Fatigue is one of the common symptoms that adversely affect the quality of life of patients with heart failure. It has been reported that fatigue seen in heart failure is caused by conditions such as deterioration of peripheral circulation due to decrease in oxygen delivery, autonomic nervous system abnormalities and deterioration in the strength of the respiratory muscles. Breathing exercises are one of the integrative applications that can increase oxygen delivery due to the functional connection of the heart and lungs providing relief from fatigue. In the literature, breathing exercises have a wide range of breathing techniques that create changes in breathing form and rate. Many studies have found that breathing exercises reduce fatigue, and can have significant effects on patient care and clinical outcomes. Nurses have a major impact on patient outcomes such as reducing fatigue in heart failure patients and improving health-related quality of life. For this reason, it is very important to include breathing exercises in nursing practices. In this regard, the importance of breathing exercises in the management of fatigue due to heart failure has been addressed in this review.

In the pandemic process caused by COVID-19, considering the working conditions of postgraduate nursing students who are in the profession of nursing, it is important to investigate the problems they experience regarding distance education. While there are many studies in the literature examining the views of undergraduate students on distance education, there has been no study investigating the problems experienced in relation to distance education by postgraduate students in the pandemic period in particular.

Dermatological patients are a distinctive group of patients who experience social stigmatisation, exclusion, and a significant decrease in the quality of life. In the healthcare delivery setting, medical staff (especially nurses) are expected to ensure patients with skin diseases' comfort and bio-psycho-social well-being. Undoubtedly, the realisation of this goal is facilitated by the staff's dermatological knowledge of the causes of the disease and its impact on the patient and their quality of life. The study was based on the opinions of nurses not working in dermatology departments, focusing on their perception of patients with skin problems and selected issues related to their quality of life.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in the world. Despite developments in personalized treatment, lung cancer is still problematic for therapy due to resistance and metastasis. Moreover, heterogeneity of lung cancers makes treatment difficult. Therefore, there is an urgent need to find novel prognostic and diagnostic markers. Desmosomal proteins seem to be a good candidate to be acknowledged due to their function in the cell. Desmosomal proteins are known to be responsible for accurate cell–to–cell adhesion in physiological conditions. In cancer cells, the destabilization of desmosomes by the loss of proteins promotes the process of epithelial-mesenchymal transition, which is strongly connected to metastasis. Desmoglein 3 is one of the desmosomal proteins often deregulated in cancer, including lung cancer. Taking the above, our goal was to analyze the results on DSG3 function and its clinical implications in lung cancer.
