This article reveals the current situation in education, which is characterized by individualization and intensification of educational process. It becomes important for students not just to acquire communicative speaking skills in a foreign language, but to develop their ability to interact with representatives of the international community using a foreign language as a means of communication. The need of adjusting the organization of teaching oral foreign language communication at university and developing new effective educational technologies is emphasized. A comparative analysis of the methods of teaching oral speech (Storytelling and Storyline) is carried out. The analysis is based on the key elements of the educational process the authors identify within these methods: idea, character, demonstration result of students’ activities, and structure. The main differences of these methods are revealed. They are the creation of a character in the form of a paper model, making a collage as an illustration of a story, and drama (incidents and celebration). Special attention is paid to the description of the Storyline method, which is basic in the development of a narrativecommunicative technology. It is impossible to use this method in its original form in the educational process of the university. The main part of the article is devoted to the description of the authorial narrative-communicative educational technology and its didactic potential in teaching a foreign language as a means of intercultural communication. Features of the technology are described, including integrativeness, discursiveness, contextuality, intercultural orientation, elements of communicative situation, sociocultural conditioning, interactivity, and activity. The characteristics of the technology are also considered. The methodology of teaching based on the narrative-communicative technology includes a set of steps that is consistent with the step-by-step realization of students’ cognitive and narrative-communicative activities, which stimulates gradual “immersion” in the foreign-language context by creating and reproducing the narrative. The educational technology the authors developed appears to be an innovative tool of the teacher’s transformative activity that creates favorable conditions for students’ involvement in dynamic communicative activity, a comfortable educational atmosphere, and an increase in students’ motivation. This technology is a way to reconstruct reality, in which students develop their communication and cognitive skills.

Introduction. The article provides the survey of distance technologies implementation experience in response to forced transition to e-learning environment at the university classes of the English language. The objective of the work is to consolidate and summarize the findings of the questionnaire aimed at identifying students and teachers’ attitude towards the educational process transition to electronic format. Material and methods. Research statistics was taken from the questionnaire conducted in the first couple of weeks of online English classes and at the end of 2019–2020 academic year spring term. In order to solve the task the authors applied the following methods: the analysis of methodological literature on technologies introduction into educational process at English language classes, questionnaire given to university students and teachers. Results and discussion. The paper combines and generalizes the replies to the questionnaire about the very first experience of using e-learning environment fully instead of in-class activities for the English language classes at the university. Advantages and drawbacks of a distance education are mentioned as well as the level of educational process participants’ satisfaction with the language teaching quality within a new format. There are also some special aspects of teaching English online shown. It was defined that during these classes students and teachers had faced the major challenge – the lack of a real-life communication with verbal and nonverbal channels of information exchange. One of the undeniable benefits of a distance education when compared to classroom sessions is organizational aspect, especially time saving. Conclusion. Remote format of the English language classes is considered as a high quality alternative to in-class learning in situations when classroom settings are impossible to be organized due to different circumstances (pandemics, weather conditions, etc.). Practical focus of a “Foreign language” as a subject determines the significance of a real-life face-to-face communication during the classes.

Recently, there have been outlined some problems in the motivated participation of students in the educational process. These ones presuppose the optimization of traditional teaching methods and the application of new methods, techniques and approaches in the learning process. The necessity of introducing a new-invented educational model for students’ training at NSA "Vasil Levski", combining the foreign language teaching and their sports training is imposed by the need to improve the existing educational practice both in sport practice and in foreign language learning. The new-invented teaching method "Language through sport" for weightlifting and power lifting specialists has not been developed so far in this specific educational context. The experimental teaching method has been elaborated and applied by simultaneous implementation of foreign language learning of standardized international terms in the field of weightlifting and power lifting in students’ training sessions. The study of the impact of new-invented method "Language through Sport" on students’ motivation is a reliable indicator of the efficacy of this training and teaching method in sports pedagogical practice, not only in weightlifting and power lifting but also in other sports disciplines.

Research using the site continues in different groups by nationality (it is possible that there are several linguistic ones), by the number (it is possible to train a group of up to 15 people), by the degree of preparation (possibly A1-B1). The site has a number of advantages: the ability to edit as needed, change the interface and generate content. The study shows how didactics is interconnected with physiology, and the lecturer’s competence includes creativity, which in modern informational conditions is considered through the use of multimedia the lecturer’s training personal website www. russian-teacher.ru.
