IntroductionIn recent years, both abstinence- and harm-reduction strategies for managing opium dependency are being generalized. In those who use detoxification, maintenance therapy with Naltrexone, an opioid antagonist protects them against relapse. This is important to know the best time of Naltrexone discontinuation to lower the risk of relapse.ObjectionThis study tried to determine the efficacy of Naltrexone in prevention of opioid relapse and the factors interfere to the outcome.Material and method150 opium addicts who were admitted in Kermanshah Rehabilitation Centre for Naltrexone maintenance therapy contributed in this 18 month length study. They received Naltrexone for 6 months and followed then after for another 12 months. Opium test (TLC) were done monthly in the first 6 months, and then in 3 month intervals for 12 subsequent months to find out the relapse.Results1)The relapse rates were 56.7%(85) after 6-month, and 4.7%(7)after one-year.2)The succession rate was 38.6%(58).3)The lowest succession rate was in 18–25 year old, The highest was in 35–40 year old adults(10).4)In person with diploma and higher the succession rate(43.8%) was higher than poor educated(34.7%) ones.5)The succession rate was higher in those who: were employee(72.7%), were addicted to heroin(44.9%), didn’t have positive family history(41.3%), and had more incomes(46.7%).Discussion1)In those who the relapse is delayed until 9 months after detoxification, the chance of long term abstinence is higher.2)The employees and those who have more social disciplines are more successful in ceasing opium abuse.

Abstract156 treatments are presented carried out in patient with dependence of opiate (CIE-10), with a maintenance program with antagonist opiate depot (Naltrexon), initiate after a rule of ambulatory quick antagonization. It has been carried out a pursuit from one year to the patients after the high one. You concludes that the program is safe for the patients; it has better retention index that the programs with antagonist for via oral, and at least it equals that of the programs with agonistas, improving the execution (negative urinalysis) of these last ones.

In 1977 two French men, Simon Nora, a high-level civil servant, and Alain Minc, an economist, co-authored a report entitled L'informatisation de la société to French president Valery Giscard d'Estaing, which was later translated into English and published as The Computerization of Society (Nora & Minc, 1980). However, in a paper of the same title written in English and published in 1987, Minc simply transplanted the French word informatisation directly into English rather than sticking to the old translation computerization. However that was not the first time the word informatisation was used in the English language. One year before, the word informatization had appeared in an article published in the American magazine Dædalus: (1)This is what the information society is offering as a by-product of a new stage in the mechanization of the economy and the informatization of culture. […] It is no accident that the phrase “artificial intelligence” has become such an important term within the culture of those responsible for the informatization of society, because, if intelligence can be artificial, then the randomness of history will disappear (Smith, 1986: 165–6).

IntroductionPatients with mental disease are not in touch with their emotions, they do not recognize them and are incapable of finding alternative ways to face life difficulties.Consequently, anxiety which evolves from stressful situations literally immobilizes them.ObjectiveOur aim was to isolate the factors which create stressful situations that lead patients in relapsing.MethodWe studied patients’ inability to cope with their emotions and the stress that follows. We studied 25 patients living in the R.U. “Eurikleia”, 30 patients in follow-up and 50 patients who were hospitalized in the 3rd Psychiatric Department of the Psychiatric Hospital of Athens. Our therapeutic procedure was the following:prescription of atypical anti-psychoticscompletion of the MMPIexamination of family/personal historyexamination of family dynamics/dysfunctionsindividualized therapeutic intervention for each patient and family evaluation of the results one year later. Our intervention comprised of family therapy, setting family roles boundaries, patients’ autonomy, agreement in interventions between family and the therapeutic group and patients’ encouragement to take initiatives concerning their personal life.ResultsØthe functionality of the patients had improvedØthere was an important restoration of their sociabilityØthere were still deficits regarding their socialization and professional rehabilitationØthere was improvement regarding their autonomyØtheir dependence had been substituted for interdependence.ConclusionsThrough this study the most obvious conclusion we reached at was the necessity of patients’ and their families’ re-education in order to be able to live a meaningful life.

AbstractThis paper deals with a possibility to use the ground-based method of observation in order to solve basic problems connected with the solar corona research. Namely:1.heating of the solar corona2.course of the global cycle in the corona3.rotation of the solar corona and development of active regions. There is stressed a possibility of high-time resolution of the coronal line photometer at Lomnický Peak coronal station, and use of the latter to obtain crucial observations.

AbstractThe occurrence of LDE-type flares in the last three cycles has been investigated. The Fourier analysis spectrum was calculated for the time series of the LDE-type flare occurrence during the 20-th, the 21-st and the rising part of the 22-nd cycle. LDE-type flares (Long Duration Events in SXR) are associated with the interplanetary protons (SEP and STIP as well), energized coronal archs and radio type IV emission. Generally, in all the cycles considered, LDE-type flares mainly originated during a 6-year interval of the respective cycle (2 years before and 4 years after the sunspot cycle maximum). The following significant periodicities were found:• in the 20-th cycle: 1.4, 2.1, 2.9, 4.0, 10.7 and 54.2 of month,• in the 21-st cycle: 1.2, 1.6, 2.8, 4.9, 7.8 and 44.5 of month,• in the 22-nd cycle, till March 1992: 1.4, 1.8, 2.4, 7.2, 8.7, 11.8 and 29.1 of month,• in all interval (1969-1992):a)the longer periodicities: 232.1, 121.1 (the dominant at 10.1 of year), 80.7, 61.9 and 25.6 of month,b)the shorter periodicities: 4.7, 5.0, 6.8, 7.9, 9.1, 15.8 and 20.4 of month.Fourier analysis of the LDE-type flare index (FI) yields significant peaks at 2.3 - 2.9 months and 4.2 - 4.9 months. These short periodicities correspond remarkably in the all three last solar cycles. The larger periodicities are different in respective cycles.

The discussion was separated into 3 different topics according to the separation made by the reviewer between the different periods of waves observed in the sun :1) global modes (long period oscillations) with predominantly radial harmonic motion.2) modes with large coherent - wave systems but not necessarily global excitation (300 s oscillation).3) locally excited - short period waves.

The following subjects were discussed:(1)Filament activation(2)Post-flare loops.(3)Surges and sprays.(4)Coronal transients.(5)Disk vs. limb observations.(6)Solar cycle variations of prominence occurrence.(7)Active prominences patrol service.Of all these items, (1) and (2) were discussed in most detail and we also pay most attention to them in this report. Items (3) and (4) did not bring anything new when compared with the earlier invited presentations given by RUST and ZIRIN and therefore, we omit them.

Today, in image analysis the broadest possible rationalization and economization have become desirable. Basically, there are two approaches for image analysis: The image analysis through the so-called scanning methods which are usually performed without the human eye and the systems of optical semiautomatic analysis completely relying on the human eye.The new MOP AM 01 opto-manual system (fig.) represents one of the very promising approaches in this field. The instrument consists of an electronic counting and storing unit, which incorporates a microprocessor and a keyboard for choice of measuring parameters, well designed for easy use.Using the MOP AM 01 there are three possibilities of image analysis:the manual point counting, the opto-manual point counting andthe measurement of absolute areas and/or length (size distribution analysis included). To determine a point density for the calculation of the corresponding volume density the intercepts lying within the structure are scanned with the light pen.
