One of the tasks of the modern educational process is to support students’ selfdetermination in personal, social and professional spheres. The successful implementation of this task depends on the professional skills of teachers and ensures the formation of students' worldview, a strategy for their development and self-realization in accordance with social, moral and ethical norms. However, in practice, the readiness of teachers to complete this task is not sufficient for its successful implementation. This article is an attempt to systematize the historical background for the development of training teachers to support students’ self-determination, to identify the teachers’ functions to support students’ self-determination, to determine the readiness of teachers to support students’ self-determination. The methods of comparative analysis and synthesis of scientific knowledge were used. The results of this study can be used to plan activities to estimate the teachers’ readiness for students’ self-determination support, for programs of additional education and teachers’ advanced training.

Modern requirements to the specialists in physical training and sport are determined by a number of factors. They are: evolutionary transformations in social sphere, integration of physical training and sport into country's economy, its reorientation to general physical culture, and a rapid development of sports’ industry. These factors determine a new competence to be developed in future specialists in the field of physical culture and sport, namely, a managerial one that helps to manage educational and economic processes. Such management can be effective only if specialists have a well-formed managerial competence. The purpose of the article is to determine the content of the managerial competence in the framework of physical culture and sport, to describe the process of its formation graduate level, to identify approaches and principles to implement this process, and to develop a technique to form the managerial competence in future specialists in the field of physical culture and sport. The study was carried out in line with the idea of the step-by-step formation of managerial competence using innovative forms, methods and means of teaching students. The results of the study can be used in teaching undergraduate students in the direction of “Management in the field of physical culture and sport”.

The paper aims to study the methodological and theoretical foundations of the development of innovations in the field of continuing professional education (CPE). The methodological foundations of the study of the phenomenon of innovation in CPE (general laws of dialectics, systemic, synergetic and acmeological approaches) are identified and characterized. The external factors of the education sector cased by globalization, internationalization, digitalization and the “force majeure” of pandemic were determined and their influence on the development of CPE in the first quarter of the XXI century was revealed. The features of the current continuing education were revealed. They were developed both under the influence of environmental factors and as a result of internal tendencies of self-organization. On the basis of a theoretical analysis of the requirements for education caused by these factors, the types of CPE problems were formulated. The necessary nature of educational innovations was substantiated. The role of innovations in resolving the problems of continuing education was described. Typical modern innovations and their role in the development of continuing education as an aspect of a person's lifelong education were characterized.

In today's rapidly changing world, the value of history education is undeniable. The article reveals the importance of the formation of historical perception in preschool childhood with the aim to develop temporal and spatial representations, fostering respect for the culture of peoples that inhabit native land, for their traditions and lifestyles. The conceptual apparatus is defined that includes “historical perception in preschool childhood”, “the system of formation of historical perception in preschool childhood”, “pedagogical conditions”. The purpose of the article is to determine the system for the formation of historical perception in preschool childhood, to consider and determine the pedagogical conditions for the effective implementation of this system in preschool education. To achieve this goal the methods of system analysis and modeling were used. The article substantiates the need to use a complex of pedagogical conditions, the implementation of which will contribute to the formation of historical perception in preschool childhood. The pedagogical conditions are calendar planning with the introduction of the historical aspect into the educational process of a preschool educational organization; project activities. For the first time, these pedagogical conditions were considered as a unity. The result of the research is the system for the formation of historical perception in preschool childhood that can be used in the work of preschool educational organizations and organizations of additional education to form historical perception in preschool childhood in the context of the continuity of the system of historical education.
