A healthy mental status of students plays an important role in getting quality of education. Hence, research on the prediction of college students’ mental health status is of great importance and considered as a hot area of research. In this specific research study, back propagation (BP) algorithm is adopted to learn verities of characteristics of different students from the historical data of the students including: psychological characteristics, basic personal characteristics, and socio-economic characteristics. In the initial stage of the modeling, data preprocessing steps are used to prepare the data to be used by the BP algorithm for building model. The rationales behind the use of BP algorithm are its capability of handling heterogeneity of data and exploring correlations among different characteristics. The proposed model enhances the capability of BP algorithm for risk prediction of psychological problem of the students and achieves higher precision of psychological problem prediction. The results obtained show that the error between the predicted and measured values is 0.88%.

Abstract Aiming at the intelligent needs of psychological state assessment of university students, the text information-based psychological problem identification approach is investigated in the paper. This approach uses the text of student forums within universities as the database and introduces the convolutional neural network (CNN) model in deep learning, which contains a convolutional layer, a pooling layer, and a fully connected layer. After the convolution is completed, the convolution result is de-linearized by the activation function, and then pooling is performed to improve the fitting ability of the network for nonlinearities. For data processing, behavioral features attribute features, content features, and social relationship features are extracted from text information as the input of the CNN by using the decision tree. The psychological lexicon of expertise (LIWC) is used to enhance the efficiency of text word frequency statistics when performing text content extraction. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method, simulations are performed in the open dataset of CLPsyh2017 ReachOut Forum, and the FastText method is used as a comparison. The results show that the CNN model achieves an accuracy of 0.71 in the full-sample domain, which is significantly higher than that of the FastText model at 0.64. In the early warning evaluation of mental states, the CNN performance is better than that of FastText.

The aim of this work it's the identification of depressive symptomatology in people with type II diabetes. Among the literature, associations have been found between both, even considering depression as a possible risk identifier for developing Diabetes Mellitus. Due to this need to identify factors that affect depressive symptomatology in the population with diabetes, we sought to develop a classification model to determine which factors affect the aggravation of this psychological problem, and subsequently confirm these results using logistic regression models and cross-validation. A non-experimental cross-sectional research design was used. Using a non-probabilistic sampling by convenience, we worked with 200 people and found various factors that influenced depressive symptomatology in people with diabetes, according to the degree of depression, with negative attitudes towards oneself being a decisive factor in establishing the type of diagnosis. In this sense, for "Normal" depressive symptomatology, the most important factor was Impairment of performance; for "Mild" symptomatology, somatic alterations were observed; for "Moderate" symptomatology, sleep disturbances; and for "Severe" depressive symptomatology, the most notable somatic alterations were observed. It is argued the need to establish filters between "Normal" depressive symptomatology and those that could be an obstacle to achieve good adherence to treatment, considering contextual and biological aspects, the last in terms of brain activation.

The proper definition of geriatrics is not easy to define. It can be said it is the health care / medical care provided to the elderly age group people of the society. Old/elderly is also preferred over the geriatric term but is not that precise, sixty-five years is said to be the age group coming into the geriatric group, but some of the people do not need any medical care until the age of seventy- seventy years. Biological or physiological impairment, as well as socioeconomic circumstances, can affect functional status. Their functional ability determines the elderly's capacity to stay at home. Doctors should reasonably expect to care for an increasing number of elderly people with complex medical and psychosocial issues. As a result of these challenges and issues, difficult ethical dilemmas may arise. As a result, practitioners should be aware of ethical difficulties that arise frequently when caring for older patients. Poor patient-clinician communication can lead to ethical difficulties; as a result, we present practical guidelines for better communication. People were more likely to develop physical disabilities, despair, and cognitive impairment as they got older, especially those in the 80-89 age bracket. Current data for India's old provide a foreshadowing of a new challenges if programme managers and policymakers do not take prompt action in this area. There is a need to raise awareness of the medical and socioeconomic difficulties that India's elderly confronts and initiatives for improving their quality of life.

The article analyzes the basic principles, stages and objectives of psychosynthesis in the provision of medical and psychological care to patients with eating disorders (ED). It is noted that a patients' compliance with dietary recommendations is often impossible due to the low level of their self-awareness, reflection, volitional self-regulation and trauma of the individual, which is experienced as an unconscious psychological problem that requires urgent solution. Nutritionists are invited to provide professional assistance based on psychosynthesis in cooperation with a psychologist in order to optimize a holistic approach to the treatment of ED through the psychological support of the patient (client) directly during medical counseling. The basic methodology of psychosynthesis is presented through a theoretical analysis of the principles of polypsychism and self-determination, which are explained through the R. Assagioli`s idea of the psyche, the concept of unifying centers and the theory of subpersonalities. It has been suggested that food and eating behavior replace the subject's self-consciousness (“I”) and become unifying centers around which the whole personality is neurotized. It leads to the displacement of not only traumatic experience that caused the disorder itself, but also the unmet personal need satisfaction of which is often ignored in modern treatment practice. The authors developed the stages and tasks of psychosynthesis as its special methodology for working with ED and began to test it in the form of an individual care program in medical and psychological practice. Particular attention in highlighting the preliminary results of the implementation of their developments is paid to the development of patients' ability to perform a voluntary act, which permeates all stages of treatment by psychosynthesis and is aimed not only at the change of eating behavior but also at self-actualization of a personality. The article briefly presents a partial methodology of psychosynthesis, which includes techniques of disidentification, image transformation and construction of an ideal model.

The relevance of the article is caused by the presence of a large proportion of anxious adolescents who need a timely solution to the existing psychological problem. The aim of the article is to test ideas related to the justification of a cycle of ten training sessions "To be in harmony with yourself", providing scientific and methodological equipment for the process of understanding the causes of adolescent anxiety, as well as ways to prevent or overcome it, taking into account common and differentiated situational and personal resources. The training provides for the possibility of mastering ways to reduce anxiety at the early stages of establishing socio-psychological contact by a teenager. It provides the identification of their own personal resources, the development of ways to use them in situations of increased anxiety, the consolidation of self-regulation skills, taking into account general features and the characteristic type of anxiety. The emphasis is placed on consolidating the experience of positive changes, taking into account the real conditions of the manifestation of reactive or personal anxiety. The approach to creating psychological training for anxious adolescents based on the proposed ideas can be used in applied research and in the professional activity of a teacher-psychologist.

Introduction: Depression is the most common psychological problem in patients with renal failure, and it can lead to mortality in severe cases. Effective interventions are required to promote mental health in patients on hemodialysis with various types of mental disorders. The current study aimed to evaluate the effect of emotional disclosure by writing on depression of patients on hemodialysis in Iran. Methods: This clinical trial study was carried out on 140 patients undergoing hemodialysis in hemodialysis centers of Kerman. Patients were randomly assigned into two groups of intervention and control after signing the written consent forms and completing the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS 21). The intervention group was requested to write daily the deepest emotions and intrusive thoughts within 15 to 20 minutes in four consecutive days. The control group received routine care. Then, the questionnaire was recompleted two weeks later. Finally, the data were analyzed by SPSS (version 13) using independent t-test and paired t-test. Results: The mean depression score was either moderate or high. While depression scores seemed to decrease in the intervention group after the intervention, the depression scores continued to rise following the intervention in the control group. The difference in depression scores was statistically significant between the two groups before and after the intervention. Conclusion: Emotional disclosure by writing can be effective on the level of depression in patients on hemodialysis.Simus adi omnimodipsa sam fugita dolenistiae inveles est doluptat.
