This article presents a discussion and illustration of Mokken scale analysis (MSA), a nonparametric form of item response theory (IRT), in relation to common IRT models such as Rasch and Guttman scaling. The procedure can be used for dichotomous and ordinal polytomous data commonly used with questionnaires. The assumptions of MSA are discussed as well as characteristics that differentiate a Mokken scale from a Guttman scale. MSA is illustrated using the mokken package with R Studio and a data set that included over 3,340 responses to a modified version of the Statistical Anxiety Rating Scale. Issues addressed in the illustration include monotonicity, scalability, and invariant ordering. The R script for the illustration is included.

This study aims to produce an assessment instrument to assess the ability to think creatively on hydrocarbon material and determine the validity of the assessment instrument. The research method used the research and development model of Borg and Gall. This research stage was carried out until the development stage. The assessment instrument developed in this study consisted of twenty-four items in the essay test, which referred to creative thinking indicators, which consisted of 4 indicators. Validation of the instrument for assessing the ability to think creatively was carried out by three validators with expert validity and validation of the measurement of creative thinking skills by experts measured using the Guttman scale. Based on the validity according to the expert, namely the material, construction and language aspects with the Aikens formula, it was obtained that the average expert validation ranged from 0.87 to 0.94 for the very good category, and 12 questions were declared valid. The validity of measuring the ability to think creatively using the Guttman scale obtained the results of 97.2% declared valid. 12 The developed test instrument is considered valid so that it can be used as a measuring tool to determine students' creative thinking abilities.

The earnerd results are presented in the two categories of effective and ineffective. Effective categories earn a percentage of 46% and are not effective at getting a percentage of 54%. Each variable aspect has a percentage of  its individuals target. Calculations form the sensory fields of sight, touch, and hearing are categorized as effective by 95% and as ineffective by 5%, the cognitive aspect is effective by 46% and ineffective by 54%, the resource aspect is categorized as effective by 80% and as ineffective by 20%, the student council, the time appropriations, and the school administrators are categorized as 6% and ineffective by 94%. The conclusion that can be drawn from the study is that 68,57% of learners consider part-time learning to be ineffectual because of the difference in study time that results in a difference in pleasure levels following the partitions. Keywords: Perception, learner, the effectiveness of comparative learning. Multiple intelligence is one way to understand the abilities possessed by children. This needs to be re-understood considering that many parents see intelligence based solely on report card scores. It is important to provide understanding to parents about multiple intelligence in order to understand the conditions of development and intelligence possessed by their children. This research aims to increase parents's knowledge about multiple intelligences. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-type experiment through the provision of psychoeducation. The subjects in this study were 11 parents of SDIT Insantama Malang students with various educational and occupational backgrounds. The study used the Guttman scale to collect data. Participants received a pre-test and post-test to determine the differences before and after attending psychoeducation. Data analysis used paired t test as statistical analysis. The result of this study is that there is a significant influence on the increase in the knowledge of parents about multiple intelligence with a significance value of 0.00 and a t value of -12,111.
