Social isolation during the pandemic has exacerbated the problems of psychological support for families with a child with sensory impairments. The problem of analyzing the role of parents in correcting the development of children with disabilities, in particular, with sensory impairments, is examined from the standpoint of their functional responsibilities, but the actual state of affairs, in particular, the choice of reaction and adaptation strategies of the parents in families with such children, taking into account modern technological possibilities of correcting the health status of the children themselves. The article presents the generalized results of a study of coping behavior of parents in families with children with hearing impairments, conducted in 2018-2021 on the basis of the St. Petersburg State Public Healthcare Institution "Children's City Surdological Center". The problems that parents face when choosing strategies and models of coping behavior are systematized and are presented from the point of view of the psychological analysis of the social attitude toward the role and status of a child within a family.

The article is devoted to the problem of cognitive assessment of emotional response in children with mental retardation. The study involved 80 schoolchildren in grades 3-4, including mothers of 40 children with mental retardation and 40 children with normal mental development, the average age of children is 9.1 years. Methods have been developed and implemented, aimed at identifying the characteristic features of the cognitive assessment of emotional response in primary school age. Identified and analyzed the distinctive features of the ability of primary schoolchildren to identify, differentiate, be aware and verbalize emotional reactions in various situations. The difference in understanding, awareness and ability of children to correlate emotional reactions with past situations in life was determined (emotional memory).

The article deals with the psychological problem of codependency. Codependency defined as a system of individual personality traits that determine the specifics of the interaction of a person`s codependency with the outside world. Using the F Zimbardo methodology, the features of the time perspective of a person`s codependency are investigated. The results obtained indicate that codependent men and women are characterized by temporal priorities, which are primarily aimed at the present. The psychological characteristics of codependents in the «dependent codependent» system is determined both by the presence of common features and interrelationships in the behavior and orientation of the individual, as well as by certain differences. The prospects for the development of psychotherapeutic and rehabilitation and preventive programs for addicts and codependents are noted.

The aim of the work was: To determine the methods of protection and behavior of the subject in stressful situations, for their effective overcoming. The following techniques were used in the work: 1) Methodology for diagnosing psychological typologies. 2) Research of individual coping strategies. E. Heim. 3) Methodology "Coping - behavior in stressful situations". Results: According to the results of the first method, the defense mechanism - denial, prevails, and according to the third method, coping oriented towards avoidance prevails. Also, for all methods, the results about a low level of prevalence of emotions coincided. The subject does not resort to emotional defenses and behavior on rare occasions. He tries to rationally think about the situation and find a way out of it. Conclusions: The subject is expected to have a stronger understanding of his psychological defenses and self-control. Recommendations for skillfully managing your own emotions and behavior both in stressful situations and in more emotionally calm situations. You need to treat yourself, your body and soul with great respect and unconditional respect. And most importantly, love yourself. It is important to master the basics of self-regulation with the help of voluntary control of well-being and controlled harmonization of mood. Continue in the direction of comprehending the miracle of transformative creativity of conscious development. The choice in the systematic replenishment of energy always has a person who knows himself, his needs and ways to satisfy them.

The article is devoted to the problem of the development of cognitive processes, namely, mental activity, in older preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment. The study involved 300 older preschoolers (155 boys and 145 girls), of whom 150 preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment, studying in speech therapy groups, and 150 preschoolers with normal speech development, average age 5,5 years. The distinctive features of the development of thought processes in preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment in comparison with children with normal speech development have been identified and analyzed. The degree of formation of the ability to generalize and highlight significant features, build logical connections and identify cause-and-effect relationships in preschoolers has been determined. The prevailing types of thinking in preschool children have been revealed.

The article is devoted to the problem of the emotional attitude of mothers to children with disabilities. The study involved 247 mothers of children with disabilities - 67 mothers of children with mental retardation, 60 mothers of children with general speech underdevelopment, 60 mothers of children with mental retardation and 60 mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder, the average age of children is 7.4 years. The distinctive features of the emotional attitude of mothers to children with various nosologies were identified and analyzed according to criteria such as justifying expectations, optimal emotional contact, excessive concentration on the child (overprotection), and emotional distance from the child (hypocaution). The emotional involvement of the mother in the process of interaction with a child with disabilities was determined.
