The purpose of this study is to improve teacher discipline, namely time attendance and time to carry out learning. This study consisted of two cycles where each cycle consisted of four activity stages, namely the action plan stage, the action implementation stage, the observation stage and the reflection stage. The results showed that there was a very significant increase in teacher time discipline through the application of Reward and Punishment. In the category of teacher attendance at school, in the pre-cycle it was only 29.41% but in the second cycle it increased to 88.24%. For the category of carrying out learning activities, it also increased from 41.18% in the pre-cycle to 100% in the second cycle. Like wise for the category of ending learning, where in the pre-cycle it only reached 17.65%, it increased to 94.12%.

This study aims to see whether the application of the Make A Match model can increase the activity and learning outcomes of Islamic Cultural History material on the history of the development of Indonesian Islam using the Make A Match method for class IX-4 students of MTsN 2 Aceh Besar for the 2019/2020 academic year. The research subjects were subject teachers and class IX-4 students of MTsN 2 Aceh Besar which consisted of 34 students, namely 24 female students and 10 of them male students. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). This cycle consists of two parts, cycle I and cycle II, each of which consists of four stages including: planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. data collection methods using, written tests, observation sheets and documentation. Data analysis was per-formed using the comparison of the achievement of the learning outcomes of each cycle, marked by an increase in classical completeness criteria. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers in the pre-cycle, the results were 44.11% (15 students) and 55.88% (19 students) had not completed. In the first cycle, 67.64% (23 students) experienced completeness and 32.35% (11 students) who had not com-pleted. Whereas in cycle II there was an increase where students who had completed as much as 88.23% (30 students) and who had not completed were 11.76% (4 students). Then conclude that the results per cycle of the KKM criteria for students in cycles I and II have increased by 20.59%.
