The employment of modern technologies is widespread in our society, so the inclusion of practical activities for education has become essential and useful at the same time. These activities are more noticeable in Engineering, in areas such as cybersecurity, data science, artificial intelligence, etc. Additionally, these activities acquire even more relevance with a distance education methodology, as our case is. The inclusion of these practical activities has clear advantages, such as (1) promoting critical thinking and (2) improving students’ abilities and skills for their professional careers. There are several options, such as the use of remote and virtual laboratories, virtual reality and game-based platforms, among others. This work addresses the development of a new cloud game-based educational platform, which defines a modular and flexible architecture (using light containers). This architecture provides interactive and monitoring services and data storage in a transparent way. The platform uses gamification to integrate the game as part of the instructional process. The CyberScratch project is a particular implementation of this architecture focused on cybersecurity game-based activities. The data privacy management is a critical issue for these kinds of platforms, so the architecture is designed with this feature integrated in the platform components. To achieve this goal, we first focus on all the privacy aspects for the data generated by our cloud game-based platform, by considering the European legal context for data privacy following GDPR and ISO/IEC TR 20748-1:2016 recommendations for Learning Analytics (LA). Our second objective is to provide implementation guidelines for efficient data privacy management for our cloud game-based educative platform. All these contributions are not found in current related works. The CyberScratch project, which was approved by UNED for the year 2020, considers using the xAPI standard for data handling and services for the game editor, game engine and game monitor modules of CyberScratch. Therefore, apart from considering GDPR privacy and LA recommendations, our cloud game-based architecture covers all phases from game creation to the final users’ interactions with the game.

The development of green buildings has become a global issue as global climate change is gradually becoming a serious concern for the future. Government buildings can be categorized as buildings that must comply with green building requirements, because they consume energy, water and other resources with large quantities. The absence of guidelines in maintenance and repair of government buildings will have an impact on the security and comfort of building users. In addition, the absence of guidance regarding the material specifications used will also result in a material stock system for maintenance and repair being ineffective. This study discusses the development of implementation guidelines for maintenance, reparation and determine material specifications for mechanical components design in government own green buildings based on work breakdown structure. This research will detail starting from the sub work section, work package, alternative design, implementation requirements, activities, resources and material specifications. With the implementation guidelines for maintenance, reparation and determine material specifications for mechanical components design in government own green buildings based on work breakdown structure (WBS) expected maintenance and reparation of government buildings can be implemented maximally, according to specifications and functions.

The Sunda Strait tsunami disaster in 2018 claimed the lives of more than 430 people and caused various damage to infrastructure in coastal areas. This disaster also had an impact on the education sector. Schools located in disaster-prone areas are vulnerable to building damage that causes casualties and psychological problems for students. The west coast of Pandeglang Regency is a tsunami-prone area and is home to hundreds of elementary and high school schools in the area. The aim of this study is to analyze of the structural framework for schools affected by the sunda strait tsunami. The research locus was determined by purposive sampling in three locations: MTs Masyariqul Anwar in Labuan, SDN Mekarjaya 3 in Panimbang, and SDN Tamanjaya 2 in Sumur. This research data analysis uses qualitative data analysis techniques by Miles, Huberman and Saldana (2014). This research used disaster school survey form issued by National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) which regulated in Head of BNPB Regulation No. 4 of 2012 on Implementation Guidelines of Disaster Safe Schools. The research finding that MTs Masyariqul Anwar, SDN Mekarjaya 3, and SDN Tamanjaya 2 can be concluded that MTs Masyariqul Anwar and SDN Tamanjaya 2 have a good level of school security with some notes that need to be improved. Meanwhile, SDN Mekarjaya 3 has a sufficient level of school security with several factors that are so inadequate that they must be repaired and improved immediately.

Guidance and Counseling Workshop on Strengthening Character Education in Guidance and Counseling Services for Junior Secondary Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Tabalong Regency was carried out to prepare guidance and counseling teachers who were capable of implementing guidance and counseling services in strengthening character education based on operational guidance and counseling in schools, by the Guidance and Counseling Guidelines for Primary and Secondary Education issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The workshop was held one day, namely on August 26, 2019, with 37 participants. Technically, the implementation of the workshop takes place in 5 stages of activities, namely registration; lectures; sharing experiences; and questions and answers practicum. Resource persons for the workshop activities were lecturers in the guidance and counseling study program. Based on the implementation of this service, it can be concluded that guidance and counseling teachers have an essential role in strengthening character education by using guidance and counseling services based on the Operational Guidance and Counseling Implementation Guidelines. Therefore, it is suggested to be followed up into technical guidance activities in implementing guidance and counseling services with a more specific activity agenda; and become a preliminary study in making guidance and counseling service modules for strengthening character education based on Operational Guidance for Guidance and Counseling Implementation.

This study describes the planning, implementation, and evaluation of industrial work practices in improving student competence and satisfaction of the industrial world as a working partner of a vocational school. The implementation of industrial work practices is in following the dual system education implementation guidelines. Management of industrial work practices from planning, implementation, and evaluation is still experiencing obstacles. The results of the satisfaction survey show that the competence of students is not in by the needs and work culture of the industry, school supervisors are not maximized in monitoring the development and progress of students in the industry, there are still many students who are not competent in operating computers, the industry assignments to students that are not in following the competence of expertise in their field so that the objectives in competency mapping have not been achieved. School supervisors have not completely informed about the involvement of the industrial world business world in the implementation of industrial work practices. Practical work provides additional knowledge and skills of students so that competency gaps in the mapping of competency skills can be minimized, but these competencies do not yet cover the entire competency gap. The implementation of work practice for 3 (three) months is quite effective, because with this duration students perform certain tasks repeatedly to improve student competence in completing assignments and maximum work results, however, it was still found that students were not responsive enough in other assignments given. The evaluation of industrial work practice management with the analysis that has been carried out so far is quite good, but the follow-up actions have not provided an improvement in the performance of the management team as a whole so that the mismatches keep recurring in the implementation of the next work practice.

The objectives of this research are: (1) to study and analyze the status of ownership of a modern shopping center or mall upon some tenure individual rights. (2) to study and analyze the process of grantingownership rights for apartment unit.The method used in this research was normative, that is, a legal research which was based on legal materials obtained from literature that examined legal norms related to the issue of providing ownership rights for apartment units upon some building rights.Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded as follows: (1) PT. G.U. that wanted to have its apartment units certified for ownership had constraints by the absence of  implementation guidelines of Law No. 16 of 1985 (now Act No. 20 of 2011). (2) The principle of horizontal separation is the opposite of attachment principle which states that buildings and plants are integrated to land. (3) In planning the development of apartment, developers of the construction should first pay attention to the layout of the area of city/ county. (4) The construction of a housing project must meet some requirements, they are: administrative requirements, technical requirements and ecological requirements. (5) Prior to certificate of ownership registration upon an apartment unit, certificate of land rights either in the form of property rights, the right to use the land for building and the right to use and manage the land. (6) In the Act of Apartment, if it does not meet the provisions of these rules, there are some sanctions to be given. Process Approach to Knowledge ManagementThe article points out the limited availability of practical implementation guidelines, methods and tools as one of the core issues in the widespread usage of knowledge management (KM) in organizations. The process approach is proposed as an efficient way to understand the scope of knowledge management and to plan its development or improvement, in line with organizational strategy. The role of information technology (IT) in supporting knowledge management is emphasized and key functional groups of IT systems are listed. A sample section of the detailed process model is presented for the KM resource identification master process, with a BPMN graphical visualization. Both the process model and the detailed specification of IT systems supporting knowledge management are considered by the author as complex structures that require to be hosted in a dedicated support environment. Key assumptions of a tool, named KMBoost, are outlined to show how a simple, but interactive toolset can foster the understanding and usage of the KM process model. In the concluding remarks a high level SWOT analysis of the KM process model and the KMBoost tool is conducted.
