The paper presents a method for estimating the efficiency of the manual nesting process. By using the graphic file generated during the nesting process and using image processing techniques, the method allows the user to calculate the percentage of material used for manufacturing the parts. The method combines a manual approach - the user has to select some specific points on the graphic file with the mouse, with some image processing algorithms form Matlab software package.

In the current era of Medical Science, Image Processing is the most evolving and inspiring technique. This technique consolidates some noise removal functions, segmentation, and morphological activities which are the fundamental ideas of image processing. Initially preprocessing of an MRI image is done to ensure the image quality for further processing/output. Our paper portrays the methodology to extricate and diagnose the brain tumor with the help of an affected person’s MRI scan pictures of the brain. MRI pictures are taken into account to recognize and extricate the tumor from the brain with the aid of MATLAB software.

In this article, we used image processing by a webcam connected on top of the arm robot. The robot navigation is in an unknown environment. Then start point and target point were determined for the robot, so the robot needs to have a program for path planning using Voronoi diagrams to find the path. After the possible path for moving the robot was found, the route information obtained was sent to the arm robot. The arm robot moves in the workspace and any time new information was processed via the webcam. The program was written using MATLAB software which at controls the robot’s movement the unknown environment.

Wavelet is a kind of mathematics tool rapid development in recent years and widely used in various areas of technology, Wavelet analysis of image processing is the most widely used and mature areas. Wavelet change based on the features, Using Matlab software, this paper analyses the wavelet in image decomposition, denoising, compression, reconstruction, etc . Concluded that the wavelet transform for image processing have ideal effect.


Robotics is the human interface machine used for fulfill the desired work where human efforts are low. In General the design of a robot involves various types of analyses that invariably include structural, dynamic, kinematic and numerical experiments. A robot designed for weeding problems would have to consider the stages of plant growth. Initially prescribed description of the framework for proposed robot is provide the simplicity along with the known parameters of design. The primary design parameter of the robot and cutting mechanism establishes certain geometric and structural constrains on the design the worm gear, worm and blades which is attached with motors for comprising the cutting mechanism of the robot. This relationship is studied in order to improve the speed of cutting the weeds by image processing of camera for the differentiation of the weeds and plants by the robot. A significant reduction in size is achieved by working on these variables which leads to the improvement in the functional aspects and reduces the innovation of bigger machine used for these weeding purposes in modern world. There are 3 motors in which 2 motors are used for movement and 1 motor is used for actuating the cutting mechanism. This whole mechanism is controlled by Arduino UNO controller and MatLAB software. The surface defects is an important factor affecting the quality of hot-rolled round steel, so the recognition of surface defects plays a very important role in the daily usage of the hot-rolled round steel. This paper aims to bring forward an appropriate method to find out the surface defects of the hot-rolled round steel under the help of Matlab software. First of all, the image edge of the round steel was detected, and the image was segmented. Secondly, the segmented image may appear bended, so it would be straightened to make the surface defects recognition easy. The third step is to eliminate image noise. Finally the processed image was analyzed and the appropriate recognition method was figured out. The results show that the method proposed in this paper is effective and accurate.
