Abstract This study aimed to develop a local disaster potential-based mitigation module that is integrated into physics learning. The compilation of these teaching materials can be utilized as one of the learning media for students to learn about disaster mitigation materials independently. This study was research and development using 4D model that consisted of 4 phases namely, Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The participants in this study were 12 students from SMPN 1 Palu. The feasibility test phase of the product was conducted to determine the feasibility of the instructional materials. The trial phase was conducted on trials of material experts, media experts, teachers, and students. Based on the results of trials and questionnaire analysis, the average score of the material experts assessment was 3.24 categorized as “Good”, the average score of media expert assessment was 3.00 categorized as “Good”, the average score of teacher assessment was 4 0.0 categorized as “Very Good”, and the average score of the assessment based on student responses was 3.52 categorized as “Very Good”. The result of the study shows that the teaching materials generated, particularly those on disaster mitigation, are very suited for use in the learning process.

Chemical bonding was one of the subjects considered difficult by students, because it had submicroscopic concept that learns about the formation of bonds an element that was quite difficult for students to understand. The development of teaching material in the form of teaching materials was seen as a solution to this problem. This study aimed to develop chemical bondinginquiry modelsteaching materials with conflict cognitive strategies towards critical thinking skills. This studywas development research with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation)model design. The development results were validated by three expert validators, one practitioner validator and ten IKIP Mataram students as students' limited test validators. Quantitative data from the results of feasibility validation and the results of the assessment of student attitudes toward critical thinking skills were analyzed by percentage formula and the results of effectiveness test data were calculated by N-gain. Qualitative data in the form of responses and suggestions for improvement from the validator was used as a consideration to make revisions to the instructional materials developed. In general, the validator's assessment of the results of the development obtained an average percentage of 83.80%, 85.71%, 88% and 85.71%. While the results of the analysis of effectiveness using the N-gain test obtained an average score of 0.6 with the medium category and analysis. This showed that the teaching materials developed were very feasible to proceed to a broader and more effective stage to foster critical thinking skills.

One form of literary literacy in elementary schools is that students are able to write poetry. But in reality, students tend to have difficulty making poetry with certain themes. The reason is because teaching materials used were not able to lead students to carry out poetry writing activities well. Therefore, this study aims to develop teaching materials for writing poetry that is valid. The use of various creative techniques is expected to help students in expressing their ideas and imagination into verses of poetry. The research design uses Research and Development with the ADDIE development model. This model consists of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data to determine the level of validity of instructional materials obtained by expert validation and practitioner validation. Validation aspects of teaching materials include: (1) content feasibility aspects, (2) language aspects, (3) presentation aspects, and (4) graphical aspects. Research findings show that teaching materials for poetry writing based on creative techniques are declared valid with an average score of 3.59. Specifically, the scores obtained for each aspect are: (1) content feasibility 3.59, (2) language 3.45, (3) presentation 3.61, and (4) graphical 3.68.

Vocational high school consists of face-to-face learning and dual education system. Learning and dual education system may be either industrial work practices held for 3 or 6 months.During dual education system students can not attend face-to-face learning teaching material that students need to be able to learn independently. Specifically, learning science that students need to learn about the environment and its benefits for students. The purpose of this research is to develop instructional materials in the form of science module which helps students to learn independently and determine the response of vocational students to the science learning modules. Modules developed based entrepreneurship and contextual material with real life needs or students. The material presented is structured to support student entrepreneurship in order to be fit for purpose namely vocational work. This module development research design using the design development of Richey and Klein with Dick and Carey model for the development phase of the module material. Results of test responses of teachers and students concluded that the module gets a very good response, interesting and appropriate to the needs of students. Then the module materials can help students cultivate skills become entrepreneurs.

The results of the analysis of the fifth-grade elementary school students' books in the second-semester Theme 7 and the results of observations in elementary schools state that the manuals used by teachers and students in the learning process are still limited especially in science material. The appearance of the book also less attractive, so students become less understanding of the material explained. In addition, the lack of use and development of media in the teaching and learning process also underlies the implementation of this research. The purpose of this research was to develop a pop-up book media on the topic of changing the form of objects with validity tested. This research was conducted using the ADDIE development model (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation). However, due to limited time, resources, and finances, the research was only carried out until the development stage. The subject in this research was the pop-up book media on the topic of changing the form of objects. Whereas the object of this research was the validity of the pop-up book media on the topic of changing objects. The method used in this study was a questionnaire given to two teachers and two lecturers as experts. The instrument used was a rating scale in the form of media assessment sheets for experts. The data analyzed with the mean formula to find out its validity. The average score of the pop-up book media after being reviewed by experts was 4.87 with very good qualifications. The implication of this research was the existence of pop-up book media that have very good qualifications. Based on the results of the analysis, the developed media was valid and can be used by the teacher to facilitate the teacher in explaining the material, especially on the topic of changing the form of objects in the fifth grade of elementary school.

<p>Learning physics in SMAN 1 Bukittinggi was conducted through theories and practicum that verified the theories. The preliminary survey on the implementation of physics learning showed that teachers had not yet applied research-based learning. There were still many students who had not yet mastered the learning of physics. Supporting facilities such as physics laboratory and the equipment had been available, but they are not yet optimally utilized. Research-based learning model is one of learning models that can improve critical thinking skill and students’ learning outcome. The research is aimed at developing research-based physics learning model with Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS) approaches which was valid, practical, and effective to improve students’ critical thinking. This research used a 4D model from Thiagarajan. The instruments of the research were interview guidance, observation sheets, validation sheet of the learning model and the instructional materials, questionnaire response of teachers and students, critical thinking skill test, and assessment sheet of skills and attitudes. The result of the research showed that the developed learning model and the instructional materials belonged to the category of valid which was in accordance with the expert judgment. The learning model and the instructional materials belonged to the category of practical based on the result of the observation, and the response of teachers and students. The implementation of Research-based Physics Learning with SETS approach was effective in improving critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of the students.</p>
