An experimental study of the evaporation dynamics for an inkjet-printed drop on a solid substrate has been attempted. Using fluorescent spherical colloids, the internal flow of an evaporating drop has been observed directly. During the initial stages of the process, a novel inward radial flow carries the particles as a single group towards the center of the drop. Once the particles have converged near the center, a significantly slower outward radial flow proceeds. These flow regimes are qualitatively analyzed and their relationship to a possible thermal Marangoni flow is discussed.

The meaning of the term integration is coordination of different activities. Over the years, the subjects under the curriculum for the under graduate's students was taught separately. The study was planned to integrate three subjects namely Medical Surgical Nursing, Pathology and Pharmacology together for better understanding and relevant learning. The research approach for this study was quantitative research approach. A Pre experimental Single group pretest posttest design was used. Total 30 students were enrolled in the study. Pretest was conducted followed by introducing integrated teaching module and Posttest after the completion of the Module. Opinionnaire was obtained from the participants. Result was analyzed using inferential statistics. The calculated t value 6.07 is greater than the table t value of 2.756 which is statistically signicant at p value <0.001. This indicates that the integrated teaching can be used to improve the cognitive domain of the students.

Brachial Plexus Injury (BPI) results in decreased motor function in upper extremity and leads to reduced hand grasping movement. Orthotic prehension is designed to create artificial grasp movements in paralyzed hand. This study was to compare grasp kinematic improvement between body powered and myoelectric prehension orthosis usage in patients with BPI. This study was a single group without control and post test with experimental study. The subjects of the study (n = 11) were brachial plexus injury patients with non-functional hand strength. Joint motion and angular velocity of metacarpophalangeal (MCP) and proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint of index finger were evaluated. There was an improvement in joint motion and angular velocity after both orthosis usage. Joint motion in MCP and PIP, Angular velocity in MCP were not significantly different between myoelectric and body powered and myoelectric prehension orthosis usage. PIP angular velocity improvement were better after body powered prehension orthosis usage (p= 0.03).In conclusion, body powered and myolectric prehension orthosis usage improved kinematic parameter of index finger’s MCP and PIP joint. PIP angular velocity was better after body powered prehension orthosis usage.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendéskripsikan (1) gambaran mengenai guguritan yang diilustrasikan dalam bentuk multimedia pembelajaran; dan (2) meningkatkan kemampuan menulis dalam pelajaran guguritan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain “Single Group Time Series Design”. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 siswa yang diambil dari satu kelas yakni kelas X IBB SMA Negeri 1 Nagreg, Kabupaten Bandung. Tehnik yang digunakan adalah tehnik tes. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar tes menulis guguritan. Penelitian ini menerangkan bahwa (1) kemampuan menulis siswa terhadap guguritan sebelum menggunakan multimedia mendapatkan hasil dengan skor rata-rata 67.17; (2) kemampuan menulis siswa terhadap guguritan setelah menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran mendapatkan hasil dengan skor rata-rata 87.45, dan ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis guguritan siswa kelas X IBB SMA Negeri Nagreg sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil thitung (30.34) > ttabel (2.68). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa hipotesis kerja (ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Dengan demikian multimedia dapat meningkatkan menulis guguritan siswa kelas X IBB SMA Negeri 1 Nagreg.ABSTRACTThis study aimed to describe (1) a description of the guguritan illustrated in the form of multimedia learning; and (2) improve the ability to write in guguritan lesson. This study explains that (1) the ability of the student's writing to guguritan before using multimedia get results with an average score of 67.17; (2) the ability of the student's writing against guguritan after using multimedia learning get of results with an average score of 87.45, and there is a significant difference between the ability to write guguritan class X IBB SMA Nagreg before and after using multimedia learning based on the results tcount (30.34)> ttabel (2.68). This shows that the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Thus multimedia can enhance writing guguritan of class X IBB SMA Negeri 1 Nagreg.

Abstract Objective: to evaluate the quality of the sputum sample before and after the Nursing guidance to patients. Methods: this is a quasi-experimental research design, single group type, before and after, non-randomized study. The study enrolled patients with suspected pulmonary tuberculosis, respiratory symptomatic patients for over three weeks, aged over 18 years, of both genders and without tuberculosis history in the last two years. The educational intervention consisted of individualized guidance on the collection of sputum sample, which was based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Health of Brazil and on the explanatory folder delivery. Results: in this study participated 138 patients with suspected pulmonary tuberculosis. The results showed significant increase of the samples with purulent particles, volume greater than 5 mL and increased rate of patients diagnosed with tuberculosis, after the educational intervention. Conclusion: it was shown that after the educational intervention, it was observed sputum samples with better quality, with satisfactory aspect and volume for the effectiveness of the bacilloscopic examination.

The tilted beam illumination method is used to improve the resolution comparing with the axial illumination mode. Using this advantage, a restoration method of several tilted beam images covering the full azimuthal range was proposed by Saxton, and experimentally examined. To make this technique more reliable it seems that some practical problems still remain. In this report the restoration was attempted and the problems were considered. In our study, four problems were pointed out for the experiment of the restoration. (1) Accurate beam tilt adjustment to fit the incident beam to the coma-free axis for the symmetrical beam tilting over the full azimuthal range. (2) Accurate measurements of the optical parameters which are necessary to design the restoration filter. Even if the spherical aberration coefficient Cs is known with accuracy and the axial astigmatism is sufficiently compensated, at least the defocus value must be measured. (3) Accurate alignment of the tilt-azimuth series images.
