Kata kunci: faktor proteksi, harga diri, ide bunuh diri, dan pola asuh orangtua   SELF-SELF-PRICE AND PARENT'S PATTERN AS SELF-KILLING IDEAS PROTECTIVE FACTORS   ABSTRACT Teenagers who do not cope well under pressure will lead them to emotional instability and tend to perform a variety of malicious behavior or commit to suicide. Suicidial Ideation has protective factor such as high self esteem, because it can provide positive psychological qualities.Other protective factor is parenting style that contain balance between the dimensions of acceptance and control, also called authoritative. This study aims to determine the relationship of self-esteem and parenting Stylewith Suicidial Ideation in high school adolescents. This study used descriptive correlative and cross-sectional approach. This study has a number of 322 respondents, that are high school adolescents selected by proportional random sampling technique. There is strong relationshipwith negative directionbetween self-esteem with suicidal ideationand the correlation coefficient is -0,876, which means that the if adolescent’s self-esteem is lower so suicidal ideation will be higher. There is moderate relationshipwith negative direction between parenting style with suicidal ideation and the correlation coefficient is -0,365, which means that if parenting style is authoritative so suicidal ideation will be lower, and if parenting style is authoritarian so suicidal ideation will be higher. This study can be used to improve nursing intervention in identify suicidal ideation, and also to improve teenager’s and teacher’s knowledge about protective factors of suicidal ideation.   Keywords: parenting style, protective factor,self-esteem and suicidal ideation

Researchers widely explored non-intellective study factors because they play a central role in academic performance and are potentially more modifiable than intellective ones. The scientific literature suggests that the non-intellective factors can be classified into three main areas: self-concept, which refers to self-esteem and efficacy, motivation and emotional reactions; the area of study, related to study dedication and operative skills; and the area of relationships, comprising those with family, fellow students and teachers. Basing on these findings, the C-Comp Scale has been developed and tested in the past, addressed to college students. This study aimed to adapt and test a new version of this questionnaire on high school students. Methods. A pilot study was conducted on 364 Italian high school students to adapt and test the new version of the questionnaire, called the H-Comp Scale. The following study, conducted on 792 Italian high school students, provided further evidence of its reliability, structural validity, and concurrent validity with general self-efficacy, academic self-efficacy, social self-efficacy, and academic performance. Results. The H-Comp Scale showed to possess excellent reliability and structural and concurrent validity. The final version is composed of twelve subscales, aggregated in three areas, with just 48 items: Study (Intrinsic Motivation, Extrinsic Motivation, Time Management, Study Dedication), Self (Learning Assessment, General Self-Esteem, Self-Efficacy, Reaction to Failures, Emotional Control), and Relationships (Family Relationships, Fellow Student Relationships, Teacher Relationships). Conclusions. The H-Comp Scale would be a useful and easy-to-use instrument to support school counselors, tutors, teachers, and researchers in exploring different types of non-intellective variables, to better project educational intervention aimed to improve high school students’ academic performance and satisfaction.

This study aimed to examine the self-esteem of those who did sports in physically disabled individuals by some variables. Based on this aim, the study was designed quantitatively. In this descriptive research, the general survey model that is coherent with the main purpose was used. The study group of the research consisted of 140 individuals aged 18 and over who had physical disabilities and actively engage in sports. Purposeful sampling approaches and easily accessible sampling methods were used in the selection of the study group. The scale form was used to collect research data. The scale form consisted of two parts. In the first part of this form, there was a personal information form containing information about the participants and in the second part, there was the "Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale" developed by Rosenberg (1965) and adapted into Turkish by Çuhadaroğlu (1986). This form was applied to the participants on a voluntary basis, on the internet between 13.05.2020 and 03.06.2020. Necessary explanations were made to the participants while filling the form and they were provided to answer correctly. In this study, the self-esteem of physically disabled athletes was examined according to some variables. The research group consisted of 140 participants; 42 (30.0%) of them were female and 98 (70.0%) of them were male and the number of male participants was approximate twice the number of female participants. It was found that 18 (12.9%) participants were graduated from elementary and secondary schools, 59 (42.1%) from high school, and 63 (45%) from college, and the number of the participants belonging to the group consisted of graduates from high school and college were approximately four times more than the participants from the elementary and secondary school graduate group. It was determined that 9 (13.6%) of the participants had low, 105 (75%) had medium and 16 (11.4%) had a high level of income. It was observed that 83 (59.3%) of the participants were congenitally disabled and 57 (40.7%) of the participants disabled after birth and the number of congenitally disabled participants approximately 1.5 times more than the number of participants with disabilities after birth. It was determined that the number of participants who were national athletes was approximately 2.5 times those who were not. Among the variables examined, it was seen that there was only a statistically positive and low-level significant relationship between the sports age variable and the self-esteem mean score of the participants (r = .147; p < 0.05). In this context, as the age of the participants increased, the self-esteem of the participants also increased. As a result, it was determined that there was a positive correlation between the age of starting sports and self-esteem in physically disabled individuals, and individuals who started sports at an early age had a higher rate than other individuals.

Eighty percent of students entering school feel good about themselves and who they are. By the fifth grade only 20 percent have high self-esteem. By the time students become seniors in high school, the percentage who have managed to keep a positive level of self-esteem has dropped to 5 percent. Students encounter the equivalent of 60 days each year reprimanding, nagging and punishment. During 12 years of schooling a student is subject to 15,000 negative statements. That's three times the amount of positive statements received.

The research problem relates to the examination of the relationof socio-demographic characteristics (gender, level of education and the place where most of childhood was spent) and the self-esteem of the respondents with loneliness. In investigating this problem, the focus was primarily on the perception of the distribution of loneliness, and the examination of the relation of independent variables (socio-demographic characteristics and self-esteem) with the dependent variable (loneliness). The sample of respondents consists of 677 high school students (49.34%) and college students (50.66%) of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The range of years of subjects ranges from 15 to 23 (AS = 18.696).The results of the study show that there is a statistically significant difference in loneliness with regard to gender (U = 38672.000, Z = -6.122, p = .000), to the level of education (U = 42292.500, Z = -5.905, p = .000) and the place in which the respondents spent most of their childhood (χ2 = 9.383, df = 2, sig = .009). The results show that there is a statistically significant relation between self-esteem and loneliness (ro = -.401, sig = .000, N = 676).
