AbstractA key function of morality is to regulate social behavior. Research suggests moral values may be divided into two types: binding values, which govern behavior in groups, and individualizing values, which promote personal rights and freedoms. Because people tend to mentally activate concepts in situations in which they may prove useful, the importance they afford moral values may vary according to whom they are with in the moment. In particular, because binding values help regulate communal behavior, people may afford these values more importance when in the presence of close (versus distant) others. Five studies test and support this hypothesis. First, we use a custom smartphone application to repeatedly record participants’ (n = 1166) current social context and the importance they afforded moral values. Results show people rate moral values as more important when in the presence of close others, and this effect is stronger for binding than individualizing values—an effect that replicates in a large preregistered online sample (n = 2016). A lab study (n = 390) and two preregistered online experiments (n = 580 and n = 752) provide convergent evidence that people afford binding, but not individualizing, values more importance when in the real or imagined presence of close others. Our results suggest people selectively activate different moral values according to the demands of the situation, and show how the mere presence of others can affect moral thinking.

The purpose of this study was to describe the author's social context and socio-cultural elements in the novel About You by Tere Liye. This research was a qualitative research with sociology of literature approach. This research was to describe author's social context and socio-cultural elements in the novel About You by Tere Liye. The results of the discussion in this study were obtained story fact that related to their social values namely violence, starting a business, product marketing, malaria events (January 15 disasters), friendship, and betrayal. While the social values contained in the novel About You by Tere Liye included: patience, obedience, forgiveness, helping others, caring for others, working hard, loyalty, mutual trust between friends, help between friends, and honestly. The results of this study conclude: (1) author's social context of the novel About You by Tere Liye work consists of the theme and facts of theory, and (2) socio-cultural elements of the novel About You the moral values contained in Tere Liye's novel About You are: (a) human relationships with self that include fear, death, longing and revenge, (b) human relationships with humans.

Most of the existing mobile services were designed based on the client/server architecture. Those mobile services neither paid much attention to mobile users’ interactions with their environments nor considered the collective efforts between the mobile users in a dynamic peer group. In this article, the notion of ambient e-service is so defined as to identify a new scope of mobile e-service, which address dynamic collective efforts between mobile users (enabled by mobile peer-to-peer technology), dynamic interactions with ambient environments (envisioned by location-based service), the moment of value (empowered by wireless technologies), and low cost service provision. The notable features of ambient e-services are the exhilarated linkage based on social context and significantly rapid growth of connections. We also present an ambient e-service framework that characterizes ambient e-services with three dimensions (value stack, environment stack, and technology stack), followed by several exemplars of ambient e-service applications. Moreover, we present the ambient e-service embracing model (ASEM) that addresses the integrated consideration of trust, reputation, and privacy required for fostering the growth of ambient e-services and steers the directions of future fruitful relevant research.

What we humans call ethics or morality depends on four interlocking brain processes: (1) caring (supported by the neuroendocrine system, and emerging in the young as a function of parental care); (2) learning local social practices and the ways of others — by positive and negative reinforcement, by imitation, by trial and error, by various kinds of conditioning, and by analogy; (3) recognition of others’ psychological states (goals, feelings etc.); (4) problem-solving in a social context. These four broad capacities are not unique to humans, but are probably uniquely developed in human brains by virtue of the expansion of the prefrontal cortex (this formulation is based on Chapter 1 of my book, Braintrust: What neuroscience tells us about morality).

Violent behaviors conducted by children were unimaginable by our mind that we have set our mind that children are group of people who still innocent, and the hope for our future. Violence—in our mind—is perhaps the trait that labeled to some thugs, robbers, and many criminals whose world are full of violence they lived in. What is happening with our society and our children? Violence conducted by children can be seen as social behavior disturbance since there are violations to the moral values and humanity, family and society normative rules. Violent behavior—verbal and non verbal—including bad attitudes and behaviors that disturb many our environment are violation to what we call as society norms and laws. Children who conducted violent behavior were not a result of instant process but a cumulative result of many aspects they have seen, heard and felt in daily life. Aggression and anti social behavior are a learned behavior which means that children learned it from imitation process from something and someone who they meet, see, heard and copied.

El estudio describe el tratamiento de la Educación Física bajo las leyes franquistas aprobadas tras 1939, para concluir el importante efecto de la orientación política de esta disciplina escolar hasta su progresiva modernización en los 70s. El trabajo parte de los estudios realizados sobre historia de la Educación Física en España durante el franquismo (1936-1975) que han versado sobre dos ejes: el ideal moralizador de la Educación Física acorde con el contexto político-social del momento y los estudios que han analizado los hábitos de práctica física y gimnástica de organizaciones políticas dependientes al régimen, como “Frente de Juventudes” o la “Sección Femenina”. Como conclusión se aportan aspectos relevantes sobre la interpretación de la Educación Física desde las diferentes referencias legislativas y otros documentos durante la dictadura que podrían ayudar a entender diversas perspectivas de esta área. Abstract. The present study describes the treatment and interpretation of Physical Education under Franco's laws passed after 1939, so to discuss the important effect of the political orientation of this school subject until its progressive modernization in the 70's. History of Physical Education in Spain during the dictatorship of Franco (1936-1975) has dealt with two basic axes: the moralizing ideal of Physical Education according to the political-social context of the moment, and the studies that have analysed the habits of Physical and gymnastic practice of political organizations subject to the regime, such as "Frente de Juventudes" or "Sección Femenina". In conclusion, relevant aspects are presented on the interpretation of Physical Education from different legislative references and other documents during the dictatorship that could help understand diverse perspectives of this area, according to the examined Education Law.

The historical feature of the protection of corpses, as well as the development of funerary tendencies, is an integral part of the functioning of our civilization, from the very beginning of time. The approach to death depends on the cultural and denominational circle as well as time. Respect for the living and the dead was in the past a separate division of civilization and thought development. Nowadays, new trends can be observed in the development of the protection of the human individual, as well as his name or reverence. In modern Polish legislation, the open catalog of personal rights (Article 23 of the Civil Code) is a wide field of interpretation in the very problem of the existence of specific goods. Undoubtedly from the provision of art. 23 k.c, it follows that this protection is due to the live unit, and thus only until its death. At the moment when, according to the law, we cease to deal with a living person, and we start talking about corpses, certain rights are ceded to the closest persons, some are subject to inheritance. The right that people who are closest to someone’s death to cultivate this person according to their own conscience and religion and the contract between the entity authorized to burial and the cemetery management, as well as a number of related circumstances (on the drudge of several areas of law), will be called the right to the grave. The existence of the right to the grave belongs to arguable issues, as the liberty of the subject granting a certain sphere of possibility of proceedings, including its the scope of power. In the article, the Authors also discuss the issues related to the offense described in the art. 261 and 262 of the Polish Criminal Code. The dogmatic analysis carried out with regard to elements of a prohibited act has made it possible to establish, the scope of criminalization of these acts.

AbstractIt is well known that the extent to which the supply manages to adapt to the demands and changes in consumer behavior is key to the success of a business or, in the current economic context, to the survival of a business. This paper aims to analyze the manner in which the perception and attitude of the individual towards risk causes major changes in its purchasing behavior and, implicitly, to identify the tools of marketing with a favorable impact on the consumer, in the economic and social context generated by the Covid-19 pandemic. Although the fear and concern generated by the current economic and social crisis are visibly affecting both social behavior in general, and purchasing behavior in particular, finding effective ways to inform and communicate with consumers to facilitate their access to up-to-date and highly accurate information is essential both to meet the growing need for information in conditions of risk and uncertainty, and to guide the purchasing decision towards the best alternative for the consumer.
