The phenomenon of pedagogical heritage of an outstanding scientist, teacher and organizer of scientific work Vasily Loburets is discovered in the article. It is proved that his scientific and pedagogical conception is the driving force for retro revival of the progressive achievements of the national higher education and is an important factor in the production of new pedagogical knowledge, creation of innovative educational systems and technologies. V. Loburets is a prominent educator who combining scientific and educational activities for over 50 years (1956–2006), taught historical sciences at V.G. Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University. It has been found that the scientist has made the significant didactic and organizational efforts to the establishment of historical education system. V. Loburets is the founder of the national scientific and pedagogical school, the author of the original textbooks, scientific methodological manuals, and a brilliant lecturer. For his meaningful pedagogical activity he was awarded many state awards.It is established that the combination of fundamentality and innovativeness as a characteristic feature is observed in all the components of scientist’s creative work, in particular: development of methodology of scientific and educational knowledge; enrichment the content, methods and forms of teaching historical disciplines; improvement lecturing skills; writing textbooks and manuals for higher schools; establishing the author’s scientific school.The study proved that the idea concerning the defining role of education in socio-economic and cultural development of society had been substantiated by V. Loburets. In the current context of growing crisis phenomena in society – environmental, informational, demographic, national and others – humanity consciously refers to prognostic and anticipatory functions of education. Not by accident the XXI century is proclaimed “the century of education” by UNESCO. Today there is an axiomatic view that without fundamental education it is impossible to realize personality, to build a state. Only the citizens’ level of education determines the place of the state in the global society and the development of civilization. Therefore his idea of about the defining role of education, in particular technical one, in socio-economic and cultural development of society, the necessity of its development for the progress of humanity and state sounds very topically today. The scientist had proved the idea of continuous education, the importance of its content renovation through the integration of scientific knowledge. In this regard, he emphasized systemically important nature of didactic content of the academic disciplines, which had been considered by the scientists as pedagogically developed systems that match students’ capabilities and bring their understanding of the foundations of modern science. The study proved that the creative work of V. Loburets is a set of theoretical ideas, methodological achievements and advanced experience of activity according to the criteria of significance and topicality, thoroughness and perspectivity, intensity and time appropriateness that should consider expediently as a combined phenomenon of fundamentality and innovativeness.

The article is dedicated to a prominent scientist, public figure and administrator, Doctor of Historical Sciences Vasily Dimitrievich Dimitriev. The article traces the path of his formation as a researcher, teacher, organizer of historical education and science. The professor’s main biographical data, scientific problems developed by him are analyzed. The stages of his work at the Chuvash Research Institute of Language, Literature and History and I.N. Ulianov Chuvash State University are determined. Thanks to his brilliant analytical abilities, Vasily Dimitrievich became a specialist in Russian history, but also in ethnography, source studies and related scientific disciplines. The scientist created a whole galaxy of followers. He is considered as their teacher by 10 doctors and 40 candidates of sciences, in whose training he participated. Among the students who defended their dissertations in the last years of the scientist’s life were A.A. Chibis on the theme “Monasteries of the Right Bank of the Kazan Land in the Second Half of the XVI – First Half of the XVIII Centuries: Functioning, Land Ownership and Economy” (2011) and A.K. Kuznetsov on the theme “State Archival Service of the Chuvash Republic: the History of Reorganization and Functioning in 1991–2004” (2011). V.D. Dimitriev’s research is a notable help for historians of the neighboring regions of the Middle Volga region. The scientific heritage of Vasily Dimitrievich will be preserved for many years in the works of his followers and students, historical works and collections of documents. Despite a considerable number of published articles devoted to the scientist’s life, work, his research work, the historian’s scientific archive is valuable, which is stored in the Chuvash State Humanitarian Institute, including more than 200 volumes of various documents from the central and regional archives of the country. V.D. Dimitriev’s personal fund was passed by his will to the State Historical Archive of the Chuvash Republic. Thanks to the efforts of the scientist, the collected array of sources will enable followers to open new pages both in the history of the Middle Volga region and in the biography of the scientist.

Olena Apanovych is an outstanding researcher of Ukrainian Cossacks, who rose as a scientist in academic environment in 1945–1950s. In those times the functioning of state archives were renewed and the scarcity of professionals came up. Being a philologist, future famous historian accidentally became an employee of Central State Historical Archives of the USSR in Kyiv. She did not have a basic historical education and studied in a postgraduate department during 1945–1948 (Specialization “History of Ukraine”) which she successfully graduated. Despite all difficulties, young researcher managed to combine the two activities simultaneously. In 1950 she successfully defended thesis. During studing she gained both theoretical and practical experience.While studing at postgraduate department, she even helped her colleagues and friends. When she was leading the department of “old acts”, she initiated Polish language studying, paleology, basic archiving were arranged for other activities that supported professional growth of archive workers.While being influenced by the Kyiv academic society, including PhD lecturers Fedor Shevchenko, Serhii Maslov, Vycheslav Strelskii, PhD colleagues Ivan Butych and Tetyana Slydikova, and under the direct influence of PhD supervisor Kostia Huslystyi and own initiative to self-growth, Olena Apanovych carried on with her development as personality and a professional and continued to be a part of Kyiv intellectuals environment.

The purpose of this article is to offer a clear and concise overview of the didactic perspectives on the interpretation of historical sources that have been developed in recent years. To this end, we have considered it appropriate to dedicate a few paragraphs to the problems of current historical education and to the proposals that seek to remedy this situation. Likewise, we have specified the scope of historical thinking in history teaching and presented the main research associated with it. The exposition of these details has served as a preamble to the central development of the topic. In the main section, we have presented the treatment of historical sources as a methodological process, intimately related to their interpretation, which accounts for the skills and abilities that the student must develop for the satisfaction of historical research problems. As conclusions we emphasize the importance of the use of historical sources in the disciplinary and methodological understanding of the subject by the students. Finally, regarding the methodology used for the elaboration of this work, we have resorted to the bibliographic analysis of various sources of information, including theses, research articles and books, in order to provide a comprehensive overview of the topic we have proposed to investigate.

Ibrahim Issa's novel (The Blood of Hussein) employs the historical incident in the service of the narrative theme of the narrative text itself, and despite the dominance of the historical text on most of the pages of the novel, it remains within the narrative rather than the historical framework. For the clarity of the creator's goal of evoking this historical incident without others. This study, marked by (historical education and different questions in the novel (The Blood of Hussein)) aims to explain the interpretive reading and the questions that are silent in the places of historical narration and how to use them in building the plot of the novel, so the research was carried out on several axes that dealt with the history of the novel, and the mechanisms of producing the narrative meaning from the historical document As well as the psychological-ideological conflicts and the imagined pattern in which the main theme of the novel was manifested in spite of its small written space. The study found results, the most important of which are: the prevalence of psychological and ideological conflict over the main characters of the novel, the determination of the narrative type to naturalize this novel, as well as the narrator’s attempt not to surrender to the historical incident as it is, but on the contrary, he proceeds to discuss and refute it at many times.

Working as a history teacher in two gymnasiums in Orhei District and also as a Ph.D. student, in the field of History at the University “Valahia” of Târgoviște (Romania) I had the opportunity to discover the epic of history textbooks. Recently, the scientific concerns are directly related to the study of history textbooks in the Republic of Moldova and Romania, the concepts of war and peace in the historical educational ensemble, and cultural, national, European, and universal values. Recent personal publications highlight elements of natural, cultural, and ethnocultural heritage emanating from all history textbooks. My research and articles are focused on similarities and differences of history curricula on both banks of the Prut and the reform of historical education in these countries with a special focus on the development, production, and dissemination of history textbooks.

Every year the number of visitors to the Indonesian Soldier Museum is decreasing. Even though this museum has a role to support the awareness of defending the state of the Indonesian people. The need to do marketing for museums serves to introduce museums to the Indonesian public. This study aims to analyze marketing strategies and find out various obstacles and obstacles in supporting the awareness of State Defense. This study uses qualitative methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The resulting data will then be analyzed to be able to find the right marketing strategy to attract the attention of tourists, both from within and outside the country, as well as the obstacles in attracting visitors. The Soldier Museum functions as a historical education facility and has an important role to love Indonesia, increase national and state awareness, strengthen Pancasila as the state ideology and be willing to sacrifice for the country and nation.

Abstract Structure and Educational Values Contained in the legend of Asal Mula Nama Pulang Pisau. The research is aimed to describe (1) The structure of The Legend of Asal Usul Nama Pulang Pisau (The Origin of The Name Pulang Pisau) and (2) The educational values contained in The Legend of Asal Usul Nama Pulang Pisau. This research applied a qualitative approach and descriptive method. The data of The Legend of Asal Usul Nama Pulang Pisau were obtained through interviews with informants. Based on the analysis of the structure of the legend and the educational values, the description of the intrinsic elements is obtained, such as themes, plot, characters, settings, mandates, values of moral education, religion, heroism, history, and customs / traditions which contained in The Legend of Asal Usul Nama Pulang Pisau. The conclusions of this research are: The Legend of Asal Usul Nama Pulang Pisau conveys the theme of the origin of place names, uses chronological plot, does not mentions too many characters and names of characters, the place sets along the rivers and in the forest, the time setting is in the Asang era, and delivers the message of cooperation and mutual respect. The Legend of Asal Usul Nama Pulang Pisau contains several values such as moral education of being careful in making decisions, traditional education of nomadic traditions and mutual cooperation, religious education which takes form in the rituals, the historical education which can be seen in the distribution of the indigenous Dayak Ngaju community, and the value of heroism and perseverance which is reflected in the character’s attitude. Key words: legendary, structure, education values, ngaju Abstrak Struktur dan Nilai Pendidikan dalam Legenda Asal Mula Nama Pulang Pisau. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) Struktur Legenda Asal Mula Nama Pulang Pisau, dan (2) nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam Legenda Asal Mula Nama Pulang Pisau. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini, yaitu penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan metode deskriptif dari sumber data Legenda Asal Mula Nama Pulang Pisau yang diperoleh melalui hasil wawancara dengan informan/narasumber. Berdasarkan analisis struktur cerita dan nilai pendidikan, maka diperoleh deskripsi unsur intrinsik, seperti tema, alur, tokoh, latar, amanat, nilai-nilai pendidikan moral, agama, kepahlawanan, sejarah, dan adat/tradisi yang terkandung dalam Legenda Asal Mula Nama Pulang Pisau. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: Legenda Asal Mula Nama Pulang Pisau mengusung tema asal usul nama tempat, menggunakan alur maju, tidak terlalu banyak menyebutkan tokoh dan nama tokoh, berlatar tempat di sekitar aliran sungai dan hutan, berlatar waktu di zaman Asang, menyematkan amanat gotong Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra dan Pembelajarannya Vol 11, No 2, Oktober 2021 ISSN 2089-0117 (Print) Page 262 - 274 ISSN 2580-5932 (Online) Rambe, / Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra dan Pembelajarannya 11 (2) 2021, 262-274 Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra dan Pembelajarannya ǀ 263 royong dan hormat-menghormati.
