The current state of cenotic populations of 2 plant species listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the territories of Kashkadarya province was assessed, such as: Iris magnifica Vved. and Tulipa fosteriana W. Irving. The presence or absence of certain ontogenetic groups in coenopopulation is associated with the ecological-phytocenotic growth condition and the degree of cattle grazing. The aim of the research was to describe the coenopopulation of Iris magnifica Vved. and Tulipa fosteriana W. Irving. The scientific justification of the ways of ecological improvement of coenopopulation. In the implementation of scientific work, the methods of traditional geobotanical and cartographic remote study of plant formations were applied. The factors that influence the vegetative processes of plant formations were identified in this study so that the ontogenetic structure of coenopopulation of Iris magnifica Vved. and Tulipa fosteriana W. Irving. were developed.

Populations of Paeonia caucasica (Schipcz.) Schipcz., 1937 growing in various forest phytocenoses were discovered and studied during the monitoring of protected plant species in the Republic of Adygea. The allocation of the species to a certain range of altitudes above sea level and types of communities were defined. The ontogenetic structure and states of plants were identified, and the state of P. caucasica populations was assessed.

The subject of this paper is the analysis of cooperation between science and business in the Republic of Serbia. The main goal of the paper is to identify the level of cooperation, the achieved results and the scientific areas in which the cooperation is being carried out, through the analysis of the current state of cooperation between science and business. The paper should serve as the starting point for future research, where the effects of profitability of investments in science at macro and micro level will be evaluated. The analysis used the official data on the achieved results in scientific research activities from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, and data from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. The obtained results showed that Serbia has a potential in the science sector, but that it is not sufficiently used by the economy since researchers focus exclusively on the production of scientific work.

During the monitoring of rare plant species in the Maykop region of the Republic of Adygea, known and discovered new locations of P. chlorantha were confirmed, for which the height above sea level and geographical coordinates were determined. The identification of the species to a certain range of altitudes above sea level and types of phytocenoses was revealed. Ongenetic states, ontogenetic structure and intraspecific variability of P. chlorantha were studied in populations.

The article notes that the growing popularity of healthy lifestyles contributes to the increase in consumption of fruits and berries. At the same time, the analysis of the dynamics of the gardening industry for 2000-2018 shows that the problem of providing fresh fruits and berries to the population remains one of the most important. Based on actual data, linear and logarithmic models of time series of key industry indicators for the period 2010 – 2019 have been compiled. Calculations showed that in the Russian Federation as a whole the trend of reduction of sown areas of perennial fruit plantations will continue with growth of yield and gross fees. In this regard, the issues of distribution and introduction of gardens of intensive type are updated. An overview of the views of domestic scientists-gardeners on the concept of “intensive garden” is given. It has been established that the distribution of intensive gardens is possible only if there are favorable natural and climatic conditions and a developed scientific and production base of nursery management. The current state and problems of gardening in one of the leading regions – the Republic of Dagestan - are considered. A significant technological lag of region in the further development of intensive horticulture has been identified. Various directions of intensification process in horticulture as the main and necessary condition of growth of efficient and sustainable production are summarized.
