A strapdown inertial navigation system and celestial navigation system integrated autonomous navigation scheme is proposed in this paper, using the navigation information obtained from Earth sensors and star sensors. To eliminate the adverse effect caused by the asymmetry of Earth infrared radiance, the relationship between Earth infrared radiance brightness and effective horizon height is found. According to the relationship as well as the measuring principle of the Earth sensor, this paper derives a function to correct the measurement of the Earth sensor. Then, the angle-distance of stars can be calculated, and using this information, we can estimate the navigation information of a ballistic missile by least square estimation. The simulation results show that the error of Earth infrared radiance has a great effect on the navigation precision, and by using the correction scheme, this adverse effect can be greatly mitigated. This correction scheme is available and effective.

A Celestial Navigation System (CNS) is a feasible and economical autonomous navigation system for deep-space probes. Ephemeris errors have a great influence on the performance of CNSs during the Mars approach phase, but there are few research studies on this problem. In this paper, the analysis shows that the ephemeris error of Mars is slowly-varying, while the ephemeris error of Phobos and Deimos is periodical. The influence of the ephemeris errors of Mars and its satellites is analysed in relation to both the Sun-centred frame and the Mars-centred frame. The simulations show that the position error of a probe relative to the Sun caused by the Mars ephemeris error is almost equal to the ephemeris error itself, that the velocity error is affected slightly, and that the position and velocity relative to Mars are hardly affected. The navigation result of a Mars probe is also greatly affected by the quantities and periodicities of the ephemeris errors of Phobos and Deimos, especially that of Deimos.

An integrated celestial navigation scheme for spacecrafts based on an optical interferometer and an ultraviolet Earth sensor is presented in this paper. The optical interferometer is adopted to measure the change in inter-star angles due to stellar aberration, which provides information on the velocity of the spacecraft in the plane perpendicular to the direction of the observed star. In order to enhance the navigation performance, the measurements obtained from the ultraviolet Earth sensor is used to eliminate the unfavorable effect caused by the gravitational deflection of starlight. As the prior knowledge about the optical path delay bias of the optical interferometer may be ambiguous, a Q-learning extended Kalman filter is derived to fuse the two types of measurements, and estimate the kinematic state together with the optical path delay bias. The solution of the autonomous navigation system consists of position, velocity and attitude of the spacecraft. Numerical simulation shows that an evident improvement in navigation accuracy can be achieved by introducing the ultraviolet Earth sensor into the navigation system. In addition, it is shown that the Q-learning extended Kalman filter performs better than the traditional extended Kalman filter.

Abstract. Earthquakes are natural disasters caused by shocks on the earth due to faults and the sudden movement of tectonic rocks that make up the earth's crust. This study of earthquakes will be interesting if explored further from the perspective of the Qur'an because in the Qur'an there are many verses that speak of earthquakes. As explained in the Qur'an Al-Zalzalah verses 1-8. On February 14 2016 to February 23 2016 aftershocks occurred in the Klagon Village Area, Saradan District, Madiun. To analyze when the end of aftershocks ends by using the Least Square Method and the relationship of frequency of aftershocks to times that include the Omori, Omogi 1, Omogi 2 and Utsu methods. The conclusion of this study is the Omogi 2 method which has obtained the correlation coefficient r = 0.195 from the correlation value -1 ≤ r ≤ 1, with the aftershocks ending on day 464 and from the comparison of aftershock frequency corresponding to the graph between the results data calculations with real data (actual data) namely the Omogi 2 method. And basically the term earthquake in the Qur'an can still be said not to make the verses interpreted as a single word containing the meaning of the earthquake as a brief explanation of aftershocks in the perspective of the Qur'an.

In order to improve the performance of interstellar autonomous navigation system, an interstellar autonomous navigation system using X-ray pulsar and stellar angle measurement is proposed. In this system, an X-ray detector, which is fixed on a gimbaled axis, is adopted. The detector can point at the different X-ray pulsars that are visible. By augmenting the clock error and the clock drift error as a component of the spacecraft state, the proposed system can correct the clock error of the atomic clock onboard. Furthermore, the observability of the corresponding system is investigated, and the result shows that the system is completely observable at most of time. The proposed system can provide an improved performance than traditional version of celestial navigation system (CNS). Through consequentially measure the difference pulsars, the proposed system can have a satisfactory performance. The proposed navigation system provides a prospective way for the realization of the deep space autonomous navigation system.

A central concern of ecological biblical hermeneutics is to overcome the anthropocentric bias we are likely to find both in interpretations of the biblical texts and in the biblical text itself. One of the consequences of anthropocentrism has been described as a sense of distance, separation, and otherness in the relationship between humans and other members of the Earth community. This article is an attempt to determine whether extant ecological interpretations of the Jonah narrative have successfully addressed this sense of estrangement. The article focuses on the work of Ernst M. Conradie (2005), Raymond F. Person (2008), Yael Shemesh (2010), Brent A. Strawn (2012), and Phyllis Trible (1994, 1996).

This research the impact of competitive quasi market on service delivery in Benue State University, Makurdi Nigeria. Both primary and secondary source of data and information were used for the study and questionnaire was used to extract information from the purposively selected respondents. The population for this study is one hundred and seventy three (173) administrative staff of Benue State University selected at random. The statistical tools employed was the classical ordinary least square (OLS) and the probability value of the estimates was used to tests hypotheses of the study. The result of the study indicates that a positive relationship exist between Competitive quasi marketing in Benue State University, Makurdi Nigeria (CQM) and Transparency in the service delivery (TRSP) and the relationship is statistically significant (p<0.05). Competitive quasi marketing (CQM) has a negative effect on Observe Competence in Benue State University, Makurdi Nigeria (OBCP) and the relationship is not statistically significant (p>0.05). Competitive quasi marketing (CQM) has a positive effect on Innovation in Benue State University, Makurdi Nigeria (INVO) and the relationship is statistically significant (p<0.05) and in line with a priori expectation. This means that a unit increases in Competitive quasi marketing (CQM) will result to a corresponding increase in innovation in Benue State University, Makurdi Nigeria (INVO) by a margin of 22.5%. It was concluded that government monopoly in the provision of certain types of services has greatly affected the quality of service experience in the institution. It was recommended among others that the stakeholders in the market has to be transparent so that the system will be productive to serve the society effectively

This study aims to investigate destination brand prestige, and to explore the mediating effects of destination brand worldness between destination brand prestige and intention to revisit. Research is designed to collect primary data from the Taiwanese tourists. Partial least squares structural equation modeling is used to test the effects. The research model is appropriately implemented in Smart PLS 3 and a full mediation has existed through the empirical findings. The study shows how destination brand worldness mediates the relationship between destination brand prestige and intention to revisit.
