Modern highly mechanized and electrified agriculture places high demands on power supply reliability and uninterrupted work. To increase the reliability of power supply to agricultural consumers, in some cases, taking into account the configuration of electric distribution networks and the availability of responsible consumers, a conditionally closed ring network is created. Interruptions in power supply lead to downtime of agricultural production, a decrease in the volume of output, damage to the main technological equipment [1, 2]. In this regard, there is a need to make informed decisions on the choice of ways to increase the reliability of uninterrupted power supply due to the reservation of various elements of the power supply system, improving the organization of maintenance, and the operational diagnostics of faulty elements.

There has been an increasing attentiveness in the uses of sensor networks. Because sensors are normally controlled in on-board power supply, proficient supervision of the network is essential in improving the life of the sensor. The majority research protocols objective at offering link breakage reducing and mitigating from the same. Yet, selecting the well-organized communication do all the beneficial to the transmission process thus demonstrating better improvement in the network performance. In this article, we propose Best Communication Node Election for well-organized Path in Flat Topology The main goal of this work is to choose the best data transmission node in flat topology for improve the multi hop routing. This scheme, the best communication node selection based on Path Metric and this Path Metric is measured by the packet obtained rate, dropped rate, latency rate and node energy. This scheme provide guarantees quality of Service in the network.

One of the crucial aspects of the environmental protection is continuous monitoring of environment. Specific aspect is estimation of the bird species population. It is particularly important for bird species being in danger of extinction. Avian monitoring programs are time and money consuming actions which usually base on terrain expeditions. Certain remedy for this can be automatic acoustical avian monitoring system, described in the paper. Main components of the designed system are: digital audio recorder for bird voices acquisition, computer program automatically recognizing bird species by its signals emitted (voices or others) and object-relational database accessed via the Internet. Optional system components can be: digital camera and camcorder, bird attracting device, wireless data transmission module, power supply with solar panel, portable weather station. The system records bird voices and sends the recordings to the database. Recorded bird voices can be also provoked by the attracting device. Application of wireless data transmission module and power supply with solar panel allows long term operation of digital sound recorder in a hard accessible terrain. Recorded bird voices are analysed by the computer program and labelled with the automatically recognized bird species. Recognition accuracy of the program can be optionally enhanced by an expert system. Besides of labelled sound recordings, database can store also many other information like: photos and films accompanying recorded bird voices/ sounds, information about localization of observation/ recordings (GPS position, description of a place of an observation), information about bird features and behaviour, meteorological information, etc. Database on the base of geographical/ geological digital maps can generate actual maps of bird population (presence, number of individuals of each species). Moreover data-base can trigger alerts in case of rapidly decreasing bird population. It is also possible to obtain new knowledge about bird species with data mining methods. The paper presents collected data on observed bird species (audio recordings, photos and films) as well as results of experiments testing particular components of the automatic acoustical avian monitoring system.

AbstractThe communication system of a microgrid can transfer the information of electricity price, power consumption and so on between users and the control centre. This capability is of great significance to improve the efficiency and sustainability of power facilities. In this paper, a bidirectional DC–AC converter topology is proposed to achieve the composite transmission of power and signals in microgrids. Since the transmitted signals are modulated by power switches of converters and integrated into the currents, the cost of signal couplers can be saved and the circuit structure can be simplified. In order to verify the feasibility of the proposed method, a simulation model of the proposed converter is implemented in MATLAB/Simulink. With the power supply frequency of 50 Hz, when the converter operates in the inverter mode and rectifier mode, the data transmission rate can reach 120 bit/s and 48 bit/s, respectively.

This paper presents an antenna sensor that can detect and monitor crack remotely and passively. Since this antenna sensor does not need electric wires for power supply and data transmission, it has great potential to be implemented as large area sensor skin with high spatial resolution, simple configuration and remote-interrogation capability. The sensor fabrication, the sensor characterization procedure and the non-contact interrogation technique are presented. The experimental results demonstrated that the antenna sensor is sensitive to crack growth and can be interrogated remotely.

Sound disturbance and bird droppings in buildings are a problem for building managers. Bird droppings are quite difficult to remove and cause damage to the walls and aesthetics, especially the trend in the use of building roofs as a rooftop for productive activities. This study proposes the use of RCWL motion sensors for motion detection and the resulting output is the sound of eagles from speakers and ultrasonic speakers. The tool was developed based on internet of things using an arduino nano ATMega 328 microcontroller, connection and data transmission using SIM800L and GSM modules and power supply using a solar panel power bank. The test results show that the RCWL motion sensor is quite optimal in the detection of more than or equal to 3 birds. Sound output and the resulting waves are able to prevent birds from alighting and nesting.

AbstractTechnical and legal challenges cause the implementation of Autonomous Driving in road traffic to still be a long way off. However, the introduction of driver assistance functions enables cars’ automation for low speeds already nowadays. The concept of Autonomous Transport (AT) combines automated driving with Automated Guided Vehicle’s technology. In this paper, we assess risks that emanate from AT and show fields of action for its implementation with respect to the standards for functional safety. We set up requirements for the reliability of cars’ electric power supply, actuators and sensors. Concepts for their cost-efficient fulfillment are derived. The realization of collision avoidance and navigation without additional attachments is discussed.

The controller is designed with LPC2132. The working state of motor and pump can be judged by detection of the Pump station’s power supply voltage, working current, temperature of the motor and pump, water pressure and so on. In order to protect the motor and pump, the motor should be stopped immediately when they work abnormally, then the abnormal phenomenon will be transferred to the director by remote data and corresponding remedial measures will be taken in time. The system achieves not only remote data transmission but also remote controlling. It has being used in many places, the result shows that the control system can be operated steadily and reliably, so it has a good application prospect and promotion value.
