience, high attitude towards technological demonstrations, high knowledge about KVK activities, high perception towards scientific agriculture, medium market orientation, high scientific orientation, high aspiration level, medium use of information sources and high training exposure. The income generation of tribal farmers was high.
