AbstractThis chapter explores manufacturing MNC governance practices under conditions of uncertainty. It shows that organized recursivity in knowledge flow and practice (“experimentalism”) can diffuse learning and innovation throughout the MNC. Three sorts of obstacles, however, are common: hierarchical insulation, stakeholder exclusion, and inadequate empowerment resources for participants. These obstacles exist not only ex ante, as firms attempt to construct formal experimentalist systems; they also are continually regenerated by the experimentalist dynamics themselves. In order to avoid disruption of recursive flow, MNCs are developing an array of destabilization mechanisms to undermine obstacles and reconstitute the deliberative experimentalist learning process.

This paper attempts to document and account for cost savings on North American small-grain prairie farms in the early twentieth century. Costs of production are analyzed using the ex post price and yield data abundantly available. Cost conjectures are developed and compared with scattered farm data that itemize inputs and reveal some aspects of farming technique. Total costs per acre, despite year to year fluctuations, appear to have fallen gradually over the entire period consistent with a comprehensive and continuous learning process, rather than only suddenly in the late 1920s when there was a marked increase in the sales of gasoline-powered farm machinery.

Teaching is a continuous learning process, often requiring educators to sift through the abundance of available information and retain highquality materials. As a future teacher, I have begun to create a personal library of teaching ideas and aids to benefit myself and my future students, and I am including Cynthia Lanius's Web site, www.math.rice.edu/~lanius/, in my collection. This site serves as a resource for K–12 teachers and students, as well as parents, and has a special section for Spanish-speaking students.

Education in today's pandemic requires better attention and readiness from both teachers and students. This diverse readiness also requires continuous learning and finding out to form the character of good students. In the present, students need to be continuously educated and understood related to character education. The purpose of this study is to describe how to instill the character of caring for the environment in schools and find out how teachers use devices as learning media during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the implementation of caring for the environment can be applied by school equipment to students, to foster and shape the character of students who are aware of the importance of preserving the environment and the importance of maintaining natural balance. The achievement of the environmental literacy movement is supported by teachers, school staff, and students and is equipped with optimal facilities to support the successful implementation of the optimal environmental literacy movement. The use of devices in the learning process is maximized as a substitute for the teacher in understanding the material for students. This is related to assessment because using online teachers also provides tolerance related to collecting and assessing assignments. The teacher always checks and warns students who have not collected the results of today's learning every afternoon, so that there is an opportunity for students who want to improve or even haven't done it. The diversity of learning platforms used is expected that the enthusiasm of students in learning will continue to exist so that they are not psychologically depressed too

Involving parents in a continuous learning process from school and home is a challenging program for an educational institution. The classic problem most often encountered is the absence of parents from parenting program activities organized by schools. The presence of a parenting program which is able to connect or bring parents together is indeed needed in supporting the harmony of the learning process. This study aims to determine the response of parents to the implementation of the parenting design program using the WhatsApp group. This study uses a quantitative approach research design with data collection techniques carried out by distributing questionnaires in the form of a Guttman scale which are then validated with the help of SPSS and measured by a percentage index. Research data obtained from 30 respondents from total 120 population. The results showed 87.99% of respondents showed a positive response to the application of group WhatsApp in parenting activities at school.

Education as one of futute investent, it will not mean anything if not accompanied bay contantly upgrading, development, innovation and continuous learning. One effort to archieve that goal is always to find and discover new breakthroughs in the learning process that impact on investment values and cultural character of the nation. Phenomena occuring in the field shows that the learning the art of music perfomed at the elementary school is still limited to memorizing and imitating the singing and showing no signs of learning meaningful and fun. So that the objectives and scope of learning the art of music has not been accommodated and still far from perfection. Based on phenomena mentioned above, we need a breakthrough/innovatioan to overcome these problems, so learning the art of music back to the learning objectives listed and curriculum. One effort that can be done is to enhance learning the art of music education based culture and national character. Learning the art of music which will be full application of the valus to develop personality of students given by integrating the values of culture and national character education into the step of learning the art of innovative music. So, the increase in musical arts education-based learning culture and national character can develop the culture and character of students. This also can be and alternative solution to solve problems and crices that threaten the culture and character of Indonesian nation

AbstractFrom a salutogenic perspective, relational and reflective competencies are key to the success of competence building. Reflecting on and exploring one’s (life) experience in a continuous learning process can enhance salutogenic competence. This chapter, whose authors have many years of experience building health professionals’ salutogenic competence, is nicely illustrated with teaching and coaching examples drawn from (a) a master’s programme for students in various health professions, (b) salutogenic talk-therapy groups, (c) students in health promotion training programmes, and (d) on-the-job training of healthcare professionals working in childcare services. The chapter discusses the concept of “self-tuning,” referring to habitual self-sensitivity, reflection, and mobilising of resources, which can play a central role in all types of training. This chapter emphasises that trainers should strive to “live the talk,” developing their personal salutogenic capacity – in other words, do what you teach and be what you teach.

In the beginning of 1983, CETREL S/A, based on the experiments carried out in other countries, put forth the idea of treating organic industrial wastes generated by COPEC, especially atoxic biodegradable sludges, through LANDFARMING. Therefore, in 1984 two “Farms” were implemented, in an area of 20 hectares. In view of the pioneering ventures in Brazil for the disposal of industrial wastes of various sources, operation controls have been and still are a continuous learning process, stimulating research on the insertion or adaptation of governing parameters in the process. In that connection, it is our intention to show the characteristics and procedures adopted with regard to Design, Operation, Control/Monitoring, Pilot Scale Tests and Results.

Purpose With the exponential growth of the amount of data, the most sophisticated systems of traditional libraries are not able to fulfill the demands of modern business and user needs. The purpose of this paper is to present the possibility of creating a Big Data smart library as an integral and enhanced part of the educational system that will improve user service and increase motivation in the continuous learning process through content-aware recommendations. Design/methodology/approach This paper presents an approach to the design of a Big Data system for collecting, analyzing, processing and visualizing data from different sources to a smart library specifically suitable for application in educational institutions. Findings As an integrated recommender system of the educational institution, the practical application of Big Data smart library meets the user needs and assists in finding personalized content from several sources, resulting in economic benefits for the institution and user long-term satisfaction. Social implications The need for continuous education alters business processes in libraries with requirements to adopt new technologies, business demands, and interactions with users. To be able to engage in a new era of business in the Big Data environment, librarians need to modernize their infrastructure for data collection, data analysis, and data visualization. Originality/value A unique value of this paper is its perspective of the implementation of a Big Data solution for smart libraries as a part of a continuous learning process, with the aim to improve the results of library operations by integrating traditional systems with Big Data technology. The paper presents a Big Data smart library system that has the potential to create new values and data-driven decisions by incorporating multiple sources of differential data.
