LABURPENA: Lan honek xedetzat du Jabetza Erregistroaren babesa aztertzea mendi publikoei eta, bereziki, jabari publikoko mendiei dagokienez. Lehenik, azterketa historiko zehatza egin dugu, eta ondoren, 1925ean sortutako doktrina-eztabaidaren garapena aztertu dugu; hau da, ea jabari publikoko mendiak inskribatu behar diren edo ez partikularren usurpazioetatik babesteko. Jarraian, funtsezko gogoeta batzuk egin ditugu administrazio-zuzenbidearen printzipio eta kontzeptuen aldetik administrazio-jakintzako doktrina akademikoa aztertuta. Lanaren bigarren zatian, batetik, hartutako irtenbidea azaldu dugu, eta bestetik, partikularren eta administrazioaren artean, mendiei dagokienez, gaur egun dauden gatazken azterketa jaso dugu, bai eta mendien eta erregistroaren arteko harremanen legezko testuen arauketarena ere. ABSTRACT: The object of this work is to study the protection of the Property Registry in relation to public forests and especially those considered of public domain. In the first place, a detailed historical analysis is carried out, to later analyze the development of the doctrinal debate that arose in 1925 on the need or not to inscribe the public domain forests in order to protect them from landgrabbings by individuals. Then, some background considerations are carried out from the principles and concepts of administrative law with an analysis of the administrative academic doctrine. The second part of the work presents the solution adopted and analyzes the current conflicts between individuals and the Administration in relation to the forests, as well as the regulation of the different legal texts of the relationships between the public forests and the Registry.

Purpose This study addressed the cultural, linguistic, and contextual validity of parent-implemented naturalistic language interventions for young children from Latinx homes. Parents' perspectives on the acceptability of commonly delivered intervention procedures were explored. Method Thirty-seven parents from Spanish-speaking Latinx backgrounds with children under the age of 6 years participated. Four focus groups were completed. Parents responded to 14 procedures regarding the intervention implementers, settings, activities, strategies, and language. Structural and emergent coding was used to explore procedural acceptability and parents' rationales for perceiving each procedure as acceptable, not acceptable, or neutral. Results Substantial intracultural variability in parents' acceptance of specific procedures and the reasons for their perspectives was observed. Parents' perspectives evinced both individualist and collectivist orientations toward child language development. Several suggestions regarding promising adaptations for early language interventions that may overlap with evidence-based parent-implemented naturalistic language intervention procedures emerged. Conclusion The findings highlight the variability within the Latinx community that is likely to impact the cultural validity of early language interventions for children and families from this background. Considerations for enhancing interventions to achieve cultural congruency and promote child outcomes are provided. Supplemental Material https://doi.org/10.23641/asha.12315713

This chapter presents some background considerations relevant to the patterns of language dispersal and diversification in Island Southeast Asia and Oceania. First an overview of languages and language families is given, including three large families—the widely dispersed Austronesian family, the Trans New Guinea (TNG) family in New Guinea, and the Pama-Nyungan family in Australia—as well as many smaller families and isolates. Then the main distinctive typological features of Austronesian languages, New Guinea and Australia are presented. Australia shows surprising structural homogeneity when compared to New Guinea and even to Austronesian. Subsequent sections cover the history of the study of the languages in the region, the history of the region itself, and issues for further research, including the mechanisms in the spread of Austronesian and the language development of New Guinea. The chapter concludes with a brief summary of the chapters in the book regarding the region.

This chapter presents some background considerations relevant to the patterns of language dispersal and diversification in Africa. First an overview of languages and language families is given. There are three larger families (Nilo-Saharan, Niger-Congo, and Afro-Asiatic) next to around nine smaller families and at least fifteen linguistic isolates. Then the main distinctive typological features of African languages are presented and some of the areal patterns are discussed. The following section presents the history of research on the major families of the continent. An important recent finding is that the Khoisan languages do not constitute a single family, but rather that three independent families (North, Central, and South Khoisan) are involved as well as two isolates, Hadza and Sandawe. The early history of the continent is briefly analysed, stressing the importance of genetic, archeological, and anthropological insights. The chapter concludes with a brief summary of the chapters in the book regarding the region.

In the pursuit of sustainability in tourism, a rethink is necessary. The individual decision-making process merits more attention, because it is decisive for sustainable behavior both in a regulated environment as in noncodified contexts. This is particularly true in those areas that are experiencing high growth rates and are thus developing rapidly—partly controlled, partly uncontrolled—as can currently be observed in the cruise segment. Attitudes are to be understood as the basis for decisions. Once one has gained an understanding of these, one knows starting points for tapping sustainability potentials. Because little attention has been paid to this connection so far, this research note is primarily intended to present the theoretical background considerations of the "NaKreu" study, which was carried out in cooperation with TUI Cruises in 2019 in order to explore the attitudes of cruise passengers towards sustainability. In this, sustainability potentials in the segment are attributed to an interest in change, an ability to change, and structural factors. Additionally, sustainability is discussed as a quality facet of cruises. The present contribution introduces the methodical procedure of the project and gives an insight into its first results: By applying a mixed-methods approach, it can be shown that the attitudes of cruise passengers are generally neutral positive, but at the same time are permeated by strong skepticism. It is concluded that customers face the dilemma of a double claim. The results are to be interpreted as representative for the concrete project context; a transfer from the German-centered perspective of the project is still pending.

This literature review explored areas that are often manifest in adult classrooms but insufficiently addressed or overlooked in preservice training and in-service professional development for educators of adults. Three overarching themes emerged: (a) educational background considerations (e.g., significant interruptions in formal education), (b) disability considerations (e.g., learning disabilities and students on the autism spectrum), and (c) status considerations (e.g., domestic violence and mental health issues). This overview of the identified themes was contextualized within andragogy, which posits ways that adults learn differently from children. Recommendations to enhance instructional approaches were interwoven throughout the review. Following the overview and instructional recommendations, preliminary assertions for strengthening preservice training and ongoing professional development for educators of adults and areas for future research were advanced.
