ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY Streptomyces spp. ENDHOPHYTIC TO Staphylococcus aureus AND Eschericia coli

The objective of this research was to known antibacterial activity of 4 endhophytic Streptomyces namely Streptomyces griseorubiginosus, Streptomyces vellosus, Streptomyces diastaticus and Streptomyces griseoruber against Staphylococcus aureus and Eschericia coli and measure the biggest antibacterial activity which is indicate by clear zone diameter. Antibacterial activity by using agar plug diffusion method showed that Streptomyces vellosus has capable to inhibits growth of Staphylococcus aureus but not with Eschericia coli and Streptomyces diastaticus has capable to inhibits growth of Eschericia coli but not with Staphylococcus aureus. The clear zone of Streptomyces vellosus and Streptomyces diastaticus are 5,18 mm and 7 mm respectively. Streptomyces griseoruber and Streptomyces griseorubiginosus can’t grow during isolation. OPTIMASI FORMULA TABLET BUKAL MUKOADHESIVE GLIBENKLAMID MENGGUNAKAN MATRIKS CMC NA SERTA ASAM OLEAT SEBAGAI ENHANCHER

Glibenclamide is a sulfonylurea class of antidiabetic drugs that works by stimulating insulin secretion in the pancreas so that it is effective only when the β-cells of the pancreas can still produce. The glibenclamide dosage form that is on the market is a conventional oral tablet which has various disadvantages in terms of pharmacokinetics. Based on this, it is necessary to develop a more effective drug delivery system for glibenclamide in order to avoid first-pass metabolism so as to increase the bioavailability of glibenclamide, namely by making mucoadhesive buccal tablets. This glibenclamide mucoadhesive buccal tablet is formulated using a variety of mucoadhesive polymers, namely CMC Na and oleic acid as enhancers. The manufacture of four mucoadhesive buccal tablet formulas used the direct compression method. The results of the weight uniformity test showed that they did not meet the NP requirements specified, all formulas had an NP of more than 15. The tablet hardness test also showed results that did not meet the test requirements. However, the results of the physical properties of the brittleness, pH and swelling index showed the results that met the test requirements. In this research, the optimum variation of CMC Na polymer and oleic acid as enhancers to physical properties (hardness, brittleness, pH, swelling ability) and the release of glibenclamide mucoadhesive tablets were CMC Na of 37.5 mg and oleic acid of 3.5. ml.

TINGKAT KEPUASAN PASIEN BPJS RAWAT JALAN TERHADAP PELAYANAN PANAH RSUD GENTENG BANYUWANGI

The "PANAH" programme is one of the innovative Pharmacy Installation services at RSUD Genteng. PANAH is an abbreviation of Pangkas Antrian Ambil Obat Harian. This program is a new program and there has never been a measurement of the level of satisfaction so that it is necessary to measure the level of satisfaction.This study aims to determine the level of satisfaction of patients served by the “PANAH” program at RSUD Genteng based on five dimensions of service quality, namely tangible, reliability, responsiveness, empathy, assurance.The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research with cross sectional design and the sample technique used is total sampling. Samples taken were 72 patients. Technique of answering data using a questionnaire.Based on the results of the study obtained as follows. On the dimensions of physical evidence (tangible) 43 respondents were satisfied (59,72%), 29 respondents were quite satisfied (40,28%). On the credibility dimension (reliability) 45 respondents were satisfied (62,5%), 27 respondents were quite satisfied (37,5%). On the dimension of responsiveness (responsiveness) 45 respondents were satisfied (62,5%), 27 respondents were quite satisfied (37,5%). On the dimension of empathy (emphaty) 42 respondents were satisfied (58,33%), 30 respondents were quite satisfied (41,67%). On the assurance dimension 41 respondents were satisfied (56,94%), 31 respondents were quite satisfied (43,06%). In the response of fifth dimension, namely tangible, reliability, responsiveness, empathy, assurance 52 respondents were satisfied (72,22%), 20 respondents were quite satisfied (27,78%), there were no respondents who were less satisfied and dissatisfied.

THE LEVEL OF MOTHER'S KNOWLEDGE IN HANDLING FEVER IN CHILDREN IN SUCI VILLAGE, PANTI JEMBER SUB-DISTRICT

Fever is a condition often found in toddlers. Fever is a condition when the body temperature is above normal temperature (36-37ºC). The general objective of the study was to describe the level of knowledge of mothers in handling fever in children under five years old in Suci village, Panti Jember district. The research used a descriptive design. Samples were taken by random samplingand obtained 81 mothers who have toddlers. This research instrument uses a questionnaire. The results showed that the level of mother's knowledge in handling fever in toddlers in the realm of know was 86%, in the realm of understand was 76%, and in the realm of application was 75%. It can be concluded that the level of mother's knowledge in handling fever in toddlers in Suci village, Panti Jember sub-district in the realm of know and in the realm of understand was a good criterion, and in the realm of application was a fairly good criterion.\Keywords: toddlers, fever, mother's knowledge level

LEVEL OF PATIENT SATISFACTION TOWARDS PHARMACY SERVICES IN KIMIA FARMA TALANGSARI PHARMACY

Pharmacy is one of the health service place that has product and service activities that are highly dependent on patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction can be used as a benchmark for companies to develop their business in the future. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of patient satisfaction with pharmaceutical services at Kimia Farma Pharmacy Talangsari Jember. The type of this research was qualitative descriptive using cross sectional study. The population were patients who came to buy prescription or non-prescription drugs at the Kimia Farma Pharmacy Talangsari Jember in June 2020 with a total samples of 100 patients. The result showed that patient satisfaction to the services at Kimia Farma Pharmacy Talangsari Jember were quiet satisfied in reliability dimensions (60%) and tangible dimensions (55%) also in responsiveness dimensions (48%) and less satisfied in empathy dimensions (54%) and assurance dimensions (41%). PROFIL KADAR TRIGLISERIDA PASIEN HIPERTRIGLISERIDEMIA SETELAH PENGGUNAAN GEMFIBROZIL 300 mg DI POLIKLINIK PRATAMA POLITEKNIK NEGERI JEMBER

Penyakit kardiovaskular merupakan penyebab kematian utama didunia dan jumlah kasus penyakit ini telah mengalami peningkatan selama satu decade terakhir. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah hipertrigliserida. Hipertrigliseridemia atau tingginya kadar trigliserida darah merupakan salah satu kelainan fraksi lipid yang berhubungan dengan peningkatan resiko penyakit kardiovaskular Penurunan kadar trigliserida dalam darah dapat dilakukan dengan terapi Gemfibrozil. Gemfibrozil adalah regulator lipid plasma yang dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol total, kolesterol LDL, kolesterol VLDL dan trigliserida serta meningkatkan kolesterol HDL. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas gemfibrozil 300 mg terhadap kadar trigliserida pada pasien hipertrigliseridemia di Poliklinik Pratama Negeri Jember (periode Mei-Juli 2020). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif observasional dengan metode pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Pengukuran kadar trigliserida dilakukan pada 60 pasien sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan gemfibrozil 300 mg. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, persentase penurunan setelah menggunakan gemfibrozil 300 mg terendah sebesar 10,27 ± 8,64% dan tertinggi sebesar 40,40 ± 12,38%. Rata-rata kadar trigliserida sebelum penggunaan gemfibrozil 300 mg sebesar 295,35 ± 35 mg / dl dan rata-rata kadar trigliserida setelah penggunaan gemfibrozil 300 mg adalah 196,75 ± 49,59 mg / dl.

PENGGUNAAN KATALIS MgF2 DALAM SINTESIS SENYAWA TURUNAN AMOKSISILIN

The synthesis of amoxicillin derivatives was carried out by reaction of amoxicillin with p-aminophenol which was catalyzed by MgF2. The aims of this research was to characterize amoxicillin derivatives. The compounds have been characterized by physical and chemical tests including organoleptic test, melting point test, pH test, Rf value test and maximum wavelength test. The results showed that the compounds having physical characteristics including organoleptic was brown powder and bitter taste with 238°C melting point. The chemical characteristic showed that Rf value was about 0.6, a pH was 6,1 and a maximum wavelength was 311 nm.
