Language skills, the key elements for children’s development, are often used as a benchmark to measure the development of all abilities he/she possessed. For early childhood, time spent at school is an opportunity for them to develop their language skills, especially expressive language. The storytelling method often found in PAUD is still less innovative. This triggers boredom and result in neglecting learning process that is detrimental to students, especially in improving expressive language skills. The use of relevant techniques in extratextual activities during the learning process combined with the storytelling method will be very helpful for children. There are 12 extratextual techniques for teachers to do and nine techniques that can be done by children. These two categories of extratextual activities can make the storytelling method richer and ensure the achievement of learning targets specifically related to children’s language acquisition. This extratextual activity can trigger the development of children's expressive language in terms of adding new vocabulary, increasing the meaning of old and new vocabulary and developing vocabulary into sentences in everyday conversation. The conditioning carried out in the application of this extratextual activity also has a positive influence in terms of four aspects of language development, namely the development of phonology, semantics, grammar and pragmatics. In phonology, children are strengthened how to pronounce the alphabet correctly; in semantics, children get meaning reinforcement and additional meaning from a vocabulary; on grammar and pragmatics, improvement is given to the arrangement of correct grammar when old and new vocabulary is used in conversation.

This qualitative study analysed how aspects of critical consciousness in students played a role in the issue of sexual violence in a higher education institution. This research involved students, lecturers, and elements of higher education leaders of a university in Aceh, Indonesia. For the data collection method, the researchers used semi-structured interviews. The data was analysed using thematic analysis with the utilization of critical consciousness and student agency concept as the theoretical frameworks. This study found that aspects of critical consciousness played a significant role in dealing with sexual violence issues in university. Without critical consciousness, students would potentially err in analysing the issue of sexual violence. Aspects of students' critical consciousness were also influenced by the structure or discourse of higher education in viewing sexual violence. The tendency of campus to be more concerned with its good reputation also exacerbated the handling and prevention of sexual violence cases. The implication of this research is the finding that critical consciousness and institutional structure influence each other, both positively and negatively. To deal with sexual violence, a university must promote critical consciousness among students and academics, create pro survivors’ discourse and underpin students' agency, and most importantly, strive to cultivate gender equity perspective among university leaders. Future research should focus on investigating effective pedagogy to nurture critical consciousness for supporting the anti-sexual violence agenda in a higher education institution

This study discusses the fulfilment of the rights of rape victims in Aceh in the form of restitution payments. Restitution which is the main punishment in Qanun Aceh No. 6 of 2014 concerning the Jinayat Law, has never been included in the judge's decision in the cases of rape. Basically Qanun Jinayah has shown its side with rape victims by formulating punishments for perpetrators which are certain to have a deterrent effect such as the length of prison sentences and the number of sentences handed down to the perpetrators. However, the problem of hampering the fulfilment of restitution to victims is a new problem in the realm of enforcing the Jinayah Qanun in Aceh. This raises the question of why restitution was never included in the decision of the Sharia Court for the rape case in Aceh. This research is a literature study using a normative approach which is then explained descriptively. The results of this study showed that the restitution was never included in the decision is due to the incompatibility of the restitution formulation mentioned in the Jinayat Law Qanun and later referred to differently in the Jinayat Procedural Law, namely as compensation. The fulfilment of this right to restitution is also hampered due to the absence of a governor's regulation that contains technical rules regarding the mechanism for executing restitution for victims. The impact of this discontinuity in the formulation of restitution makes judges unable to include sanctions for restitution in their decisions.

Recently the involvement of women in terrorism has increased through their various roles, from facilitators, recruiters, nurses, couriers to suicide bombers and frontline fighters in acts of terrorism. Even though jihad limit the involvement of women in action, the rising of ISIS in 2014 has increased their involvement in terrorism as jihadists. Women are given various passive and active roles such as being the perpetrators of suicide bombers. Violent behavior by women is said to be a deviation because of gender stereotypes that exist in society and shift the view that women are victims. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study to describe the identity and role that women have in terrorism. Furthermore, this study used a theoretical analysis of Sheldon Stryker's Identity Theory (1980) with the salience identity to find out how to counter women involvement in terrorism in profiling practice to decide the methods to hadling it. The results of the study showed that the salience identity of women is still not considered as the main character in terrorism so that women are often considered as victims. The involvement of women in the role is marked by the roles they carry that affect their social behavior according to the role they play as terrorists. There are various identities of women that will have an impact on policies to deal with terrorism aimed at women, they must look at the roles and identities they have in accordance with the proportions of their salience identities.
