[En] The test is one of the stages used to evaluate a person's ability to perform a series of activities. In a series of learning activities at Sekolah Tinggi Tarakanita also need a step in measuring ability of a student. Stages of the exam is done twice in one semester, the midterm exam and the final exam of the semester. With about 900 students, each exam is ongoing so Tarakanita High School must prepare around 64,800 to 108,000 sheets of paper or about 130 to 216 reams of F4 size (folio) paper that is only used during the test. After the exam is over, the exam sheet is not used and will be stacked in the warehouse. In addition to supporting government programs in the campaign "Go Green" was a matter of test based Computer Based Test (CBT) is also able to save costs up to 80% for each time the examination takes place. Through the integration of Learning Management System (LMS) built at Tarakanita High School, this Computer Based Test (CBT) based test can be implemented well. By using the experimental research method then designed an application test questions based on Computer Based Test (CBT). While the application development method used is waterfall model with black box testing as the method chosen for testing the application. The results of the application test show that the question of Computer Based Test (CBT) based test can be done well through the support of facilities and infrastructure that are already available. Even the test results can be directly known along with the correct location and wrong in any number. Therefore, this application can also be used as an exercise in preparation for exams.

This article discusses calculation practices in the development of a monitoring device, aimed at improving therapeutic compliance of children and teenagers suffering from a deformation of the spine. In managing the complexities of physical parameters, therapeutic measures and interventions in every day life, numbers are central participants in inferring from and interfering into bodies and behaviours. Numbers are input and output of such monitoring systems, translating, circulating and visualizing body conditions, therapeutic effects and suggesting action. At the core of this generative process of capturing and interpreting data are algorithms as common participants of managing the complexities of vast amounts of data and providing the basis for interference in people’s lives. They process data and provide seemingly unambiguous numerical outcome, based on mathematical-technological processing of information. Attending to the incremental process of “learning algorithms” as central part of the system’s development allows me to describe the robustness of certain modes of inference. Beyond using the specific case as an exemplary for computer-based numerical inference and interference, the article is an attempt to probe and complement two theoretical approaches to the numerical management of complexity: Helen Verran’s focus on numbers’ performative properties and the potential tensions arising from divergent numerical orderings; and Paul Kockelman’s sieving of inferential and indexical chains along the generation of meaning and ontological transformativities.

Houses and other types of housing are things that cannot be separated from the needs of human life. The house function as a place to refuge, a place to live, and to gather with family. Proper housing is the basic need of all people who will strengthen the family, as the main pillar of the nation's strength, at the same time acting as a bastion against various health risks. The properness of a house for family housing becomes the basis for the growth and development of a better family life. Roofs, floors, and walls (aladin) are indicator data of whether a house is proper or not at the time of the survey. An adaptive, flexible and interactive computer-based system is used to solve unstructured problems so the more valuable decisions can be produced. This study describes how to process data using fuzzy logic methods. The expected result is to support the decision whether or not a house is feasible are in accordance with the facts and location data in the field. To determine which housing are categorized as severely damaged, moderate and lightly damaged by using the fuzzy logica method with roof, floor and wall variables as input variables so that local governments will find it easier to sort work priorities in the short, medium and long term

The Internet of Things (IoT) as well as many other new applications require sensors that can already process data inside the sensor and exchange the pre-processed data more or less directly with their environment. Such sensors typically have a digital output and thus challenge current calibration systems which usually have analogue input channels. Furthermore most calibration standards were written for an analogue world and do not fit to sensors with internal A/D converters and data pre-processing. Based on experiences of the authors with the calibration of accelerometers with digital output, the paper will give an overview over the challenges that we will face in a digital sensor world. How will calibration systems for such transducers will look like? How do I calculate a measurement uncertainty if the signal processing inside a sensor is a black box? The paper addresses the challenges and tries to give an outlook how to meet them.

Sixty-two high-school biology students, paired heterogeneously based on prior knowledge, learned about genetic using GenScope, a computer-based learning environment (CBLE), over four 90-minute class periods. Differences between low and high prior knowledge students emerged with convergence of verbal process data and pre- and post-test product data. The low prior knowledge students gained significantly in conceptual understanding from pre- to post-test, whereas the high prior knowledge students' understanding did not significantly change. In an analysis of their verbalizations, low prior knowledge students regulated their learning by relying on their partners for cognitive and other regulatory support whereas the high prior knowledge students spent most of their time regulating their own learning or providing external support for their lower prior knowledge peer. The results of this naturalistic study can potentially be used to inform educational practice by highlighting scaffolds that may foster self-regulated learning in a CBLE-mediated science inquiry context.

Means of government to improve quality of teacher is accomplished through teacher certification. It is done by selecting every teacher listed in Education Board in Indonesia. Lots of data of participants of the teacher certification and confusion of criteria in selection of the teacher certification done by committee of the teacher certification can cause inaccurate data of the eligible participants to be certified. It causes gap for teacher which is actually eligible to be certified. To overcome the situation, it is necessary to produce a computer-based systematic effort for every working unit, in this case is Education Board of Murung Raya Regency in Central Kalimantan. The Development of Decision Support System which was used in this study was started by analyzing available system and analyzing related literature, Government Regulations, which was used as legal foundation to process data related to the teacher certification. Teacher certification scoring used Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), which scored every datum and then was normalized by matrix. The result of matrix normalization obtained the final score of 7 (seven) criteria for every teacher which later will be ranked from the highest to the lowest. The rank was utilized to decide priority of teacher which was eligible to be certified. This application used Borland Delphi 7 as the programming language and MySQL as the database engine. The result of this study was a helping application to recommend teacher certification. Data which was produced by the application showed the similar result compared with the result of manual scoring from the institution. Therefore, it is suggested to implement the application since it is really helpful to assist the Education Board of Murung Raya, especially for employment construction to decide priority teacher to get the certification for every year as long as the regulation or policy does not change.
