The article examines the impact of the great global economic crisis of 2008-2020. on Eurasian integration, the relationship between the old and the new center of global capitalism. An analysis is made of what results, for what reasons and how the further construction of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will lead in the face of the unfriendliness of Western states and a simultaneous crisis of their strategy in the economy and politics. Namely: the formation of a large continental market, a stable system of interstate cooperation, the implementation of an interethnic protectionist policy that encourages production and consumption within the EAEU. The prospect of such development makes the project attractive for countries outside Eurasia, which leads to the birth of the Eurasian consensus as an international economic and political agenda. This will largely become decisive for the global economic agenda for 2021-2045, that is, for the period of a new upward wave according to N.D. Kondratyev.

International development assistance policy of the People's Republic of China was launched almost immediately after the formation of the nation-state in 1949, which has made it possible by now to create a solid foundation and an extensive system of international interaction. Nevertheless, today we are witnessing the beginning of a new stage in China's international development assistance policy, which is expressed both in a sharp increase in funding for this field and associated with its use as a mechanism to achieve the goals of the «Chinese Dream», the development of the «Belt and Road Initiative» and promoting the construction of the «Community of common destiny for mankind». As a result, the allocation by Beijing of international assistance, grants and soft loans is becoming one of the most effective ways to strengthen international positions and form a more active foreign policy course.

The task of joining the EU and NATO has been officially announced in Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. Therefore, in this case, we cannot talk about the competition of several integration projects in these countries. Moreover, Eurasian integration, in which Russia actively participates, is viewed by them as a factor of expansion and expansion of Russian political and economic influence. This exacerbates disputes about the prospects for European integration not only in the political establishment of these countries, but also among ordinary citizens who will finance the European aspirations of national elites. Cooperation with the EU and NATO is seen as a tool to overcome the possible "temptation of Eurasian integration" and the military superiority of Russia and its partners. At the same time, the question remains open - whether this desire corresponds to the positions of citizens or is an elite project. The purpose of the article is to analyze the grounds for uniting the efforts of Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine in promoting the idea of European integration and joining NATO, correlating them with the readiness of both the EU and NATO to admit the three post-Soviet countries into their ranks.

The article examinesthe European direction in the foreign policy of Ukraine and Georgia, identifies the limitations of the European integration process for these countries. Among these restrictions, not only the specific parameters and criteria for joining are important, but also the need for the consent of all member countries, as well as the societies of the states applying for membership. An additional unstable factor in this issue is NATO, because joining NATO largely removes the issue of joining the EU, facilitating the European integration process, which can be seen in the example of the accession to the EU of the countries of the former socialist camp. Thus, the entry of Ukraine and Georgia into the EU seems impossible for a large number of reasons.

Sanctions, information and hybrid "wars" are concepts that are used daily when discussing the international situation. However, what is missing is a systemic picture of the latest trends, revealing not the emotional but the "technological" side of current events — around and inside Russia. In a conversation with Vyacheslav Sutyrin, editor-in-chief of Eurasia.Expert, Andrey Ilnitsky, adviser to the Russian defense minister, shared his assessment of the current situation. International confrontation is unfolding today in the form of a "mental war", in order to win which Russia needs to implement the ideology of a "people's empire", master humanitarian technologies of influence, and strengthen allied relations.
