This study describes the planning, implementation, and evaluation of industrial work practices in improving student competence and satisfaction of the industrial world as a working partner of a vocational school. The implementation of industrial work practices is in following the dual system education implementation guidelines. Management of industrial work practices from planning, implementation, and evaluation is still experiencing obstacles. The results of the satisfaction survey show that the competence of students is not in by the needs and work culture of the industry, school supervisors are not maximized in monitoring the development and progress of students in the industry, there are still many students who are not competent in operating computers, the industry assignments to students that are not in following the competence of expertise in their field so that the objectives in competency mapping have not been achieved. School supervisors have not completely informed about the involvement of the industrial world business world in the implementation of industrial work practices. Practical work provides additional knowledge and skills of students so that competency gaps in the mapping of competency skills can be minimized, but these competencies do not yet cover the entire competency gap. The implementation of work practice for 3 (three) months is quite effective, because with this duration students perform certain tasks repeatedly to improve student competence in completing assignments and maximum work results, however, it was still found that students were not responsive enough in other assignments given. The evaluation of industrial work practice management with the analysis that has been carried out so far is quite good, but the follow-up actions have not provided an improvement in the performance of the management team as a whole so that the mismatches keep recurring in the implementation of the next work practice.

This research aims to analyze the knowledge necessity and implementation of the occupational health and safety (OHS) of students in SMK Negeri 1 Kaidipang while taking the industrial work practice. This is a quantitative research by applying questionnaires and observation with 2 variables, those are; 1) the knowledge necessity of the occupational health and safety (X) and 2) the implementation of the occupational health and safety in the industrial work practice (Y)..The test with the significance level (a) of 5%. It shows that: (1) Knowledge necessity of occupational health and safety greatly influences its implementation during the industrial work practices, this is evidenced by the R Square value of 0.358 or 35.8% which means that the knowledge necessity of the occupational health and safety variable only contributes 35.8% to its implementation during the industrial work practices. (2) the knowledge necesssity of the OHS positively influences its implementation during the industrial work practice of students in class XI and XII majoring in Architecture with proof of value, count> cable (4,604> 2.02439). This study aims to analyze the contribution of industrial work practice and academic ability towards students' perceptions of readiness to enter the world of work in class III of the Office Administration Department of SMKN 1 Jambi. This study used a quantitative method with a sample size of 84 respondents. The research data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to students, then were analyzed by inferential statistics using simple regression and multiple regression data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was known that the contribution of X1 to Y was 22.7% with the regression equation Y = 50.962 + 0.942 X, which means that there was a positive effect of X1 on Y. Furthermore, the contribution of X2 to Y was 32.8% with the regression equation Y = 46.074 + 0.867 X, which means that X2 had a positive effect on Y. Then, the contribution of X1 and X2 to Y was 42.4% with the regression equation Y = 29.026 + 0.691 X1 + 0.727 X2. This means that the effect of industrial work practices (X1) and academic ability (X2) together (simultaneously) on readiness to enter the world of work (Y) was 42.4%, the remaining 57.6% was influenced by other factors. Thus, it can be concluded that industrial work practices and academic abilities contribute to students' perceptions of readiness to enter the world of work.
