SummaryThe preparation of a monoclonal antibody (MAB) against high molecular weight (HMW) urokinase light chain (20,000 Mr) is described. This MAB was immobilized and the resulting immunosorbent was used to isolate urokinase starting with an impure commercial preparation, fresh urine, spent tissue culture media, or E. coli broth without preliminary dialysis or concentration steps. Monospecific antibodies appear to provide a rapid single step method of purifying urokinase, in high yield, from a variety of biological fluids.

The numerical model is developed consisting of a 1D flow model and the morphological model to simulate the erosion due to the water overtopping. The step method is applied to solve the water surface on the slope and the finite difference method of the modified Lax Scheme is applied for bed change equation. The Meyer-Peter and Muller formulae is used to determine the bed load transport rate. The model is calibrated and verified based on the data in experiment. It is found that the computed results and experiment data are good agreement.

The paper analyzes shortcomings of economic impact studies based mainly on input- output models that are often employed in Russia as well as abroad. Using studies about sport events in the USA and Olympic Games that took place during the last 30 years we reveal advantages of the cost-benefit analysis approach in obtaining unbiased assessments of public investments efficiency; the step-by-step method of cost-benefit analysis is presented in the paper as well. We employ the project of Sochi-2014 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Russia to evaluate its efficiency using cost-benefit analysis for five accounts (areas of impact), namely government, households, environment, economic development, and social development, and calculate the net present value of the project taking into account its possible alternatives. In conclusion we suggest several policy directions that would enhance public investment efficiency within the Sochi-2014 Olympics.

The study of batik in the batik centers of Giriloyo and Wijirejo Bantul is intended to develop the existing motifs of batik mbantulan and create new motifs while maintain the identity of batik mbantulan with its local-rich characteristics in Kabupaten Bantul. The development of batik mbantulan has undergone the rising and falling trend. To survive and develop artisans of batik mbantulan have to adapt themselves to the ongoing market preference through the improved characteristics of batik mbantulan. It is necessary to explore the possible existing motifs of batik mbantulan that have brought up the batik center of Giriloyo and Wijirejo have. The motifs of batik mbantulan have to be reserved in the batik products through identification, diversification, and creation of new batik mbantulan motifs, Therefore, the new designs is expected to be more competitive in batik market and create the spirit of creativity and innovativeness among the artisans of batik mbantulan in the Batik Center of Giriloyo and Wijirejo Bantul. The main obstacles that the artisans in the batik center of Giriloyo and Wijirejo have to face up is the meeting of consumers’ orders with their new motifs. The artisans are not capable enough to create new designs through the development of mbantulan motifs and prefer to work on the present and general motifs of batik Yogyakarta. The study is expected to deal with the artisans’ problem in creating new designs / motifs and improve their capacity to make new creative and innovative designs to meet consumers’ desired standard. In turn, this will lead to a better economic prospect for the artisans of batik mbantulan in the batik center of Giriloyo and Wijirejo. Key words: batik mbantulan, artisans, motifs

A synthesis of construction of cables of category 6a for infocommunication systems with improved characteristics of noise immunity is carried out. The parameters of transient pickups and total transient pickups for the proposed cable design are calculated, and the cable diameter of the initial and proposed designs is estimated. The estimation of improvement of mass-dimension parameters of a cable of a proposed design is carried out. It is shown that due to chamber (group) unearthed screening, it is possible to significantly reduce the influence characteristics and the mass-dimensional parameters of the cable.

This review refers to the all-inclusive details of Lorcaserin Hydrochloride on comprehensive information about the synthesis, analytical methods, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, drug interactions and adverse effects. Lorcaserin Hydrochloride is chemically (R)-8-Chloro-1-methyl-2,3,4,5- tetrahydro-1H-3-benzazepine hydrochloride. Lorcaserin HCl is a novel, synthetic, centrally-acting selective serotonin C (5-HT2c) receptor, l agonist, which results in increased satiety and decreased food consumption in patients. Headache, dizziness and nausea are the most common side effects associated with this drug. Lorcaserin HCl has two major metabolites, one conjugated with glucuronide called N-carbamoyl glucuronide which is excreted in urine and the second Lorcaserin N-sulfamate, which is circulated in the blood. Lorcaserin HCl is synthesized using four different schemes of which a six-step method that resulted in 92.3% yield with 99.8% of purity is employed for scale-up production. It is analyzed quantitatively in the plasma and brain tissue matrix of rats by Ultra Performance Liquid chromatographic (UPLC) method using MS-MS (Mass Spectrometric) detection.

: Tuberculosis is a disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb), affecting millions of people worldwide. The emergence of drug resistance is a major problem in the successful treatment of tuberculosis. Due to the commencement of MDR-TB (multi-drug resistance) and XDR-TB (extensively drug resistance), there is a crucial need for the development of novel anti-tubercular agents with improved characteristics such as low toxicity, enhanced inhibitory activity and short duration of treatment. In this direction, various heterocyclic compounds have been synthesized and screened against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Among them, benzimidazole and imidazole containing derivatives found to have potential anti-tubercular activity. The present review focuses on various imidazole and benzimidazole derivatives (from 2015-2019) with their structure activity relationships in the treatment of tuberculosis.

Background : Renewable energies are in great demand because of the shortage of traditional fossil energy and the associated environmental problems. Ni and Se-based materials are recently studied for energy storage and conversion owing to their reasonable conductivities and enriched redox activities as well as abundance. However, their electrochemical performance is still unsatisfactory for practical applications. Objective: To enhance the capacitance storage of Ni-Se materials via modification of their physiochemical properties with Fe. Methods: A two-step method was carried out to prepare FeNi-Se loaded reduced graphene oxide (FeNi-Se/rGO). In the first step, metal salts and graphene oxide (GO) were mixed under basic condition and autoclaved to obtain hydroxide intermediates. As a second step, selenization process was carried out to acquire FeNi-Se/rGO composites. Results: X-ray diffraction measurements (XRD), nitrogen adsorption at 77K, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were carried out to study the structures, porosities and the morphologies of the composites. Electrochemical measurements revealed that FeNi-Se/rGO notably enhanced capacitance than the NiSe/G composite. This enhanced performance was mainly attributed to the positive synergistic effects of Fe and Ni in the composites, which not only had influence on the conductivity of the composite but also enhanced redox reactions at different current densities. Conclusion: NiFe-Se/rGO nanocomposites were synthesized in a facile way. The samples were characterized physicochemically and electrochemically. NiFeSe/rGO giving much higher capacitance storage than the NiSe/rGO explained that the nanocomposites could be an electrode material for energy storage device applications.
