Abstract With the gradual development of the times, people’s material life has been greatly improved. All kinds of sports have become an indispensable part of people’s life, but sports are always accompanied by certain risks. People injured by sports show an increasing trend every year. However, it can be found that among many rehabilitation instruments, there is not much research on wrist rehabilitation instruments, which leads to the restoration of bandage splint or plaster fixation in most of the time. These traditional methods have the problems of slow recovery cycle, difficult disassembly and complex replacement. At the same time, most of the wrist rehabilitation instruments that have been developed are large and medium-sized instruments, which can not be carried, can not play a real-time protective role, and can not be well applied to daily life. Therefore, a wearable periodic recovery robot with traditional strap splint, modern transmission and flexible positioning is proposed.

Along with the times, recently there have been found tool to facilitate human’s work. Electronics is one of technology to facilitate human’s work. One of human desire is being safe, so that people think to make a tool which can monitor the surrounding condition without being monitored with people’s own eyes. Public awareness of the underground water channels currently felt still very little so frequent floods. To avoid the flood disaster monitoring needs to be done to underground water channels.This tool is controlled via a web browser. for the components used in this monitoring system is the Raspberry Pi technology where the system can take pictures in real time with the help of Logitech C170 webcam camera. web browser and Raspberry Pi make everyone can control the devices around with using smartphone, laptop, computer and ipad. This research is expected to be able to help the users in knowing the blockage on water flow and monitored around in realtime.

AbstractThis paper addresses the problem of efficient and effective data collection and analytics for applications such as civil infrastructure monitoring and emergency management. Such problem requires the development of techniques by which data acquisition devices, such as IoT devices, can: (a) perform local analysis of collected data; and (b) based on the results of such analysis, autonomously decide further data acquisition. The ability to perform local analysis is critical in order to reduce the transmission costs and latency as the results of an analysis are usually smaller in size than the original data. As an example, in case of strict real-time requirements, the analysis results can be transmitted in real-time, whereas the actual collected data can be uploaded later on. The ability to autonomously decide about further data acquisition enhances scalability and reduces the need of real-time human involvement in data acquisition processes, especially in contexts with critical real-time requirements. The paper focuses on deep neural networks and discusses techniques for supporting transfer learning and pruning, so to reduce the times for training the networks and the size of the networks for deployment at IoT devices. We also discuss approaches based on machine learning reinforcement techniques enhancing the autonomy of IoT devices.

<p><em>Laker is a typical Palembang handicraft in the form of all products or household utensils made of wood, rattan, bamboo or whatever is painted with black ink and then coated with varnish as an ingredient to beautify it as well as preservative. In this modern era the use of Crafts Laker in palembang is increasingly fading and it's not longer a culture in the City of palembang, especially the younger generation. The lack of promotion carried out on Laker handicrafts has made many of today's young generations not too familiar with Laker crafts, not even a few of them don’t know at all what laker craft is. Moreover, in the current development era, there is a fear of changing cultural heritage forms as a result of the impact of the development and progress of modern technology and other cultural elements that come from outside. To avoid this, visual promotion efforts are needed to the people of Palembang. This promotion was carried out to be able to invite the people of Palembang to cultivate laker crafts in daily life,especially the younger generation. Therefore the Visual Communication Design, Promotion of Laker Crafts is a form of persuasive effort to the people of Palembang, especially to get to know the Laker Crafts so that they can instill a sense of love and pride in Palembang Laker crafts that are known to the Palembang youth, and can invite Palembang people, especially the younger generation cultivate Laker crafts in daily life along with the trends of the times.</em></p>

The spread of Islam in the Malay Archipelago (henceforth Nusantara) contributed to the activity of al -Quran translation in Malay civilisation. The society started to learn about Islam and the syariah that encouraged them to be close to al-Quran and translate it into the local language. Al-Quran was translated into Malay language in many ways. This study is a study of text aimed at identifying the translated works of al-Quran in Malay language beginning from the 17th century to the 20th century and to investigate its design and chronology. This qualitative study takes a descriptive approach and inculcates the historical method involving heuristics, critique of sources, interpretation and historiography in data collection and data analysis. The research findings show that 21 al-Quran translations into Malay language have been produced since the 17th century in Nusantara. Most of the al-Quran translated works were approached by interpretive translation rather than literal translation. The design of al-Quran translation into Malay language had developed in line with the times, beginning with classical Malay language using the jawi (Arabic) script, until the modern Malay language using romanised script. The concise translation style was seen to dominate the layout of al-Quran translations into Malay language. The al-Quran translation activity was not without controversy, until it led to several works being banned from publication. The rapid translation activity shows the enthusiastic efforts by society in Nusantara in transferring religious knowledge into guidance for daily life.

Abstract Objective There is a need to identify determinants of neurocognitive impairment among older persons living with HIV (PLHIV). Utilizing smartphone-based Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) and mobile cognitive testing, we examined the relationships between daily life activities and real-world neurocognitive performance among older PLHIV and HIV-uninfected adults. Method Ninety-one participants (58 PLHIV; Mage = 59.4, SD = 6.4), 70.3% male, 65.9% non-Hispanic white, completed four smartphone-based EMA surveys of daily activities and one mobile color-word interference test (mCWIT) per day for 14 days. Daily activities were grouped into five categories: activities of daily living (ADLs, IADLs), cognitively demanding activities, socially-engaging activities, physical activity (PA), and passive leisure activity (watching TV). Data was collapsed across the 14 days to examine between-person effects of the proportion of time reportedly spent on each activity on neurocognitive outcomes (the average correct responses and completion time for the mCWIT). Results No effect was found for engaging in activities by HIV status; however, PLHIV had significantly longer times on the mCWIT compared to persons without HIV (t = 2.49; 95% CI: 0.60, 5.37; p = 0.02). In a multivariable regression model accounting for HIV status, a greater proportion of time spent watching TV was associated with slower average mCWIT performance (beta = 9.41; 95% CI: 1.88,17.0; p = 0.01). There were no relationships between other domains of daily life activities and mCWIT performance. Conclusion Our findings provide evidence that more time spent watching TV is associated with slower mCWIT performance. Future work examining the time-lagged relationships between these variables is needed to understand whether watching TV decreases real-time neurocognitive performance.

AbstractAll Anglican cathedrals in England have formal associations of Friends (like other institutions in the heritage sector). The majority arose in the 1920s/30s, a period that coincided with the gradual development of a focused outreach strategy by cathedrals, and the abandonment of sixpenny entrance fees. By analysing Letters to the Editor and news reports in The Times, this article explores the origins of cathedral Friends’ associations. The sources illustrate the benefits of Friendship for both sides of the dyad: for the cathedrals, primarily the five shilling subscriptions and the creation of an informed supporter base; and for the members, mainly esoteric benefits. It is also demonstrated that, in the north, Friends’ gifts directly replaced cathedral/diocesan resources being deployed for social welfare. A particular value in focusing on the history of the cathedral Friends’ movement is that it highlights the history of the cathedrals themselves in this difficult inter-war period.
