VIKOR is a selecting and sorting technique for addressing problems and optimising multi-criteria decision making in complex systems. This study sought the relevant literature to categorise, analyse, and discuss the content and extent of existing studies that used the VIKOR method for applications in manufacturing. The study examined 84 studies published throughout 2018–2020. The studies were categorised by publication dates, author(s) name, techniques and methods, weighting method, comparison method, description of comparison results (comparing a given method to others), testing applicability, and journal-title. Analyses revealed that approximately 35 of the published studies involving VIKOR were related to its strategic use in manufacturing decisions and applications. In 2019, manufacturing was represented more than any other field among all published VIKOR papers, and Sustainability published more of the VIKOR-related articles than any other journal. Interestingly, the integrated and fuzzy VIKOR methods were used more than the traditional VIKOR method. Furthermore, the review results show that VIKOR is flexible enough to be continuously improved by integrating it with the new multi-criteria decision-making methods. This literature review can guide researchers and practitioners in applying VIKOR in various manufacturing fields.

Abstract Introduction Robotic assisted surgery is increasingly utilised in paediatric surgery. The purpose of this study was to establish a ranking of the 50 most frequently cited articles addressing this subject and analyse their bibliometric characteristics. Method Articles related to paediatric robotic surgery were searched in The Web of Science citation indexing database utilising defined search terms. Results were filtered to include only English language and full manuscripts. The dataset was then ranked by the absolute number of citations and analysed by the journal of publication, impact factor of the journal, title of publication, article type, year of publication, first and senior author, geographic origin, and level of evidence. Results The search yielded a total of 352 papers which were ranked in order of citations. The 50 highest cited articles had 2669 citations cumulatively. The most cited article by Lee, RS et al had a citation count of 207. The publication years spanned from 2002 to 2018. 2013 saw the greatest number of publications on this topic. Most articles were of the ‘’Clinical science’’ type. Geographically the USA accounted for most of these publications. All published articles demonstrated a high level of evidence. Conclusions The 50 articles identified in this study are clearly influential in this new and evolving field of surgery. Identification of these seminal papers is intended to assist clinicians and scientists in formulating an overview of current and developing trends in this cutting-edge discipline as well as providing a foundational basis for further discussion and future research.

Background. Pancreatic pseudocysts stand among current challenges in modern medicine. Their treatment uses variant instrumental techniques and implies a multispecialty approach. Trials in surgery and gastroenterology have aimed to identify an optimal strategy to tackle pancreatic pseudocysts for reducing complications and the recurrence rate, suggesting ultrasound-guided percutaneous, laparoscopic and flexible endoscopic drainage as promising treatment choices.Objectives. A summarising review of diagnostic and therapeutic methods for pancreatic pseudocyst treatment and comparison of ultrasound-guided percutaneous vs. surgical and endoscopic drainage techniques.Methods. The review examines the classification, epidemiology and methods for diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic pseudocysts. Only comparative full-text studies published within 2014–2021, as well as selected impactive publications within 2002–2013, have been included. The eLibrary, Elsevier and PubMed resources were queried for the article or journal title fields against the keywords (separate or combined) “pancreatic pseudocyst” [псевдокиста поджелудочной железы], “pseudocyst drainage” [дренирование псевдокисты], “surgical drainage” [хирургическое дренирование], “endoscopic drainage” [эндоскопическое дренирование], cystogastrostomy [цистогастростомия], gastrojejunostomy [гастроеюностомия], “duodenal-cystic anastomosis” [цистодуоденоанастомоз], “transpapillary drainage” [транспапиллярное дренирование], “transmural drainage and esophagogastroduodenoscopy” [трансмуральное дренирование и эзофагогастродуоденоскопия]. Records have been selected for topic-related scientific value.Results. The review systematically surveys 68 scientific papers in the focus area and summarises the most common surgical methods for pancreatic pseudocyst treatment. Based on the main principle, the methods are classified into three categories, ultrasound-guided percutaneous drainage, surgical drainage and flexible endoscopic drainage. The major classifications and treatment techniques are highlighted for their advantages and disadvantages.Conclusion. There exist no generally adopted strategy for pancreatic pseudocyst treatment in current clinical practice and no evidence on a particular method application in a large patient cohort. The publication survey identifies the techniques of percutaneous, surgical and endoscopic drainage with ultrasound control as highly effective overall among other surgical treatments.

With issue 2 of volume 4, of this month, June 15, 2021, the Home Dialysis Bulletin (original journal title: Bulletin de la Dialyse à Domicile (BDD)) begins its fourth year of publication. Over the past three years, it has gradually become a benchmark medium for clinical research in the field of home dialysis for both nursing staff and nephrologists. It is referenced in Sherpa/Romeo [1], and each article has a CrossRef identifier. All articles benefit from perpetual archiving and have obtained the SEAL quality logo for open access journals from the referencer DOAJ [2]. The abstracts of articles have been viewed 33,840 times, and the French versions of articles have been downloaded in pdf format 19,164 times. It is widely read by caregivers and nephrologists regardless of the mode of exercise, as our recent survey revealed [3]. But dissemination outside the French-speaking world has also been growing steadily thanks to systematic bilingual publication, and 2,640 English versions of articles have been downloaded. Our privileged relations with the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) [4] have enabled the translation and dissemination into French of international guidelines, when authorized.. The Bulletin de la Dialyse à Domicile appears to be one of the best supports for the development of home dialysis in France and Francophonie while maintaining close links with the English-speaking community. This success was made possible thanks to the work of the authors, whom we would like to thank for their support. Thanks also to the members of our editorial board. We also warmly thank our reviewers, who carry out the critical analysis of the published articles, usually within very short deadlines: Aguilera Didier (France), Azar Raymond (France), Bammens Bert (Belgium), Bataille Stanislas (France), Beaudreuil Séverine (France), Beaume Julie (France), Béchade Clémence (France), Ben Abdallah Taieb (Tunisia), Benamar Loubna (Morocco), Cassagne Brigitte (Switzerland), Caudwell Valérie (France), Chaffara Emmanuel (France), Chanliau Jacques (France), Collart Fredéric (Belgium), Courivaud Cécile (France), de Arteaga Javier (Argentina), Descot Lisa (France), Desitter Arielle (France), Divino José (USA), Durand Pierre-Yves (France), El Esper Najeh (France), Fabre Emmanuel (France), Faller Bernadette (France), Fessi Hafedh (France), Fibach Eitan (Israel), Francois Karlien (Belgium), Goffin Eric (Belgium), Grillon Antoine (France), Guillouet Sonia (France), Jager Rachel (France), Kieron Donovan (UK), Landru Isabelle (Fran ce), Lanot Antoine (France), Laruelle Eric (France), Mougel Sophie (France), Thierry Lobbedez (France), Laville Maurice (France), Morel Bertrand (France), Morelle Johann (Belgium), Mougel Sophie (France) , Nortier Joelle (Belgium), Padernoz Marie (France), Petitclerc Thierry (France), Pourcine Franck (France), Pouteau Lise-Marie (France), Poux Jean-Michel (France), Pujo Myriam (France), Querin Serge ( Belgium), Rodrigues Anabela (Portugal), Rostoker Guy (France), Rousseau-Gagnon Mathieu (Canada), Sanchez Emilio (Spain), Seret Guilaume (France), Simon Pierre (France), Sqalli Tarik (Morocco), Stéphanie Gentile ( France), Target Natalia (France), Testa Angelo (France), Touré Fatouma (France), Treille Serge (France), Urena Pablo (France), Van Biesen Wim (Belgium), Veniez Ghislaine (France), Vernier Isabelle ( France), Landi Vincent (France), Vrtovsnik François (France).More diffusion and improvement will only be possible if we continue to receive high-quality articles, and we hope that non-academics and academics, nurses and doctors will help us achieve this goal in the interest of all and of home dialysis ; so that these physicians and nurses teams will have easily accessible documentation at their disposal to enable them to exchange their knowledge in the service of patients, while sharing in both english and french language. 1 - https://v2.sherpa.ac.uk/id/publication/390072 - https://doaj.org/apply/seal/3 - Verger Christian, Max Dratwa, Pierre-Yves Durand, Jacques Chanliau, Eric Goffin, Thierry Petitclerc, Belkacem Issad, Ghislaine Veniez, Isabelle Vernier, Fatouma Toure, and Cécile Courivaud. 2020. «Assessment of the Interest of a French Language Journal Specializing in Home Dialysis».
