On the construction of green open space Jl. Kinibalu Banjarbaru There is a 6 meters tall slope beneath which the river is lined up during the rainy season and makes the slope exposed by water plus the absence of load or traffic on it make the pore figures on the land is large. Therefore, for protection reason, there is a soil alignment in the construction of soil retaining walls. The planned ground retaining wall type is cantilever and gabion. The stability analysis of the ground retaining walls is done manually and with the help of the Geoslope/W 2018 software. The value of the stability of the style against the bolsters, sliding, and carrying capacity of the soil using manual calculations for cantilever type and Netlon qualifies SNI 8460:2017. And for the overall stability calculation using Geoslope/W 2018 software obtained safety factor (SF) > 1.5. From the analysis, the design of planning can be used because it is safe against the dangers of avalanche.

A competitive mathematical model for the growth of two species is considered in this study. The main goal of the present study is to investigate the roles of two different growth functions: the logistic growth and the food limited growth. We established the main results that determine the asymptotic stability of semi-trivial as well as the coexistence solutions. If higher carrying capacity is embodied for the population following logistic growth then competitive exclusion of a food limited population is imminent and vice versa.GANIT J. Bangladesh Math. The construction of a highway in a hilly area requires attention to the stability of the land on which the road body is laid. On the widening of the road between the cities of Girian-Kema, North Sulawesi, the road body is designed to pass through hillside areas that have a slope of about 36°. In designing the road body in the hilly area must be considered the stability of the slopes on the left and right side of the road, the ability to support the soil and other structures so that the road is in a safe condition. To check the safety of this roadway, three locations of the most critically considered points will be selected to fail. At the location, slope stability analysis was carried out using the MIDAS GTS NX program and obtained the most critical security factors ranging between 1,1 and 1,4. To find out the carrying capacity of the soil, calculated the possibility of roads supporting the most extreme load using standard a crated load of 80 kN, from the analysis is known that the stress that occurs if strengthened with soil geogrid can support the load better by 46,1042 kN/m2, and obtained efficiency of 18,83%.Pembuatan jalan raya di daerah perbukitan memerlukan perhatian terhadap kestabilan tanah tempat badan jalan diletakkan.

High-strength, continuous and uniform filament winding patterns remain challenging to find for non-axisymmetric models under various loading conditions. In this study, various loading conditions are considered in the development of an algorithm for generating uniform winding patterns for axisymmetric and non-axisymmetric mandrel models with flexible rotation at the ends of the mandrel. First, the mandrel surface is divided into sections by uniform quadrilateral elements and the ideal winding angle at each boundary is calculated based on the stress field. Then, stability analysis is used to calculate suitable winding angles as close as possible to the ideal winding angle for each boundary. These suitable winding angles can be used to generate the uniform winding pattern maintaining non-slippage and non-bridging while realizing flexible rotation at both ends of the mandrel. Finally, uniform patterns for various mandrel models are generated based on their respective suitable winding angles. Stress analysis result demonstrates that the wound mandrel generated by the proposed method can have better carrying capacity.

A stability analysis for a single-layer reticulated shell is presented in this paper. The structural buckling modes and critical loads are calculated first. A preliminary security examination is presented based on the results of linear buckling anasys. And then the load-carrying capacity of this structure would be calculated through the geometric nonlinear full-range analysis. Finally a conclusion is deduced that the stable bearing capacity of this structure has met the requirements of the specification.

South Kalimantan is one of the areas that has a lot of swamps. The use of galam wood is an alternative to the construction of landslide resistors on the roadside in swamp areas. Landslides often occur on the edge of road piles in swamp areas. Not infrequently damage due to landslides on several roads. This study aims to determine the effect of galam wood plaster reinforcement on increasing soil carrying capacity and stability of embankment due to the operation of external forces. The factor of manual embankment slope safety with the fellenius slice method shows that SF = 0.857 <1.0 "is not safe" so there will be a collapse on the slope of the embankment. Then the embankment stability analysis is carried out gradually, so that an increase from cu = 1.04 t/m2 to cu = 1.8 t/m2. The results of the analysis carried out manually revealed that the total decrease was = 284.62 cm 285 cm. For the simulation results with the PLAXIS program, it shows that there is a decrease of 3.1 cm.

This paper studied the behavior of two companies using predator prey model as the basis. As the companies are competing constantly, it affects them because their interaction determines the availability of resources for their growth. Considering growth of these companies, the parameters  which were respectively the carrying capacity and competitive impact of either of the competing companies on each other were included in the model. Equilibrium point and their existence criteria were analyzed to find the threshold that will guarantee the coexistence of both companies or collapse of either of them or both. It was shown that both companies can grow and rise simultaneously, (coexist) by dividing their resources correspondingly or that even the slightest change in their competition coefficient can lead to adverse situation, which may cause complete disappearance of one of the companies or both. We conclude that as long as these companies did not operate beyond their effective carrying capacity and equally maintain their respective competitive advantage, coexistence might be achieved. Some simulations are also given to illustrate our results.
